But the thing that I really appreciated was that after the inspection, they've already been paid, and I'm hiring people to do the repairs. I texted the inspector several times for follow up details and help weeding out the bs of some of the tradespeople trying to sell me stuff. He was responsive and helpful, even though he didn't need to be. Turnaround time was also good. I hired them and they were out for the inspection within a couple of days. The report came same day. I'd recommend Patterson for your home inspection.

King Air Duct Cleaning

So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

I asked him to let me know when he was on his way so I could notify her. Not only did he do that, but he notified me again before he knocked on the door to make sure he wasn't waking her up! The cleaning was textbook; he cleared the lint the size of a ball from the vent, did NO upselling, charged exactly what I was quoted and was done quickly. And my clothes now dry on the first load! I just bought this house so I'm sure they haven't been cleaned in ages (if ever), but King Air Duct Cleaning got us rolling again quickly! Thank you-would highly recommend!

I received a very reasonable quote within an hour and when I called back to schedule an appointment, he answered the phone and scheduled the installation within a few days. The morning of appointment I received a text msg, indicating ETA for his arrival. He and his co-worker did a great job installing over 13" of insulation in our garage attic! He took before and after pictures of our attic. The inside temperature of our garage feels much better now. This is a small owner-operated business who knows how to take care of their customers. I highly recommend them!

A couple even came by to look at the job site and make recommendations about the type of installation they thought I needed. After talking to four or five firms, Milton from Izzy's insulation reached out to me and made the most practical recommendation based on my unique situation. We ended up going with a blown in fiberglass insulation of R 38 and 13 inches. His price was the best by a few bucks, but I particularly liked his practical recommendations, and so ended up using him. He booked me out a week later and showed up exactly on time and had the job done in just a couple hours. He even provided me with before and after pictures that I can use when I submit my taxes for an energy tax credit. Very straightforward and honest service I recommend if you're looking for installation to talk to him at least. As it ended up the insulation did basically nothing to help with the temperature in my garage. If others are looking to do the same thing, I tell you to look at a combination of insulation for your ceiling, walls if needed, and the inside of your garage door these metal garage doors really radiate a lot of heat into the garage.

The Seller had just two days to respond to the question of whether or not he would repair. I called Todd at TH Structural Engineering and told him what I was dealing with and the very short time for my client to have the issue checked and my very short time frame. Although he was busy with other work, he met me at the house the next day, inspected the Truss and found it was ok. He issued the Certificate I needed, confirming all was good, and my seller was able to meet the deadline for his response to the Buyers. Because of Todd reacting so quickly to my request, the seller has been able to sell his home.

He charged me to show up and talk about my project but he never followed up with anything. I had to hunt him down multiple times for load calculations that never showed up. He wasted three months of my time. He never put together anything we spoke about or I needed. I wasted $400 for his time for one afternoon. I asked for a refund since he never followed up. He had tons of excuses about his personal health and he may have but at some point you need to own the fact that you did not provide any service despite months of a patient customer following up.
