Really great time there! Food was very good, drinks were yummy. Burgers were huge, I could not finish it but it was really good. Staff were nice and friendly and took care of us well. When we arrived the music was loud and gave a good vibe. We sat quickly with a group of 6. Server came quick with waters and then checked back for our orders. Wasn't busy then realized, they close in an hour. Server made suggestions and explained everything clearly. We ordered and everything came out within 20 min. Food was AMAZING. Came in here for dinner and I'm happy to report it was a great experience! The place was super clean and very new looking, I enjoyed all the wall art they had because it was all music themed. Speaking of music, every song they had on was a great song, I really enjoyed the music! I was torn between tacos and a burger and ended up with the western burger.....which was seriously amazing. You get a normal burger but then they add the speciality on top of the burger patty, so it's a huge burger (the western had brisket on top, so good!). This was my ceremonial "burger after a marathon" and it didn't disappoint! It wasn't too busy for a Saturday at 6pm and our service was spot-on. The place wasn't too loud, but the classic rock videos that were being shown were WONDERFUL! I had a bacon burger with added green chilies, but that was an add on. It's a little surprising that there isn't a green chili-type burger as an official option. I started with an Old Fashioned before my beer which was pretty standard. Walking DT after my kids art show, we made our way to rockstar. I already knew what I wanted, the cherry habanero wings. Saturday afternoon and it wasn't packed, immediately sat down. Ordered my wings with a side of sweet potato fries and topped it off with cold glass of dos xx. Wings came out not long after, they were steamy. I bit into them and they were hot and crispy, real juicy. The sauce was good not too hot, but sweet and tart. They were enough to make me sweat on my head. It was a good meal. One of my new favorite burger places in town! I heard about Rockstar from a coworker and was very happy he shared, after my first visit. Grabbed a seat at the bar, where Shyanne was very attentive & helpful. I asked for recommendations and she pointed out a couple burger options and a couple chicken sandwich options, but she mentioned that the Rolling Stone Burger was her personal favorite so I opted to start there. Delicious! Great from the top bun to the bottom bun! Super tasty, although a little messy. The seasoned waffle fries were crispy and great too. Rockstar will definitely be in my regular rotation now. I ended up ordering the Fried Fish Tacos and I have to say, they were the best I've had in El Paso so far. 2/3 of the Tacos were fluffy and amazing (the last one had almost no fish and all breading). It came served on what can at best be considered a wide hot dog bun, slightly toasted to make it less stale. The brisket was just bad. She admitted it wasn't smoked there, and that was obvious, but it could be good without that. It wasn't. Soaked in a way too sweet generic BBQ sauce and "garnished" with some wafer thin food service pickle slices, I actually didn't finish it, and I was hungry and love BBQ. I found my favorite El Paso burger so far at Rockstar Burger Bar. We were down the street at the Slow and Roll show at the El Paso Museum of History and I kept getting messenger coupons from the place so I figured I'd try them out. The place is nice and bright, the waitress was super sweet. When I inquired about the coupons she said they stopped honoring it in July, and I asked them to stop sending me the coupon remainders and she said she'll tell the manager and was super apologetic. They didn't have any brisket, pork, or bacon and she was also very embarrassed but I get there are supply issues so we ordered the Blues burger with an over easy egg instead of bacon. We also got the wings with bbq and buffalo sauce. The bbq sauce was so good and tangy. It was on the burger as well as the most decadent caramelized onion jam! The buns held everything and didn't fall apart even with the eggs yolk dripping. The burger was medium as we asked, and it was definitely hand ground meat. The party was juicy and seared well. Hubby said it best: "when it's a good burger, the ingredients just mesh well together and it just works." This was an excellent burger. The wings were really meaty and tasted like pre-breaded and precooked wings, I saw a microwave in the kitchen and figured they just reheated it vs frying. They were super soaked with the sauces though and that was the saving grace, the sauces were good. The ranch was very bland but the veggies seemed fresh. We enjoyed our drinks as well, we ordered a mojito and it was very strong. The Pina Colada tasted like ice cream with a punch of liquor. Walking around downtown today and stumbled across Rockstar. Plenty of seating. There are several televisions with sports programming. There is also an internet jukebox. Menu had specialty drinks along with craft and regular beers. The gentleman behind the bar was very friendly and gave us the 411 on the establishment and upcoming events. The female bartender was also friendly. We took his advice and paid for tickets to the Halloween Bar Crawl. There was a Halloween theme going on. Music playing in the background was the correct volume. Easy to still have a conversation. The food was very good overall, but I want to give a special shoutout to the onion rings. They were absolutely perfect. The wings were crispy and juicy at the same time with cherry habanero sauce on the side. Inside was a little warm with some ceiling fans and not strong AC. I believe bathrooms are one person per men and women's which is a bit small. Food was great! I had the brisket tacos and they were really good! Everyone else got the wings. Even though none of them finished the wings they seemed to like them. Wow! Delicious! Flavorful! Creative! Are words to describe these burgers. The place is a fun ambiance. They do have theme nights, live music nights. My wife and I had it for lunch during the week because we were walking distance from a meeting so didn't have to fuss with parking. (That's the only bad part) I had the West Texas Burger. It has brisket and it was soo good. I'm always picky with my brisket (hate when it has fat) and this one was good. They also don't mind when you want to change up the burger. I ordered it with regular fries and tried the Mac-n-cheese, pretty good. I didn't want the burger to end! My wife ordered the philly steak sandwich, and it was good. Meat had good flavor.
