A week and half later I called tru lite and its was being held up. I would fallow up once a week cause chris sanchaz, the owners son (manager), wouldn't bother to update me. This went on for a month. Meanwhile there's and open whole in my living room with fireplace surrounding sitting there. All I wanted was updates so I too could inform my framers about when to finalize their work but only once at the 5th week did Chris send me an email the day before I called to learn it was on its way. The fireplace was missing a part and the one sent was the incorrect one, again I would have to be calling or going to shop to get updates. during the process I learned not to leave messages because they would not return my calls. I was never rude or upset during my communication. Finally the fireplace was installed And I asked Ruben, the owner, if he be able to turn it on and set up my logs. I be willing to pay him. he said he would get to it that day or the next. It's been 5 days he has been unresponsive. I'm at the end and so looking forward to finishing this installation. My plumber detected a tiny gas leak in the connections with some electronic device they use. I'm not taking about my gas line connection I mean inside the workings of the fireplace. Agaian Chris emailed me the usual response. We've been so busy but I'll get to it. I have programmed the remote, set up the brick panels and was about to conclude finish till gas leak. I'm a carpenter and done entire wiring in homes so I have some understanding of mechanics. I have purchased several fireplaces from perfection fireplace and they are highly responsive and thorough in executing purchase, installation and finalization of set up. unfortunately I need a fireplace size they had trouble getting for me so I went to tru lite. Y god that was a mistake and I feared it would be but decided to take my business to them. They were pretty much equal in price as everyone else just so unprofessional. I didnt want to repair that leak for fear of undermining the warranty even though I can fix it But we are tired of the mess in our family room. i paid For the fireplace around 3/5/25 and it's now 5/25 fireplace not done. Couple of years ago, we had the first of three companies come at take a look at our fireplace. That company couldn't figure anything out. The second company made multiple attempts to start it up and again it didn't work at all. Finally! Tru-Lite came to the rescue in April of 2022. First off, the technician figured out the exact problem. Also figured out what parts to order and in the process got the master bedroom fireplace to work as well. The biggest problem wasn't with Tru-Lite but the manufacturer of the part. It took them nearly 10 months to get the part made due to a parts shortage. Technology can be a fickle beast. Now I'm not the easiest person to deal with, especially when it comes to patience of getting something finished and fixed. To say the office manager was tolerant is an understatement. Always in contact and listening to me venting about how long could a part take to make. Needless to say the moment the part came in, they came over to the house and got the fireplace running. It's been nice during the cold spell to have heat in a room that is constantly colder then all the other rooms in the house. If fully recommended this company.

I took it back to them thinking that they would probably cover it or take something off when I got ready to pick it up. It was supposed to be two weeks and ended up being one month - they charge me $165 to change the carburetor again the carburetor was only about 30 bucks. They charge me over $130 in labor and parts. You would think that they would not charge me as much labor being that it hasn't even been a year since the carburetor was changed last time. Don't waste your time. My mistake, dropping it off to them a second time and I will never go back to them again. I had to insist they give me at least a 30 warranty in which they wrote in.

My husband recently bought a car from this dealership, and it has been a complete nightmare from day one. The car was not as advertised, arrived with a dent, and was missing the air compressor it claimed to include. We've had issue after issue ever since. They were responsible for issuing the license plate, and it took forever. We barely drove the car and immediately noticed more problems: The starter button was delayed, the windshield wiper fluid sprayer doesn't work at all, and just three weeks after purchase, the check engine light came on. A trusted mechanic confirmed transmission issues and said the battery needed replacement, explaining the starter issue. This is not just bad luck, it's clear the car was sold to us in defective condition. Even the mechanic we took it to said we should complain about being sold a lemon. To make things worse, the "forever warranty" that they constantly bring up covers very little. We attempted to reach out to the dealership to find a solution, and guess what? They GHOSTED us. The sales rep, MAURICIO, completely disappeared and showed zero accountability. The finance person and sales team were eager and quick when it came to closing the deal, but as soon as we needed help, SILENCE! The most shocking part? After my husband signed the financing agreement under a specific monthly payment, they sent him a new contract AFTER signing, claiming the bank required higher monthly payments. Completely MISLEADING and UNETHICAL! We are now out $1,800 for repairs on a car we've barely used -- while still making loan and insurance payments. When we finally spoke to the GM, all he agreed to help out with was the bad battery. He quickly retracted that offer when we asked for all relevant documents to be sent to us. They pulled a classic yo yo financing scam on us and all we wanted to do was speak to someone about our options. This was apparently too much for the GM so he won't even help with the battery now. There has been no accountability and NO HELP at all. This dealership lacks customer service, integrity, and basic respect for its customers. We are now filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and pursuing legal counsel for consumer protection. We are also requesting full documentation of the transaction. If you're thinking of buying a car here, DON'T. If something goes wrong with your vehicle, you will be completely on your own. This dealership will ignore you, avoid responsibility, and leave you with a defective car and a financial burden. Please, do yourself a favor and take your business to another local dealer.

I cannot quite put into words the turmoil we experienced with FixTMan, and the abject dismissal of our concerns we experienced with their company. The brief recommendation I can provide is - if you can find another highly rated specialized technician for the job you need taken care of, go with them (instead of FixTMan). If you can't, and as long as it is only one specific job you need done, then maybe hiring FixTMan is worth the risk. Here is what FixTMan does well: -Clear, consistent, and frequent communication prior to, and during, your scheduled appointment -Repeated requests to get you officially onto their schedule with a formal appointment -Our technician was skilled in the assembly and installation of ceiling fans (minus a wire that we recently discovered sticking out), but the other tasks we hired for...well, see below Here is what FixTMan does poorly: -Be wary of hiring FixTMan for multiple jobs. Their technicians do not necessarily have expertise in every type of "handyman" job - look for specialists for your various requests instead (this is more work with more appointments but hopefully it helps avoid FixTMan ruining your vision for your home) -For large jobs, FixTMan can and will lie to you about the number of technicians they will send for the job. They will then request you speak to their Quality Control department when you uncover the lie, Quality Control will then tell you the technician gets to decide whether or not to bring an assistant, and will try not to acknowledge that they lied to you -The warranty they tout as part of their quality guarantee does not actually provide real coverage - they can and will start to ignore you via messaging apps when you try to bring up your concerns  - FixTMan's technician installed the wrong cabinet pulls in the wrong area, despite clear labels my partner created for the technician on which cabinet pulls go in which area *and* despite being specifically instructed by my partner on the differences between the areas and the cabinet pulls. When we took this concern to Quality Control, they immediately informed us the cabinets (brand new, in a new home) would not be replaced, but instead they would try to seal the holes in the drawers/cabinets - we know from experience these type of seals are always visible and anything short of replacement for a mistake their technician made would be inappropriate - they repeatedly stated their "warranty" would not cover that -Quality Control made our situation with our technician (related to the concerns and issues documented above) worse by reducing the price of our job but then informing the technician who was still in our house that he would be paid less - this was very uncomfortable and clearly the technician was deeply offended by the price reduction. The Quality Control department of FixTMan handled the whole situation terribly (and I must say the price reduction they offered came nowhere near compensating for the permanent damage done to our planned design/layout of cabinet pulls in our home) -After the technician left, we discovered that there was a wire sticking out from one of the ceiling fan installations, and FixTMan refused to honor their 30 day warranty, and as noted above, refused to send out a QC technician (which they previously promised), instead ignoring our pleas for help and assistance - as an aside, after involving a third party, FixTman finally tried to respond, but at that point, their reliability and lack of commitment to customer service was clear and I opted not to re-engage in communication with them
