Insurance fraud! Please do not use Cobbs Body Shop! They steal from Young Marines that are serving our country that don't make a lot. We took 2023 car there to be fixed. Dropped it off the day they told us too. They had it from 9/29-11/22/2025 took it all apart to give GEICO an estimate. They received check and cashed it on 11/5/2025 for $4209.78 never fixed car. Mind you on estimate said 4 days to fix and exhausted rental allowance. I ask them to put car back together with broken parts she said no we don't do that. My son paid 2 weeks out of pocket for rental. Finally we had to call local police and they advised my son to make them put parts back on car and take it back. They refuse to call us back and give us the $4209.78 back. It's heartbreaking for my son who has had his own insurance for 10 yrs. Makes his first claim and Cobbs did this. He has had to pay out of his pocket to fix his car back home. GEICO did not issue another check to us either to date. Sad situation all around. Thank you Christina and Kevin for terrible service. I have all the proof on paper they are insurance frauds. read more

These guys are awesome. Really kind, honest people. Willing to help me out with an odd job that other places wouldn't do. I needed a part fabricated for a radiator upgrade and Dan did it. He also installed the radiator, which wound up being a very involved job because one of the lower mounts had been pushed in by a minor accident with the previous owner. My door hasn't closed properly for quite some time. I passed by Cobb's and thought "why don't I stop and see if they can help". My door needed a new hinge. He said that he could order the part for $150, but he recommended that I pop over to the junkyard where I could find it for $25. I did just that. They did awesome job swapping out the hinges and making my door close properly again. Had I seen the Trump sticker on the door sooner, I wouldn't have given them my business. I'm VERY skeptical of pretty much everything in this miserable little city...ESPECIALLY automotive services. Well...I took my 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo to this place because a previous owner had jacked the car up by the radiator support causing the hood to fit improperly. Common thing in the Z32 world. They did an EXCELLENT job pulling the radiator support back down and re-positioning the hood AND only charged $125. Very nice. I recommend these guys. read more

I brought two pieces of rusted metal that I needed fixed to this shop. They said that they would do it by the end of the week and that they would call me when they were done. I called them when they didn't call me after the first week. They said they were too busy but they'd get to it next week. I was annoyed but said "alright fine". I called them at the end of the next week and they said "sorry, our guy is out with Covid". I knew they couldn't control that so I was fine with it. At the end of the third week, I asked them if they were done. They said "we're almost there, we put the metal in a vice". I said "really? In three weeks, all you have done is put them in a vice?". They said "yeah, it'll be done next week". I begrudgingly agreed and then at the start of the fourth week I called and they said they were DONE". I then went to their location and one of the men wasn't there. I asked to see the pieces and the guy said I'd have to wait for the other guy to get back. I did, and then when I went up to him, I said I'm the one with the metal pieces from my truck roof. He said, "oh yeah?" Then he walked into his shop and pulled my pieces of metal out, exactly as I had left them four weeks earlier. "I said why haven't you done anything? You said they were done." He said, you see all these vehicles around me? I don't have time for this." I said, "what do you mean you don't have time? You've had four weeks and we agreed that I'd pay you $150 for this!." I took my metal pieces and walked away. I've never experienced a business as unprofessional as this. read more

I cannot say enough POSITIVE things about this body shop and especially the staff!! My young daughter and her family lived across the US and Jerry and his sons made sure that they were treated like family and that their cars were repaired and taken care of, along with dealing with the insurance companies for us!! Seems like they forgot the details. The hoses for the window washer were hanging down, disconnected, the headlight that was replaced was not attached firmly and not flush with the body of the car. To top it off, after 3 months we are starting to see defects in their paint. read more

I brought in my Van to Cobbs Shop The Van had some damage i finally wanted to get repaired so i can travel from 29 Palms Base to Pendleton to visit my Husband, Meeting with Jerry (owner), he took the time to evaluate my car underneath and came to find out my car was not structually safe and was a major driving Hazard, Posed a tragic threat if i were to get rear ended. I have 3 kids and i couldn't imagine driving a vehicle that posed a threat to our family. I am Truly grateful to this man. He could have fixed the exterior part of our vehicle and charged us thousands of dollars but he showed integrity and honesty and told us the van was not worth the repairs.!!! My 2007 Lincoln MKZ's inside, driver side door handle had snapped and needed to be replaced (so I could stop rolling down my window and opening my car door from the outside! ha). While calling around for quotes, I called Cobb's Body Shop and provided them with my vehicle's VIN number to give me a quote on the part and labor --- Total quote with taxes = $80.51. The quotes everywhere else were about $230-$300! Cobb's called and received the door handle and the next day it was there. I arrived to the shop, which was very simple and a little messy (only reason I didn't give it 5 stars), but the technicians were very friendly and completed the work in about 40 minutes. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone seeking a fair price! read more

When it comes to my car, I want to know that the shop I'm taking it to will go above and beyond and respect my car as their own. At Cobb's I had such experience. I never had to question where my car was in the repair process. They left me out of the equation as far as dealing with the insurance company and I got my car back in a timely manner. After dropping our vehicle off on Monday, we were told it would only take 3-4 days... Now it's Saturday and we haven't heard anything. Unfortunately, we didn't realize they were closed on the weekend without a way to contact them. They went out of their way to fix my bumper, didn't try to over charge...good guys. Hard to find these days.

So I found myself on the side of the road with a flat tire. My husband was out of town on a training and I had no one to call. I look in the back of the cab to find that my husband has no wrench and no jack in his truck! I see Cobb's body shop up ahead and set out to ask for help. I spoke with the owner and he found himself in a situation where he had no choice but to help me :) Albeit reluctantly, he stuck with me and helped me change my flat. After several trips back and forth to my truck and his shop, a tow to his shop and an hour and a half later, he and his technician ended up having to CUT the spare tire off my husbands truck because the spare tire hold was so rusted and corroded! After ALL of that, especially in the heat, they were still pleasant and the technician who helped was very kind and informative. 75 bucks was what they charged and I know,if I would have went to any other place, they would have run me for my money.Thank goodness for men like these fellows to help us ladies out! read more
