This Dealership will no doubt be wonderful to sell you a bike, when it comes to customer service and also service department they are out of their depth and are outright rude, and over charge you by a lot. Here's the story purchased a new bike from them, purchased some modifications and asked for them to be installed and dropped off all parts. Got a call with a price and agreed. Bike gets delivered and some modifications weren't even done at all. When I complain there was not even an attempt to say sorry and they began with the excuses as to why they didn't or couldn't. When I call back to discuss they still have excuses but we agree they will finish them on first service. Bring bike back a month later and they're missing a part and I'm talked to like I'm an idiot and they now try to tell me I was charged only for what they did and I'll have to pay for the remaining mods. I say no and explain. They find my mod part they lost while telling me they've never seen it. They call me and tell me they'll have to drill a hole to install my usb charger outlet, which the bike comes from the mfg with the hole already drilled. I have to go to YouTube and email them links to videos of How to's ( again this is supposed to be a selling and service dealership) they do all of 2 mods and first service and charge me for 2 hours which every other dealership advised was overcharging me by $100. They claim no. I will never ever ever ever do any business with them again. Patty is by far the Worst person at this place she is rude and dismissive at best with almost zero knowledge of what she's even selling. Frank in Service is also a Joke when I have send him How To's can't complete simple things and they over charge. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! I picked up my new motorcycle and it had grease prints all over it the young spit on his finger to wipe off the display and said the bike should have been wiped down!!! I got it home and the iil was down almost a quart and antifreeze was lol also!!! I have work at a Toyota dealership for 42 years as a technician and in that time I have set up thousands of cars this was a very shoddy job. Needed a part for my 2018 Goldwing, the closes dealer to my home did not have one in stock. Getting ready for a trip so I needed to get it ASAP. I knew MTR was the next closes Honda dealer. Took a drive down with not high expectations. The one worker was in the repair area of the shop and came out to meet me at the parts counter. Apparently he was doing both jobs. Unless you have cash in hand the Ninja 400 KRT will cost you a lot more than $5000. I know I purchased one last year in 2018...The bike was $5499, plus $540. for the transferable Kawasaki 4 year extended warranty, $370. for dealership financing fees, doc fees, etc., $160. for a new motorcycle registration which included fee for the runner to go and register the bike I purchased from this dealership, $410.83 for State sales taxes for the purchase of the bike not including registration... Grand total for my 2018 Ninja 400 KRT was $7069.83 I asked the dealership a week after buying it what I'd could get for a trade in because I found out latter after buying this bike that it's made in Thailand. Stephanie never told me how much I'd get in a trade but she did say I will loose a lot of money if I want to trade it in and said I am better off selling it on Craigslist... I purchased a BELL helmet which cost me $230. at the time I purchased the bike and it didn't include the cloth case. Somehow it was missing out of the already open box that the helmet was in... I contacted Kawasaki online and asked them about the riding jacket they give away when you purchase a new 2018 Ninja 400, they got back to me and asked me my size... It was about a month latter after receiving the jacket I received a call from MTR informing me I was eligible for a free jacket...No kidding they were that far behind the ball.... I wouldn't recommend ever buying a bike from MTR in Woonsocket RI. read more

My bike was with MTR for almost two months. I NEVER got a call for an update. I had to call myself whenever I felt and update would be nice. They added things to my bike without consulting with me and at the end of the day I never received the service I went there for. The only person who will speak to you over the phone (Patty) doesn't even know what's going on. There is no way to speak to the service department. We were told that they don't have time to be calling customers. Terrible communication. The attitude from the woman we spoke (Patty) with was ridiculous. I just bought a 2018 bike from them because THEY stocked the bike I wanted. What I first noticed when I called, was Stephanie's attitude. I had some detailed questions on the bike, most of which she knew but some she had to call me back on. She called me back! With answers! Every single time she said she would do something, she did it. I really like that in a person, but I really, really like it in a bike dealer. Normally they don't really give a crap. I had gotten help with info on quite a few more occasions from Frank, who wound up building my bike, and Patty also, whom I called on a Thursday that I was ready to get that bike and she had my bike delivered and built by Saturday. She didn't promise she would, she just said that she would try her hardest to get it done, then did it. I rolled out of MTR with my brand new Kawasaki dual sport and no one was more surprised than I was. This is the quickest that a dealer had ever gotten a bike ready to go for me. Patty, and everyone else, simply does what they say they will. I was amazed. I have found that I very much like Patty, Stephanie and Frank, and I like them because they have proven to me that I can trust them. Every person did much more than necessary to help me get my new bike This is my first experience with MTR Racing but I've been riding and buying bikes since 1971. Although I live a half hour away, I'm going to keep going to them and I'm writing this because I took a chance and came out ahead and happy. read more

Bought a new motorcycle, traded one in, and had the new one serviced at MTR Racing. Every transaction was hassle-free. Service was done exactly when they said it would be. Will be bringing the new bike in for periodic service and a recall in the spring. Could bring it to a closer dealer, but the great service is worth a little longer ride. read more

