So I did what any other home owner would do panic and call the realtor, however there was nothing she could do this was all in my hands now. Searching for affordable prices I ran into an add on a home improvement magazine, this company would finance and fix my system. I was excited but all this came with a large price about 6,000 dollars. To say the least they let me down. My daughter in law text me the home advisor website link to take a look. That's when I found the perfect company to fix my air conditioner. I called them on a Saturday and that same day they came to see my system Maurice was my technician he was excellent he let me know everything that was wrong with it. He explained that it was only one part that needed to be replaced good thing it was under warranty. The company ordered the part for me and on Wednesday they were at my home fixing the air conditioner. They only charged me for the labor, they stuck to their word on their estimate from the beginning. This is my second time using this company and I don't…read moreknow what happened between my first experience and this recent one but it's been a nightmare. A few days after the installation I came home from work and my socks were getting wet in the hall where the air handler is located. I open the door to the space where it is and notice that the drain was NOT installed and the water was just running down on the slab and seeping under the wall and under my wood flooring. The flooring has already started to warp. I contacted them and they sent a couple guys out to correct it. I asked about the flooring being covered by them and they told me they have no idea and I needed to contact the office. I did and to this day no response. After the correction of the non installed drain I thought it would be rectified however the 2nd team of tech installed the drain pipe running uphill so nothing was going into the outlet pipe in the slab and again the water was running out of the pan onto the floor. I am no HVAC tech but I ran the PVC drain pipe out the door of the air handler into a LOWE'S bucket that I have to dump out a few times a day. So to sum it all up I am out a couple thousand dollars on flooring so far and have a bucket in my hallway to keep from flooding my house again. Today I found out from the building code folks that a permit was never pulled when my HVAC was replaced and now the fine for no permit is on me. I would NOT recommend them from this experience and it's obvious that I'm not going to be reimbursed for their shoddy work and flooding my home TWICE. One VERY unhappy customer. They were suppose to clean my air ducts, the mold out the AC and check for a leake, in which they advised I didn't have a leake and clearly I did. The technician came out and rushed through the job(I even called right after he left to advise that the job was rushed) Fast forward two weeks, my homeowner insurance has someone to come out to inspect as we still couldn't identify where the mold was, come to find out they removed my filter from, my AC unit and didn't replace it nor did they advise that another one was needed. I called and they came back out a week later and then determined that the technician did not clean under my unit as it was still dirty. from that point customer service has been horrible with the manager saying "WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES". They sent another crew out and they supposedly recleaned the unit. I could hear the manager call the technician on the phone asking was he on speaker phone and the tech said no noone is out here, WRONG; my outside camera was out there,, apparently he didn't have nice things to say about mte but that's fine. I called our regular provider, Jenkins, and got an answering service. They couldnt tell me if anyone was available to come today or tomorrow, but could take my message down. Then I looked up FL Air Flow Heating & Air and called them. An employee answered, followed up by text for my information and had someone at my house 4 hrs later. The team were polite, quickly applied pressure to push out the clog, and were gone in a matter of 15min or so. Price seemed fair for emergency service. There are few polite words one can find to describe Thompson Electric, their shoddy work,…read moredestruction to personal property with impunity, inability to show up, repeated lies and screaming from the owner. We will be formally reporting this deeply unsafe and fraudulent work to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation and State Attorney General's Office. Thompson was hired to run one wire from breakers already installed for the purpose (Marked "Gate" as shown to the humans who arrived claiming to be electricians) to a gate. After weeks of tearing up our yard with an unguided ditch witch from a separate side of the house, thousands of dollars in irrigation damage, not showing for random weeks at a time or leaving equipment in our driveway without any communication, and tying into breakers already being used for a different purpose - this crew cobbled together a bunch of wire using wire ties that aren't even to code indoors let alone safe in a water. So...when the jumped wire got some water, you don't need to be an electrical engineer (tho I have been trained) to know it ain't gonna work. (P.S. Pictures to prove it). In fact, when Fred (thats the owner who calls and screams at you even when you're pleading for him to calm down) was made aware of this and the non-functioning electric we overpaid for, he said that we were "Monday morning quarterbacking" and when told their work wouldn't pass code (because he needed to be educated that water and electric don't work well together) he said that it *would* if they went out to our property and fixed that. Ummm...yes...maybe? Still, Fred says it's oir fault because...they didn't bid the project right? Bid seems sufficient, workmanship and general decency, not so much. And if their guys did what we paid them to do, perhaps we would have electric that works rather than a completely torn up yard, ongoing irrigation repairs, and out thousands of dollars without functioning electric lile we paid for. My husband hired these guys so when Fred or whoever comes on here to claim this isn't a real review 1. It's under Brian and 2. We have pictures. Lots of pictures, security footage, and documentation to present to the Department. Also, just look at how they harass any criticis. What a shameful way to run a business. To think that these guys are running electric in our schools (According to their website)?! I now know this "business" is on several major companies' no hire list in town for a reason, FYI.
