I've gotta be brutally honest here...not only did I locate the frustratingly elusive handful of car parts through these guys and walk out of their establishment 110% satisfied, but it was through the dedicated efforts of this very efficient crew of knowledgeable employees, who made possible the completion of an ongoing project of mine which was very VERY important to me. To say these guys went out of their way to see to it that I left their facility a satisfied customer is about the biggest understatement. Did they do it for the accolades?....no. Do they do it just because they HAVE to be there?? I sincerely doubt it. The impression I got from the very beginning of my interraction with the folks here at this business, was one that reminded me of that old, played-out saying that one rarely hears today...that being, "the customer is ALWAYS right!" I couldn't be more humbled to say that where I lacked the knowledge and carelessly brutalized the terminology regarding the names of various car parts, and even the true function of many of the systems that make up an automobile, the guys at this B&B establishment knew exactly what it was I was so crudely attempting to convey. Does anybody remember hearing that back in the day?? I do, and I remember when that outdated statement used to be true, once upon a time! Welk, fortunately, so do these guys over at B&B. I mean, without this team of professionals to better guide me, with my very limited knowledge, I'm sure I would still be surfing the net, making phone calls, and taking unecessary long drives just to be met with the frequent disappointment I had almost become accustomed to before I stumbled upon these guys. I was referred to this place from a good friend of mine who does not hesitate to take the 70+ mile drive out here to Twentynine Palms to do business with these guys. I thought he was nuts but I wouldnt expect just anybody to understand what I'm saying here just from reading the ramblings of some stranger who left a comment on the internet. It's kind of one of those things that one just needs to experience to fully grasp. I promised the boys, especially you Mike, that I would put out a review to reflect my experience there at your shop months and months ago and i apologize for barely getting to it almost a year later. Well, the fact that even after all this time, the superior service & quality, efficiency and sheer honesty of Mike and his crew still stands out in my mind. So much so that it still eats away at my conscience every other night as I realize that I have yet to take the time to write this review to show the boys over at B&B just how much all their coordinated efforts are appreciated. Would literally give negative stars if possible. Found part online from them posted at 600. I call to set confirm available they said 650. I mention its posted online for 600 he said call back in an hour he will double check listing. Call back to him not remembering I called then when explaining he told me to call back he rudely says we don't have it and hangs up immediately. I call back to say if its about price I would be willing to pay more since our original phone call they gave me a price of 650 when I gave them the lot number didnt sound like they didnt have it then. But he answers and very rudely says we don't f**king have it and hangs up immediately again. I would save your time and not even bother with this place. Yikes. Very poor service. Horrible communication skills. Will not "send their guys out" for proof of part or even to check the color. Went to B&B for a ford ranger transmission the part didn't work owner of place was extremely helpful and was very hassle free on getting money back for the transmission you can't expect much it's a gamble getting transmission and engines from salvage yard highly nice owner and would definitely get my business again. read more

