They failed to clean our filters and place new ones as contracted. They broke the handle on our filter tank. It took several calls to get them out there, admit their fault and get it taken care of. I quit using them since early 2025. I just found fraudulent charges on my credit card every month of this year (2026) and several months of 2025 after I used them. I called in the middle of this week regarding the many fraudulent charges and asked to hear back from them asap regarding these charges. It is Friday evening and they have not called me back. There are over $2000 of unexplained charges from them on maintenance fees. Something is very wrong with this company. I quit using them because of the poor maintenance, high maintenance and incompetence of the people who answer the office phone.

I paid for the water and they filled the pool without cleaning it, including cigarettes ends and 1/2 of mud and debris. The owner said don't worry it will clean itself. Of course that cost them a filter and the pool cleaner was missing his mind. They didn't make good the outside of the construction I had to pay a stucco guy. The didn't make good the garden area that was trampled. The HOA made Eddie the owner come and pick up all the building bricks etc. The power wash guy was sent after the pool was filled. Not good and he told me that he had told the crew to clean up all the cement splashes on the pool cage and spa. They didn't do that. The new lighting didn't work correctly that too from Mid November to End of Feb to fix. So many excuses while this was being done. The tiles were not straight (the original tiles which the same company installed are perfect). Also everything was stained. After many calls they did come to clean the tiles and did a good job. They replace maybe 10% of the tiles that were installed on a slope or uneven or not in line with coping. I called again. Julie who always answered and is very good promises to pass a message to the boss Eddie. Nothing, called again. Today we tried and Eddie called, threw Julie under the bus and said she never asked him to call until today. Anyway I said the timing is still a mess and nowhere near as good as your original job a year ago. He said I have no legal rights, and he isn't going to replace any tiles. He claimed he saw it and it looks great. I said BS. He then gets his panties in a bunch and said if I don't stop cursing he will put the phone down. I said I didn't curse no F bomb etc and saying his crazy statement was BS is not cursing. I offered for him to come and look at it with me and if a spirit level says I am wrong I'll shake his hand and say no more. He put the phone down and refused to answer my call. As you can see from a few photos the job is diabolical. I see the reply by the owner, a lot of which is inaccurate and mostly very untrue. The I have never reviewed the coping or tile with Eddie the owner ever. Throwing his employee under the bus shows the character of this guy and his 101 excuses and never owning up to anything shows his lack of integrity. The pictures tell the story, period. Anyone who is interested in researching this company for possible hiring are very welcome to come and view the "finished" product and the lack of quality Eddie adheres to. I live in Estero and any time is convenient. I am not going to get in to a tit for tat with words, I don't need to as the pictures tell a thousand words.

The employees on site were always respectful of my family and the property. The only delay we had was due to two hurricanes. Work was right on time as they described to me Dave was our on-site foreman, and he was very helpful all the time. The quality of the work has been exceptional and we have had no problems with our pool or pool cage. Our pool cage actually made it through the second hurricane. Timing just worked out that way. Diane was always extremely helpful when I had any questions concerning the project. Chris was very knowledgeable when she was explaining the pool construction process and picking out the colors for the deck and the pool. The price of the pool was somewhat comparable to other quality pool companies in Lee County. Remember you get what you pay for and our pool is high-quality with high-quality materials. I would recommend San Juan Pools if you're looking to build in Lee County.
