I took over a contract from a previous owner and it was in my Escrow. Azure pools completed the construction work a couple of weeks after I moved in. I paid for the water and they filled the pool without cleaning it, including cigarettes ends and 1/2 of mud and debris. The owner said don't worry it will clean itself. Of course that cost them a filter and the pool cleaner was missing his mind. They didn't make good the outside of the construction I had to pay a stucco guy. The didn't make good the garden area that was trampled. The HOA made Eddie the owner come and pick up all the building bricks etc. The power wash guy was sent after the pool was filled. Not good and he told me that he had told the crew to clean up all the cement splashes on the pool cage and spa. They didn't do that. The new lighting didn't work correctly that too from Mid November to End of Feb to fix. So many excuses while this was being done. The tiles were not straight (the original tiles which the same company installed are perfect). Also everything was stained. After many calls they did come to clean the tiles and did a good job. They replace maybe 10% of the tiles that were installed on a slope or uneven or not in line with coping. I called again. Julie who always answered and is very good promises to pass a message to the boss Eddie. Nothing, called again. Today we tried and Eddie called, threw Julie under the bus and said she never asked him to call until today. Anyway I said the timing is still a mess and nowhere near as good as your original job a year ago. He said I have no legal rights, and he isn't going to replace any tiles. He claimed he saw it and it looks great. I said BS. He then gets his panties in a bunch and said if I don't stop cursing he will put the phone down. I said I didn't curse no F bomb etc and saying his crazy statement was BS is not cursing. I offered for him to come and look at it with me and if a spirit level says I am wrong I'll shake his hand and say no more. He put the phone down and refused to answer my call. As you can see from a few photos the job is diabolical. I see the reply by the owner, a lot of which is inaccurate and mostly very untrue. The I have never reviewed the coping or tile with Eddie the owner ever. Throwing his employee under the bus shows the character of this guy and his 101 excuses and never owning up to anything shows his lack of integrity. The pictures tell the story, period. Anyone who is interested in researching this company for possible hiring are very welcome to come and view the "finished" product and the lack of quality Eddie adheres to. We contacted Azure Pool shortly after Ian just to see about updating our pool and pool area. Jason came and we shared where we wanted to go with it and walked things out. He couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and I had a lot of questions and ideas .One thing lead to another and a vision I had for quite a long time was coming together. This was the right time and the right company to create our now beautiful pool and deck.it is stunning and each step of the way way was well executed with attention to excellence. I could go on and on about the issues we've had but simply said, they have been extremely difficult to work with and Eddie the owner is very arrogant and treats his customers awful. The year warranty, forget about it, he makes things so difficult that you don't want to deal with him even though he claims he warrants his jobs. The whole staff was helpful and more importantly not pushy or tried to up sell everything. We had many options to choose from and everything turned out beautiful and in the time they said. It has been around 11 months since we had our entire pool, equipment and lanai installed by Azure. once we agreed on a price and signed contract. The Change orders started the day they showed up. As a business model they hold you ransom with the project. though we agreed to pay in segments before they proceed. It is the changes that they get you on. if you don't sign and pay for the change order Before they proceed. they stop work. Day #1 they said they made a mistake on not catching enough money for demolition due to concrete which was shown to the owner and salesman at time of estimate. when i approached the Salesman with the owner standing in front of me...the owner said nothing and the salesman stood firm to not proceed. when they put in their quote that they would cover 100 sq.ft. replacement for surfacing. After the assessment there was 65 sq. Ft....but pushed to replace the whole pool. again another change order and would not proceed until signed and paid in advance. Pipes were installed incorrectly. installed 14 vs 10. their Schooling is a joke and the pool equipment person is extremely rude Along not being knowledgeable with his own equipment.. The equipment person did not know how to assure the autofill is working. and said i just have to shut off power and reset when it does not work. LOL. Along with many other items though not substantial...(scrub your pool with a wire brush every day or two for a month on your own. can't swim for a month). though i get this. it was not explained At time of sale. What broke the camels back was this...when I called for a warranty item (45 days after the install was complete) that the unit was not working/heating they asked for my credit card And a charge of 250.00! I asked for what? They said if it is not was warranty they will charge the card And they would NOT come out to investigate?!?! Unless i missed something this was not explained. I would be happy to pay for an item If it was our issue...So I refuse to work with them again and hired another company to come out and review the install and engineering of the system Along with why the pool was not operating properly. Two pipes were install incorrectly. The piping had to be cut and reRouted Between the heaters. Next, the filter was too small and restricting the water flow to both heating units, and had to be sized one size larger. Along with wiring on the famous auto flow had to be rewired. Through out the project I felt that the owner would not take time to visit nor have the concerns or sincerity about taking care of the customer. Instead making sure He got his money Along with 12% more in change orders. I understand making sure you get paid as a company. But it is the culture he displays and business ethic of not taking accountability for your employees or Own actions. With the corrections to the items above (and the additional money that i spent to hire another company) in the past months...the pool works perfectly now! It heats properly, no pressure issues and automation works great. All the items were clearly Warranty And feel that Azure should have investigated and handled without wanting to take my credit card first. read more

Our pool, spa, paver deck, and pool equipment were all destroyed by the wind and water of Hurricane Ian. Additionally, the insurance carriers won't pay for any pool repair/restoration. With the amount of damage that we had, we decided to take this opportunity to update our water features, bull nose tile, railing, coping, tile, spa, spa spillway, table, pool concrete surface and finish coating, and well as our pool equipment. It was also mandatory to level and reset all the pavers on the pool patio, as they were falling in. Knowing this would be a big job and a big investment, we wanted the best company that could coordinate everything for us. Azure Pool was recommended to us, and we heard they are expensive. We believe "you get what you pay for" so we didn't hesitate to move forward with Azure. Through our experience, we can share that the owner, Eddie, is hands-on (multiple site visits to check progress and concerns along the way) and he holds his employees to a very high standard, and it seems all subcontractors are fully-responsible for their work and are off the hook only when the customer says it's good. We also found out that the Build App Azure employees use is the best way to document and communicate during the project stages. I'd love to say everything was perfect, but we all know that rarely/never happens. What I can say is Eddie made everything right, and in the end we think our pool is beautiful, fully-operational, and modernized. If we live in our home for a long time or we decide to sell, we feel our pool will be enjoyed for years to come and will increase the value of our home sale. Thank you Eddie and team!! read more

Just had our pool re-lined by Azure. Although I have not seen the finished product (we're snowbirds), I am already giving a 5 star rating, I fell that confident. My communication/interaction with Ed has been over the phone and email. I feel that if I have any concerns, they will be promptly addressed. I was put in contact with Azure by our pool maintenance service - for a review of the health of our 14 yr old pool. Not surprisingly we had a crack in our liner that let to the re-lining of our pool. Ed's appraisal was thorough and honest on all aspects of our pool and lanai. He thoroughly answered all questions that I had and I appreciate answers that address logic and long term solutions. Throughout the process there was great communication. So much so, that he called letting me know of questionable work by another vendor. In todays world of lackluster customer service, when you run into decent service it really stands out. Azure certainly stands out, and I would highly recommend them. read more