Gotta be thick skinned and speak up or just walk in to talk to mike for parts. This place has A LOT of used vehicle parts for pretty much any vehicle. It's a fun place to do a walk thru and visit before spending an arm n a leg elsewhere! I've purchased car parts that were half the price and almost brand new condition from this facility. No sissy's allowed here so make sure you bring your big girl pants and talk clearly to the gentleman at the desk because he deals with shady tweakers a lot it seems like so they don't put up with any bullcrap. 10 stars across the board for B and B Auto! Oh they have excellent prices on new tires, make sure you get the correct size when ordering them, i ordered mine and they received them next day! Mike and Stacy are the nicest people I have ever met. I had to fly in from Washington to pick up my son's truck. They really went out of their way to help me even giving me a ride to their tow yard, and arranging a way for me to pay the city fee, so I didn't have to stay longer. They illegally towed my vehicle while I was out of town on private property they didn't even give me a reason why it was towed and changed their story multiple times supposedly the person who called them to have my vehicle towed has a number that is disconnected. I am guessing this is the place when cops tow your car for any reason out in 29 Palms...Even companies out in LA are better than this company. I have never heard/ seen unprofessionalism from a company like this one. Beware and be careful with this company, I would suggest taking your car out of here (if it was towed) as fast as possible due to them stripping your car out of everything. I'm talking about coolant, oil, making dents in your window making them not able to close properly, stealing valuables inside, emptying gas from the tank (money, vapes, wallets etc.) anything that helps and makes your car run. And secondly the folks who run the place seem like they're high on something and obviously working under the influence. I feel like this place needs to be investigated more than anything by the cops who bring the cars here, especially driving their trucks under the influence. The front desk were utilizing the vapes they found in the car so obviously they do not care to catch something from someone else. This place makes me absolutely furious. My boyfriend got his car towed, which was entirely his fault for parking where he shouldn't have, so I am not blaming B & B for that. However, they did so much damage to his car that he got TWO WEEKS prior at the dealership. Upon arriving at this disgusting and disorganized mess of a "business," Mike claimed that he did not have the car on the lot. After arguing and some phone calls, he had finally found the car so he called around his employees to find the keys... but it was towed, and there was no way B & B had the keys, we did. Which we explained multiple times... Since my boyfriend had just bought the car two weeks ago, none of the titles were switched over to his name officially, so he needed the temporary proof of registration, which was in the glove box. Well, the employee claimed it wasn't there, and came over to drive us to the car almost 20 minutes later. When we first opened it up, the car looked like it had been ransacked... every bag was opened and gone through, all the consoles and pockets were torn apart... so violating. After finding the registration RIGHT WHERE WE SAID IT WAS, we paid the fee and left. Over the next day, his tire light came on, his brakes felt loose, he noticed his sunglasses and money were stolen, and the passenger window doesn't shut all the way and leaks water into the car. To say I absolutely hate this place is an understatement. These guys are so incredibly rude and unprofessional. Makes me sick to my stomach they can scam someone like this. read more

Was in the area and was interested in a Datsun 280Z three months ago. Mike Calvert told me he was to get a key made for the ignition. I had been stopping into the office a couple times a week checking on the status. He wrote down my phone number and told me he would give me a call. He told me he was saving the car for me. I went there today and the car was gone. I asked what happened to it. He said he sold it. I told him I've been coming back and forth here for three months and you sold it on me? Absolutely pathetic rating. Unfortunately I I got t boned and rolled over in my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo in 29 Palms. Rescue services used the Jaws of life to get me out and then take me to hospital. B & B was summoned by the sheriff to collect my Jeep. The very next day I came by to collect my belongings. Most of my camera gear was there (come to find out police had done an inventory). I went to the vehicle and found my 'man purse'/go bag, which had been on the passenger seat, all the way in the back unzipped with many of the credit cards spread all over. All the of cash - well over $500.00 was missing. The owner said that the police most likely took it. Bull manure! I then asked about my mobile phone - a high end Samsung. He told me that there was no cell phone, that if there was it most likely fell out during the accident. He then mentioned that it was not on the inventory (which I did not know about at that time). He was quite sarcastic in showing me the inventory when I requested it. There was my cell phone listed. He still insisted that he did not have it. I was persistant....he finally rang someone who just so happened to locate it. About a half an hour later someone else showed up with it at my residence. I also carry a binder which has restaurant gift cards (I travel a lot). Gone were most of the gift cards.....along with some of my valued Turkish credentials that I had as souveniers. A very crooked, dishonest, deceitful business. They should have been protecting my property .... instead they had a field day and stole well over $ 500.00 in cash, more in gift cards, and other things that were not their's to take. They should be banned (again to my understanding) from being the ones called in after such an accident. read more

This place is a joke. Don't take your cars here. They offer you 1500 for your car, running or not. You explain exactly what is wrong with it and they still offer you 1500.00. You bring it in and they give you a check for 75.00. They are con artists and liars. It doesn't matter what they tell you on the phone. When you get your car there the most they'll give you is 75.00. Their awful people. We took two cars there in one day and had to rent a trailer for them as we told them they weren't running. They were both worth much more than 75 even with the problems.
