Camped here last winter with a big group, maybe 15 people. Obviously we had a few cabins not just one, they each slept about 3-4 ppl. Pros: ~It was very affordable (Great if you're just sleeping here and not hanging out) ~Better alternative to a tent ~Cute cozy little cabins with a porch and swing ~TV inside ~Firepits and grills ~Heat works good in the winter Cons: ~Very Small ~Bathrooms are far away and not the cleanest I have been to some other KOA campgrounds and the cabins had bathrooms. Maybe they offered that here and we just had a smaller one (I didn't book it), but I did not appreciate having to walk to the bathroom in 30 degree temperatures, I especially the walk back after taking a shower. Burrr!

This place is a dump. No staff seen except two lady's sitting in office. Looks like no lawn or maintenance has been done for years.

When we first were looking to stay in the mountains around Chattanooga we narrowed our places down…read moreto: Cabin a place that allows dogs a place that would be very clean and Awesome all around Even though we planned and picked based on this criteria, I was still more than happy to find that we hit it perfect with the Hidden Hills Farm cabin. We checked in in the middle of the night, so we couldn't see much. We knew we had to cross a new bridge and when we did we could make the outline of the cabin, which we already knew was on the smaller size. When we walked in and soaked the place up it seems so much larger inside. The space was so efficiently built that there was a living room, full kitchen and the sleeping area upstairs. By knows means is it Ginormous though. We slept great and the next morning we were treated to the view of horses, sheep, chicken and goats in the pasture back beyond the bridge and field we came in from. We explored the farm over the next couple days and the mountains too. But usually we were happy to come back, sit on the porch and talk or read a book or watch a movie at one point. My dog loved the area and the cabin. He is crate trained and seemed to think of the cabin as one big crate for his "pack". Although I like to mix it up when traveling, I think we may end up staying at the cabin again.

Another wonderful experience , riding Rocky and Wilson as my trail guide…read more. This is my second ride at the farm and both experiences have been a delight. The horses are responsive, well behaved and such a pleasure to ride. Can't wait to go back a d meet another horse.

When we decided to leave someone stopped us on the way out and complained that we drove over a hose that was emptying soapy water across the road. There is a 2 lane paved road leading to the location, you do NOT need an SUV, it's a totally normal road. The driveway is very steep as are almost all driveways here as we are in the mountains. There is a large gravel road/dam that you drive across to get to their location. Yes there was some boat wake maybe 5 xs the entire trip we were passed by a boat (and it's the week of the 4th of July) no one tipped, the kids loved riding the wake. There was a nice little picnic area and we waited here for the guide approximately ten minutes as we were instructed by our confirmation text when booking. The life jackets are in good condition and hanging on a clothesline. I have no idea if they sanitize them because I didn't ask. The bathroom is a little yard barn deal with a flushing toilet and shower and it was immaculate. It does have a curtain for a door but I was completely concealed. It is different than other kayaking places because there's not much of a current my 12-year-old went and was able to paddle up and downstream without any issue. It was a nice day, reasonably priced and met our expectations. Pros Incredibly beautiful Easy to find Friendly staff Reasonably priced A bit of a workout paddling Cons Not very shaded in open water so hot Waited a bit (ten minutes) for guide A bit of a workout paddling The sign for the location is after the driveway, they could improve this (solution.... we backed up ten feet ;))
