As of 9:45 on the first morning of my four-day vacation, I had received no communication and had not received an alert on my phone of motion in my dog yard. I texted Grace but received no response. I then tried to call her at 10:00 a.m., but there was no answer. A few minutes later, I received an alert of motion from my front doorbell. The doorbell camera showed a Sheriff's deputy knocking on my door. I called Grace again, but again, no answer. After a while, I got a call from Grace, explaining that she heard a "screaming" sound from my dogs and that she had locked herself in the guest room and called 911. I reminded Grace that, when she had come to my home two weeks prior, I told her that my dogs had learned to howl from neighborhood coyotes and got them to howl so she could hear them and not be surprised if they howled while she was staying with them. Other companies either took way too long to reply to calls or certainly were not the most innovative people to deal with. We previously worked with one landscaper to develop a design for the entire yard - back and front. While it took much longer than anticipated, it helped to give us a visual layout. The work was to complete implementation in both back and front of our property and James's quote encompassed all the work we wanted without cutting any corners.
