They're known for creatively risky craft cocktails and their thick burgers, so we dove into both, including bacon/cheese burgers and the filthy martini ($18, gin with sardine brine and blue-cheese-stuffed olives!) and the Chupa Mi Chili ($20 Sotol, chili syrup, crema, bitters). She loved the salty/bitter martini (not so much me Lol) and I really liked my Chupa, although about half foamed out of the glass (see vid). The burgers were excellent as were both the roasted veggie and shoestring fries. It was empty when we walked in around 7/7:30 but by 9p it was approaching half full... not bad for a Tuesday night. It's a relatively small space, with a short bar area and most of the interior devoted to pub-height tables with chairs. There are some elevated booths around the back and side walls that look like good places for groups. There's an outdoor area too - pretty empty on this evening because of the cold, but it provides a place for smokers to do their thing. I was at the bar and service was quick there, but it looked like that was the case everywhere - I didn't see anyone hurting for drinks and there was plenty of staff for the size of the place and the crowd. Overall, I'd recommend it - though if you're going for the music, plan for a late night!

I tried speaking to him again as he was speaking to his colleague and he was talking about me when I approached him to ask him his name and tried explaining that I didn't have an attitude he told me to leave. That's really funny because my sister (20F) and I were there last week on a Saturday enjoying our time singing our hearts out. No liquor involved. My family has supported duets for our time in El Paso but unfortunately we cannot recommend anyone go who has friends that are under 21. Since we were the only people in the bar at 7pm I would assume that regardless of the rule, they'd at least want our business.
