Our group of 6 was met by spunky Paulette who gave us a complete and thorough explanation on how The Bent Brush operates. After washing our hands FIRST (don't want to smudge the ceramics ) we spent time looking at all the fun ceramics to choose for painting. There are various sizes, shapes and specimens to choose from with a variety of paints, brushes and tools to use as your creative mind chooses. I will be specific and say, take your time! There is no rushing here and you are encouraged to be as creative as possible. The staff is so friendly and helpful; so don't be afraid to ask for assistance! Plus, they have so many art tools that can enhance your experience you'll never know what can aide you in your next "Van-Gough" piece Our group had a great time, singing to the awesome 80's music playing in the background and painting in this super cheerful atmosphere. This last time my humans made a spider, an alien and a narwal, and a dog treat jar!! I helped with that one!!! The staff is very helpful and even gave some tips on how to write my name on the jar. They checked on us often and got us everything we needed. One of my humans is not good in art but loves this experience and actually has made some cool things. There was also some kind of event there and everyone in the birthday party had so much fun. A great way to spend a few to several hours making cool things and gifts!! As a rum nerd I was left slightly wanting on a deeper dive of the process. Would have loved to see a small batch of mash to show the fermentation process or a finished batch to see/smell the difference after fermentation was complete. Next time I'll have to grab the distiller and ask more questions. Was awesome seeing the barrel room. Obviously the tasting was great and I came home with a bottle of the distillery exclusive tubrinado sugar rum. Looking forward to a daiquiri at home. I live next door to this place and have been doing business with this company for five years. It was convenient and a golf cart ride away. The man I dealt with was pretty rude when he questioned me about just returning and who took care of the vines while I was gone. I didn't go all male Karen on him I just took back my receipts and will go somewhere else from now on. For some reason this is showing I'm from California. That crazy!
