Had John from Von's Heating & Air come out on Thursday to do a scheduled maintenance on our unit. Which we desperately needed since we knew we had a clogged drip line. He was prompt, knowledgeable and very professional. After he preformed his service and unclogged our line, he went over everything he did and showed pictures to explain in detail. Thanks again, Von's Heating and Air. Von's has been servicing our A/C for the last couple years. Their repair service is excellent. Excellent communication, on time and professional staff. Woke one morning and the A/C quit working. Tech diagnosed, which confirmed my diagnoses of a bad blower motor. Not worth repairing. Diagnoses at 11:00 am, repair estimate in 30 minutes, an estimate for new system in one hour, contract signed by 3:00 pm, the new system installed by 2:00 pm the next day. This company has failed to show up for appointments multiple times, and left people in terrible situations. I used to use this company for 10 years but they were bought out by a company from out of state and they have consistently failed to provide the same reliable and competent service I came to know. I will never use them again, I highly recommend you not trust them to do the work or do it right. I have been using Von's for many years here in Middleburg, Fl. and have always trusted them and there Tech. Rep's, but last year 2023 when i had my A/C serviced. The Tech. Rep. told me I needed to install an UV light in my unit to stop the algae grown that was growing in my unit. I ask him how much to install the light and he quoted me $1000.00! I went online and found the same light and installed it myself for $125.00! So I will NOT BE USING VON'S to service to service my unit again. I guess they wanting their customers to pay for all of their NEW TRUCKS and the building they moved to! read more

I really hate writing bad reviews and try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I have been a customer of Vons since 2018 when he replaced my A/C unit. I was told by one tech that Von actually sold this company off (explains the fancy vans and a different tech with every call) and that is why their prices have increased. Unfortunately their work ethics and quality of work has decreased. I'm not sure if they are subcontracting the work to different people under the company name or they are offering commission for sales now but the tech that came to do my tune-up as well as the one who fixed my refrigerant line last year was so consumed by trying to upsell me a light for my AC unit that cost a whopping $1700 because I "have a mold problem" in my unit that according to him was going to be 10 times worse in 30 days even though that mold spot has been growing there for 4 years and is the size of a quarter. The same exact spiel the tech last year gave me about the mold growing "out of control" in 30 days when he saw the same quarter size mold spot. lol I also caught the second tech in a lie. First he was telling me how he put the lights in his AC at his house then slipped up and said something about the apartment complex he lives in. So now, they approach everyone like they are stupid as well. I truly miss the old Vons Heating & Air. read more

We paid over $10,000 for a new A/C unit through Von's. The next morning, thr system is totally dead and non-functioning. Extremely frustrating. Another day of roasting temperatures in the house. Hopefully, they'll come out soon to fix it. I'll consider changing my overall review of the business if they can resolve it quickly, but for right now, I'm very upset after all that $$$. read more

Have used this company 4 times now, first two were repairs after my heat went out and had a great experience, every company ends up with a bad egg at times, the 3rd tech visit did nothing they were supposed to clean/inspect system and tried to upsell my wife while I wasn't home on expensive repairs that didn't need to be done, 4th tech Donovan made up for it and made a thorough cleaning/inspection of my AC was honest and up front and had a good attitude, showed me a capacitor that wasn't reading correctly (with proof) ended up having it replaced and they took care of the warranty end for me will use them again in the future. read more
