We visited just a few minutes before closing because my husband wanted to show me a parrot he really liked. Unfortunately, instead of feeling welcomed, we felt rushed out. The owner let us know they were closing, but the way it was expressed came across as unkind. It was disappointing, since we had those last three minutes before closing and only wanted to quickly enjoy the moment together. As we left, her husband was already waiting at the gate, which made it feel like we were being hurried out even more. I truly believe small businesses thrive on warmth and kindness, and I wish our experience had reflected that. Respectfully, we left with heavy hearts and don't see ourselves returning, though I sincerely hope others may have a better experience in the future. horrible pet shop i pray they get shut down all the pets are taken care of so badly and live in conditions they shouldn't live in i have a bearded dragon and went to get worms for it and saw they have 7 bearded dragons in the same enclosure when they should each have their own they also have no uv lamp which they need to survive and their enclosure is so sad and depressing i wanted to cry knowing my bearded dragon has everything it needs and a good home and these are on the verge of dying. not only are the bearded dragons badly taken care of but they have sooo many birds in very small cages its abuse!! i saw a big rooster squished sharing a cage with a chicken. I hope this review actually does something and saves ALL those poor animals especially those bearded dragons. read more

I bought a hamster from this pet shop, but she died just after a week because of infection. It is a hamster with hidden illness. They didn't let me to touch their hamsters, they will get whichever I like. It was a bad sign but I didn't realize until it happened. So STAY AWAY from this shop, they have very bad environment, poor caging. I should have checked review before I purchased, but now it's too late. Went in to buy worms for my chickens. The man working there (I'm assuming the owner) said the worms were 10 for $1; I asked for $10 i.e. 100 worms. When he handed me the bag it looked like there were only about 30 worms in the bag. It would take a while to count and put 100 worms in the bag, and he did not take a while putting them in the bag. I asked again if it was 10 for a $1 to double check and he said yes. When I questioned the number of worms in the bag he got upset, took the bag out of my hand and walked away. He went on to say that he was giving me more than what I asked for; clearly there wasn't more than 100 worms in the bag. I then told him I would just take what he gave me, he said "no if you think I am giving you less, no." So i left. Definitely did not need to become upset if there were clearly not 100 worms in the bag. Will not be returning. read more

This is one of the saddest places I've EVER stepped foot in. Literally 100s of birds stacked on top of each other in some maybe 3x3 cages there's about 50 birds in each Today I walked in at 2:46pm right after a group of 3 people , the group was able to pay and get helped, the man asked me neccesitas ayuada? Which means do you need help, I let him know I'm not very good with Spanish and than he told me he's closed and I got to leave, I was ready to get a couple fishes for my daughters. It was 2:48pm. Nobody closes at 248 randomly while you have a customer in the store . I felt very disrespected and I have a serious issue with this place now. DO NOT SUPPORT STORES WITH DISRESPECTFUL EMPLOYEES. This pet store needs to be reported as soon as possible. I went inside today looking to buy a fish. All the animals in there looked in tterrible condition. Some animals like the guinea pigs were in cramped cages. Sooner of the birds were face directly towards the sunlight. It smelled gRoss in there and yes it's a pet shop, but it definitely shouldn't smell like multiple things died in there!!! This shop is run down and shows no fare over the animals. It's honestly sad seeing all the animals inside packed so tightly together in the smallest cages. They mainly have birds and a lot of them looked sick. One of the cockatiels very clearly had a respiratory problem as it kept breathing with its beak open (an extremely suspicious behavior).The same cockatiel was surrounded by five others who looked just as ill, stuffed in a 2x1x1 cage all together. Nearly every animal was cramped with others in a cage that isn't even recommended for a single animal. That many animals together is a cesspool for disease and illness. Im not surprised others have said their animals have gotten sick after a while when they buy them from here. It seems there's 2 people who work there, a lady and man. The lady is nice, while the man is more rude and less mannered. I noticed him take out small rats by their tail out of the cage, which is the equivalent of dragging someone by the hair. Better to spend your money at a different store or an animal breeder, wherever animals are treated better. read more

Dont come here if you want good service. This used to be our go to pet shop but the Owner is just an asshole. He gets mad when tell him that the bird he sold you is sick. The receipt states that all live animals have a 24hr warranty. We bought two society finches thinking they were a pair and when we get home turns out they are both males. Okay we go back the next day to tell him that and he starts getting mad at us saying that this isnt a joke and we are just playing games. He sold us two males. He told us off and told us to not go back. He supposedly changed one male for a female right before we left that last time. We get home and guess what.. its another male. By then, we can't go back cuz he'll get mad. We tell a friend to exchange it for a female. She brings home one and guess what...another damn male. We were done by then. This was last year. Last week we decided to send someone else to buy a female and JACKPOT!! We finally got a female. But now we have a lonely male. So we send that same person the next day to get a female and we thought everything was well till he started singing. Now we have three males and one female. I bought a Dove Bird from them. It was beautiful female. She was a baby now 2 years old. Healthy and growing. I absolutely recommend this shop. I buy my bird food from here and cage for her which she doesn't have anymore. They have an great selection of animals supplies and animals. Beautiful birds I love the chickens.
