I've been here twice now and saw two different ladies. Both times I asked for just a cleanup. I asked them to not go above a certain line because I'm trying to grow out my brows to make them look fuller. However, they ended up taking more than I wanted. Fortunately, my brows are microbladed so they already have a shape and can't technically be ruined. Pros: the ladies are nice and cleaned the areas I wanted really well. They also work quickly. The space is clean and the prices are reasonable. Location is right in downtown Chandler. read more

Been coming here for years since the prices are cheap for brows ($10). I'll admit that usually the ladies are pretty heavy handed and it can be painful to get your brows threaded. However I went in and got helped by Hota/Jota and she was super gentle and it was relatively pain free. I'm not someone who really cares about the shape as long as they're cleaned up, but she did really well on the shaping. I am just happy I found her as when I go I typically need to wear numbing cream because it's so painful but with Hota she was super gentle and light handed. read more

I've been coming here for years, but just recently I got my brows done and they were way too thin. I specifically said to keep them thick and then the lady made them thin. I'm not sure what happened, but if a customer requests to certain shape or way that should be followed. I read another helper here mention that she requested thick brows and the lady did the same thing to her. She gave her thin brows. It's so upsetting because I thought I had found a good threading place to be faithful too, but if they can't follow simple directions, then I need to find another place. Disappointed! read more

My eyebrows came out looking sooooo thin and uneven (I have pretty thick eyebrows) I hate them. New to area 1st time I got my eyebrows done lady was great, I told her just a clean up don't make them thin, she said ok. I walked out happy. Today different lady same comment I let her know just a clean up don't take too much off. Got out of the chair I looked like I was back in the 90's no point in even crying or getting upset. I told her you didn't listen I told you not to make them thin, she replied they needed shape. I told replied to her, I asked you to clean them up not shape them, she states "i like them and it makes your face look nice" it's not what YOU like it's what your customer is asking for, as I'm paying you for a service. I'm the one who has to walk around with eyebrows like this until I can grow my eyebrows out again. Horrible. read more

Edit, March 11, 2018: Seems like I got lucky the first time I came in. This last time I stopped by, I was less than pleased with my experience - no aloe, hastily snipped eyebrows, and I was left to dust all the hairs off, some of which made it in my eye. When I got home, I noticed they weren't exactly well-shaped either. I guess I should've read the reviews and asked for Durga! $8, no fuss eyebrows? Yes, please! No extra charge for using plastic either. The street parking can be a bit of a pain but that's no fault of theirs. No appointments necessary and you'll be in and out in ten minutes. Love it here, great location, and if it wasn't clear, I'll definitely be back! read more

Durga is great with the threading! She is very personable and careful with her work. I've come a few times and had excellent results. Unfortunately, I came on a day where she wasn't here and her sub was trying to get some of my short hairs with a tweezer and it ended up making my skin bleed. When you're in a compromised position with your brows at stake all you can do is politely tell them to stop hoping that no further trauma will occur. I'll definitely call and make sure it's Durga who is here otherwise I won't stop by. read more

I got my eyebrows done here a couple of weeks ago for the first time in long time because I was in the area. It's kind of hidden so it's never busy. I love the way my eyebrows come out when I get them threaded! It takes a lot longer for them to grow back compared to when I get them waxed. The girl did a good job and I loved the shape. This place is also cheaper than most places, charging $8 whereas other places charge $10-12. read more

Writing this for my wife as she is not a yelper. She goes here, and I tag along as we normally grab something to eat or walk around. She raves about this place. The staff are friendly pretty quiet but always smiling and taking care of things. I don't think I have ever seen them not busy which is a plus. Small location but parking is easy to find and they are quick. From a guys stand point nothing more hilarious than the last time I was there watching a guy get his done because his girlfriend said he should experience. Not sure I have laughed so hard in my life. I'm not sure if she doesn't work there anymore but all of the other girls have cut me so bad, now I have horrible scars all over my eyebrows. I was happy with the first visit which made me come back.. but this time around I just wasn't as satisfied.. my eyebrows are way thinner than I told her to do them and noticeably uneven. I also didn't go to the same lady who did my browser the last time so I'm sure that's part of the problem too. Couldn't be more pleased with the results! I prefer threading over waxing, due to my sensitive skin, even though it can be a bit more painful. There is almost no reddening and the process only takes about 10 minutes (eyebrow and upper lip in my case). I called on a Sunday morning and was able to walk in with zero wait. The lady did a great job and made sure I was satisfied every few minutes. The parking situation is rather poor for the building especially on the weekends. read more

I never ended up with the thickness and shape that I wanted and always developed unsightly red rashes/breakouts within hours or days of waxing. I loved my local Tibetan eyebrow threading place when I lived in New York City. My whole face felt unkempt if I went more than two weeks without visiting. Waxing was imprecise, removing too much or too little; and the shape never seemed quite right. I'm convinced that threading works best. There don't seem to be many eyebrow threaders in the East Valley, so I'm so glad I found this spot. It's actually an improvement on my experience in Manhattan. AZ Eyebrow Threading is fast, skillful, inexpensive, and the ladies have a magical knack for knowing how my eyebrows ought to look! I'd rate the pain level of the process slightly higher than waxing but only for the first few visits, or the first in a while. My nerve cells up there seemed to relax after repeated threadings, and I actually started to enjoy and crave the sensation.
