I finally got tired of treating my laptop like something out of Jurassic Park, so I decided to have a professional take a look. It took the gentleman at the counter about two minutes to figure out what was wrong with my computer, explain it to me, and get a solution started! Turns out I need an original Toshiba charger, and they could order one for me right then. (Don't buy replacement chargers, it's not worth it!)
