They provided a clear description and pricing details so we could make an informed decision. Once accepting the bid, they were able to get us on the schedule for Monday, which exceeded our expectations. The plumber gave us a heads-up when on the way with an ETA, and showed up on time, within the provided time slot that we were given on Friday. Once the work was completed, they walked my husband through what was done and they even painted it to make it look cohesive and finished, which I very much appreciate it considering it's on a visible side of our home. AP came out promptly and quickly dislodge the clog. His price was fair and reasonable. And at no extra charge when he was finished, he put his camera down there and identified the issue, being a belly in my 35 yr. pipe.. Since this happens about once every two year, no need to fix unless it starts to frequently happen. Give AP a try. I found the owner to be very honest and knowledgeable.

Several weeks ago we were told we needed a costly ($2000) repair to our unit and this week it is having the same issue. The tech arrived and installed a new dual run capacitor (without letting me know) in 5 minutes and now the unit is working. They charged us $350!!! I looked up the cost of the capacitor before he left and found it only cost them $15-$45 depending on brand. WTH???? I let the tech know that we will not longer be using RCS. Total rip off

They came out checked it and said it would cost $3000!!!! And that was with my "discount". WTF!!! Knowing this was exorbitant, I quickly checked the good ol' internet. Tavares Plumbing advertises as "flat rate", so I called. He promptly called back and gave me a flat rate (50 gal heater $935, added warranty,10 year total, $250) $1135 for exactly what I needed. Honesty and not gouging, imagine that! He said he'd be over the next day and he was! And the price was exactly what he said. He let himself in my garage, did the job and left after cleaning up and making sure my garage door was locked. P.S. I was able to check on the progress via my security cameras. I was flabbergasted at the professionalism, honesty, promptness, etc. if I had to do it again...I'd save a lot of effort and call Tavares Plumbing. In short: 1. Tavares Plumbing is awesome 2. The other reviews reflect our second experience with Andy....NO SHOW, NO CALL. Andy installed a water heater a couple months ago in our daughter's condo. He did an exceptional job, was on time, and his pricing was was competitive. I referred him to a friend, and she was beyond pleased with his service. We were excited to find a reputable plumber, so we hired him for some oddball plumbing jobs around our home. Andy was scheduled for 2:00 p.m. TWO days ago. We juggled some things around so we could be home. When we didn't hear from him by 4:00 p.m., we called. He never returned our call or showed up. If he could not or did not want to perform these odd jobs, all he had to do was say so. Although disappointed, we would have completely understood and moved on. Ignoring and "ghosting" customers is definitely not good business practice, no matter how many 5-star reviews one has. I'm deeply saddened and disappointed by this treatment, and I hope it does not happen to others.
