I can't say enough about the children's program. My daughter has been playing there since she turned 3. Unfortunately she will never be Pele however she is getting a head start on skills as well as building great new friendships. All the parents are so involved. A prior reviewer noted that the staff is hard to get a hold of. Unfortunately that is true however Coach Dana has been very good about emailing the parents to keep them up to date on schedule changes. She has also made up classes when we have had rain-outs which most groups do not. Dana tries real hard to work with the parents and we (as well as the kids) get our money's worth! read more

I've been playing at this park for 6 or 7 years and I've never had a bad experience. The staff is always courteous, attentive, and willing to help. This place has so much potential but it's not run well! For instance, the big field layout is awesome! But the turf is in really bad shape. There's a million of these little black balls that embed in your skin. The turf is so old. The reffing is poor as well. I actually prefer when the ref allows some physicality, but these refs are too much. In the men's league I played in, my team was dirty and got away with a lot. When one player injured an opponent on purpose and nothing was done, that was the last straw and I left the team. It wasn't good, fun spirited physical play - it was bitter and dirty. It was the same in the coed league. A girl threw an elbow at my face but no call. Another girl hit me with a flying elbow but no call! The owner of the place (Jeff) hacked a girl on my team and hurt her ankle. Then he had the audacity to talk crap to a teammate of mine about his play! It's left a very bad taste in my mouth. read more

i rent the field every year for my birthday and love it. staff is friendly, flexible and the price is very affordable. i joined fri coed and its very fun. new to the sport and dana is very helpful. our team has 5 players and its $60-70 a person for 8-10 games includes ref fees too. lighting and field are fantastic. shin guards required! read more

They scheduled another game for our 9 pm game though we called and scheduled 3 hours before the other team. This was the last one of many mishaps at this soccer field and finally we have decided to never come here ever again. The manager would not believe us that we scheduled the game until we proved we called by showing my friends call log on his cell phone that he called and spoke to someone for about 5 minutes. Her staff member claims he told us that the other team had scheduled before we called although they actually initially admitted that the other team scheduled the game about 3 hours after we scheduled. What was remarkable was that the manager Dana even admitted that she gave the other team go ahead only because they would speak very little English and they were pretty rude, so it would have been tough to deal with them :)) Priceless!! The staff pretends they are there to hang out, you have to wait at the counter for quite sometime until one of them actually gets annoyed by your existence in their little socializing environment (office) :)) I am a small business owner and I feel very sorry for the owner of this business. Unique hidden arena park by Bolsa Grande HS and Garden Grove park. It's not well lit so I recommend coming with a few friends. There's decent competition during open run times ranging from 10:00pm-1:30am. Jeff is generous and gives us extra time sometimes. My Son plays soccer here on Saturday's and we really love it. Coach Dana and Autumn are amazing with the kids and the best part is that they won't let them just sit around and do nothing. Eventhough my entire team lives minutes from this site, it's sad to say we are going to have to go elsewhere. What a previous poster wrote about the bad organization from the staff is the reason. Don't expect any change from that because the lady who runs it, Danna I believe, is unapologetic in every mistake she makes. I have organized a team in this league for about 6 seasons now because I keep hoping the mistakes that are made are going to get remedied, but they never are. First off, as stated in a previous posting, don't expect your game time until two days prior at the best. I have often times called the evening before and they say to call back at night. Anyone who has organized a team knows you will often have to scramble for players if you are giving your players the game time 12 hours before it starts. You would think organizing a six/eight team league wouldn't take so much effort, but it somehow does for them. Another problem with the site is that on 3 or 4 occasions I have called to get the game time and when we show up they tell us our game time is different than what they told me on the phone. The woman that runs it will emotionlessly say sorry, but she isn't sorry. She doesn't care that you either missed your game or now have to wait another hour because her and her staff are incompetent. Also because the site is run so poorly other teams will just randomly not show up to the game. So you won't get to play. I can't even blame them because they were probably told the wrong time or couldn't get enough people on such short notice. Well if you think you will get reimbursed for the game or at the very least the ref fees, who don't have to stay and ref mind you, then you would be wrong. You won't even get a makeup game. There are only like 8 games in a season and you pay around $550 so to lose one game like that and not have it made up to you is pretty ridiculous in my opinion. Well I won't make this review any longer. I just wanted everyone to have a fair warning before they give this place their hard earned money. I give this one star only because I am not sure if I can give it zero stars. The actual playing part is fun, but it is not worth the headache when there are plenty of better sites around. I used to play in the one in Orange and will be going back there because it was much better. There is also one in Huntington I hear is good so consider that. read more

I registered a team to play here. The communication was disheartening at best. The website is worthless and they never answer their phone. (They are only open 6-10pm and even then DO NOT answer the phone.) I had to go over there and find out how and when to register a team and after over 700 dollars we got to play a season of 6 games!!! You have to call DAY OF to find out your game because they do not make the schedule until week 4, which is when we found out the season was only 6 weeks so by the time we got the schedule, only it only gave us info for our final 2 games. They say you have to have shin guards and ID cards but they Never check. You can have a different team each week and they wouldn't have any idea. On the plus side, the games are fun and the competition is fierce. They need to get it together and learn some organization and my score would improve by 2 stars. Season being longer and/or fees being lower would also improve the rating. read more

I've been coming here for years and grew up watching my sister play. Indoor soccer is fun to watch and this place has entertaining competition. It has two fields. One large 6v6 and the other 4v4. What a mistake joining this league! I had hoped to have a good season playing coed indoor soccer with my husband and our friends but unfortunately the way this place is operated makes that impossible. A woman named Dana runs the league along with several incompetent others. There have been several situations where I have requested the early game times and one person says that it shouldn't be a problem and then come game day, they say they never got the request. How so many different people can be so stupid is beyond me. They also don't provide you with a schedule until the season is almost over. Dana says that it is difficult to make a schedule with so many teams - 6 teams this season! What a joke. In some cases I would call 2 days before our game and she (Dana of course) wouldn't know our game time. How difficult is it to make a schedule after 6 teams have paid 700 bucks to play - I am shocked they are still in business. Even after complaining or simply asking for an explanation Dana refuses to admit fault. We showed up several times for a game and the other team simply didn't show up. No reimbursement for ref fees, no apology from Dana or her staff. We were required to pay for players cards and we don't even need them. Teams randomly recruit other players to play on their team so providing the league with a roster is another joke. Did I mention that the games never start on time either? You can expect a 9:00 game to start around 9:15 - but if you're playing against Dana's team you're looking at 9:30 at best. Because they run the league those people expect to be catered to. I would honestly recommend playing for any other league. We joined this league because of the convenience and I am really bummed it didn't work out but this place is ridiculously unprofessional. read more
