The fish tank is rather large, awkwardly placed and contains only a few less than spectacular fish. The staff at Webster Dental Care is wonderful. Absolutely Exceptional!! Everyone brings a positive attitude including the welcoming receptionist, x-ray technician, dental hygienist and even the Dentist. I've never felt more at ease during a dental appointment. I booked an appointment on the phone with a scheduler for a crown and teeth extraction, when we arrived they told me we'd now have to go to a oral surgeon. Rather than validate my frustrations, they were more focused on saving their own bottoms. Would not recommend this office, even though it's right by my house.

Those were some of the many questions lurking inside my head when I needed to find a new dentist. I honestly went to one just a few blocks from this office a week or two before coming here. I had my cleaning there and heard some rude comments by the dentist (not addressed to myself but to another patient). Still, that comment made me not want to go back there. Luckily, I searched around, found this place and I've been happy since! I started seeing Dr. Ahmad-Majeed in September initially for a second opinion about all the work my new/former dentist wanted to do after meeting for the first time. I explained to her my fear of going to the dentist and that if it's true that we truly do need to replace several fillings that I would appreciate it if we do it at a pace I am comfortable with. I also had a crown that supposedly needed replacing prior to coming here which she then confirmed to be correct but again, she let me choose when I would be comfortable enough to get the work done. She even offered some anxiety medication but I refused since my anxiety level is really not that unmanageable. She started doing some of the dental work that needed done from around October and finished everything by November. I know it sounds like a lot but they were 3 fillings that needed redone and a new crown. The procedures were spaced out nicely though so I didn't feel too anxious during every visit. The procedures went smoothly and Dr. Ahmad-Majeed had always made sure that I was comfortable during them and wasn't in any unbearable pain. She willingly gave me breaks when I needed them especially when she was working on my fillings. I came back today to get my 6-months cleaning and met Carolyn who is a dental hygienist at the office. She was also very friendly and kept asking me if I was doing okay throughout the cleaning process. I had one area which was sensitive and she quickly became aware of it from my wincing. She also explained why I have sensitivity issue on that area and offered some ways to alleviate the issue. Overall, I like this dental office and I've had a wonderful experience here. I know dental work can never truly be a wonderful experience but it can be made better by the attitude of the people doing the work. In this case, it's very true for me!

The office is clean and the staff is friendly and professional. I felt immediately at ease. Dr. Ahmad has since filled two cavities for me. I was very nervous after a difficult root canal experience in my previous city, but she was friendly, kind, and patient. The experience was surprisingly quick and I feel great. After posting my review, I received several calls from Eureka Dental Group. First was from the…read morePatient Account Specialist and she did help explain the new charges but was still unwilling to give me an appointment until I gave them a "reservation fee" of $120. She said my crown was there but I could not get it until I paid her for a reservation. While I did have the money, I was unwilling to pay to make an appointment. I think their policy of paying to make an appointment is ridiculous and unheard of. There are simply way too many dentists in Eureka to have to abide by such a draconian policy. The second call I received was from the Office Manager, and she did seem to care about my frustrations and did agree to a payment plan to address the additional (hidden/uninformed) charges. She also lowered the reservation fee from $120 to $100. She explained the reservation fee would be applied towards my procedure; that they employ this concept on longer procedures to help ensure patients show up for their appointments. Although I emphatically disagree with the reservation fee concept, I did pay it (crown hostage fee) so I could make an appointment. Personally, I think Eureka Dental Group should adopt a no-show policy in line with other doctors that charge a no-show fee rather than charging a reservation fee. A couple of days later I received a call from Dr. Wehrmeister. He indicated it was his day off and he was calling because his Office Manager had informed him of my concerns and he wanted to try an address them. Dr. Wehrmeister seemed to genuinely care about my issues with Eureka Dental Group and I was impressed he took the time to call me on his day off to talk thru my recent experiences. After about a 20-minute conversation I felt comfortable Eureka Dental Group valued me as a patient and cared for my satisfaction, despite their unwillingness to concede the reservation fee policy. I went on about my day and received a second call from Dr. Wehrmeister about 15-minutes following our previous conversation. To my surprise, Dr. Wehrmeister said he talked with his Office Manager and they felt the fair thing to do was to pick-up my out of pocket increase that was not communicated to me until after the fact. This was one of my biggest concerns/complaints and I feel they have adequately addressed this concern. Likewise, I am changing my review from 1-star to 4-stars and will give EDG another opportunity to retain my business. Thank you, Dr. Wehrmeister and Eureka Dental Group Team!!