Absolutely horrible! The service department is a joke. Complete hacks. If you have any intentions of bringing your bike here for ANY service just know that you most likely won't be riding it anytime in the near future. The service manager claims to be the best but is a lazy idiot. He has trained the other tech there, so not much there either. Honestly if i were you i'd bring my bike ANYWHERE else. Stay away from this fraudulent merchant. You got my warning. I went to the store to get a helmet. They do not have my size offered a special order. I said what if it does not fit. I was told as long as it does not leave the store, I can return it. They promise a delivery of 4 days and would call me. They never did. I called back after 11 days and was told it JUST arrived. I went to the store to pick it up and it does not fit. I was offered a return. After 20 plus minutes, they offered a store gift card (minus 25% restocking fee). I said that is not right. She told me it was posted everywhere in the store. Plus, even in the store, I was told if I do an exchange or store credit, it would be a full price but even for a store credit (gift card), they did 25% restocking fee anyway. They should have told me the restocking fee and they should have offered a full gift card even according to their own fraudulent practice. I am fighting for my rights and am doing BBB and credit dispute. I will do the small claim court if all fails (which will not happen). Get my word, stay away from this frauduent store. read more

I was looking for a good price on a new motorcycle. I shopped for months to no avail. Majority of the shops in MA wanted a high doc fee ($600!) which I happily refused to pay. MTR wanted $60 or around that. Plus, I got a nice discount on my bike. It was a win/win situation. Parts area is a little small but everyone was pleasant and treated you nicely. Shop is near local bus line and they even offered to pick me up from the bus stop. read more

Chelsea was very helpful and did not hesitate to take extra time answering my battery questions. she also spent time explaining brake part discrepancies in book to me PItA that I am. The worst dealership we ever. We were approved for financing, them they gave us a joke amount for trade in. We told them we were going to another dealership and left. We went to another dealership with great customer service and the correct amount for the trade, but went to transfer the loan, but MTR called the bank when we left and told them that the borrower was not the principal operator so now the loan was denied... Very dirty dealings they will be hearing from our attorney... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PALACE!!!!! read more

STAY AWAY FROM MTR IN WOONSOCKET. Last Saturday I went to MTR racing on social st in Woonsocket to buy a phone mount for my handlebars on my new Victory. After picking out the mount I wanted, I asked if I could borrow a wrench from one of the techs since I didn't have one on me and I didn't have time to go home. Service offered to install it for me for free. I was appreciative and agreed. I saw the guy push the bike inside, he then asked me what side I wanted the mount on. I asked him to put it on the left side. About ten minutes later I asked the person at the counter to check and see if my bike was done. He said it looked done but couldn't find anyone in the shop to verify it was ready to go. I waited some more and then asked someone else to check on my bike. She told me it was finished and I heard her tell him to do his job and get the bike back outside. I continued to stare at my finished bike for another ten minutes. I got frustrated after waiting about a half an hour and said the hell with it and went into service and got on my bike with every intention of riding it right through the showroom and out the front door. Once I was on the bike the guy that put the phone mount on suddenly had the time to push the bike outside. I go up front and told the owner I was upset that I was now late because of her employee's laziness or plain disregard of my time. I then got on my bike outside and thanked the guy for putting the mount for me and he ignored me. I left in a hurry because I was late, when I got where I was going I noticed that there were scratches and gouges on the left handlebar from the mount being dragged across it. I tried to call them back but couldn't get ahold of anyone. I went there on Tuesday morning right when they opened to talk to the service manager, Frank. Who proceeded to tell me that there was no way his guy scratched the bars and the scratches must have been there before he put the mount on. I asked if he had taken a picture of the bars or showed anyone they were scratched before he worked on it. He said no because he didn't have to because no one ever gets in trouble for scratches. I was then told that they wouldn't do ANYTHING to help me get the bars fixed, or even return the money I paid for the scratched up phone mount. I asked asked to speak to Frank's boss but was told she wouldn't be in until Friday. He took pictures of the scratches and I asked him to send them to me. He never sent them to me even when I called two more times asking for a call back. On Friday I went in to see the owner who also told me I should have had a picture of the handlebars right before and right after he touched it. She told me that there was nothing she would do to help me. All I asked was for her to buy another set of handlebars for me. She told me it was never going to happen, I told her that I would tell everyone how they treat their customers. She said I was trying to blackmail her, and I corrected her by saying all I am asking for is a mistake to be rectified. She refused again to help me, I told her I was also going to see a lawyer. She laughed at me and said good luck. So please stay away from MTR and please share this so it no one else makes the mistake of going there. read more

MTR had my bike 3 WEEKS past my appointment date. Each time I called I was told "parts are 2-3 days away". I asked that they keep in contact with me about the situation, I never received a call until the day the bike was completed. I said I would be down that afternoon to pick my bike up, they should have been expecting me. After I paid I was told to wait out front for my bike. After a half hour wait I was told my battery is dead, cant be jump started, wont take a charge and I'd have to buy a new battery that they would be happy to sell me. After having my bike for a month and calling me saying its ready, when I arrive I cant even leave with the bike. I've been going to MTR for 10 years and this will definitely be my last time. read more

had them do repairs the end of last season. bearings in the triple tree. paid over four hundred. this year same problem. took it back. three days before they checked it. admitted there was a problem in the area they worked on. also stated i needed wheel bearings and fluid for my forks. wanted over 900 for the repair despite the fact they just did the repair. refused to let them double charge me so I just ordered the parts and took my bike elsewhere. at that point I found out everything was loose that they worked on. just needed retorqued. tire pressure was low. wheel bearings were fine. changed the fluid in my forks. 130 bucks. went to get my deposit on the parts I left. was 100 bucks. refused to give it back. said 90 bucks for the diagnostic test ride. three minutes around the block to say what they did wasn't right. counter hell lied. said he needed the deposit. never said I had to pay for them to check their own work. very deceitful employees. mechanic miß diagnosed my problem. and they don't guarantee the work they do. don't go there for anything!!! read more
