I had a houseful of old windows (many with the old wavy glass) and screens, including a large many-paned bay window over a clay tile roof and two windows encased within wrought iron grilles. They all showed years of accumulated dirt and post-painting debris. B&B's Eric spent 6+ hours cleaning them. He was quiet, clean, friendly, good with the dog who tried to supervise, and great at making the all of the windows seem to disappear. The price was quite reasonable. I had a good experience with this company. They were professional and they cleaned the exterior of all my windows, our clogged gutters & downspouts and our solar panels. The only small piece of feedback I have is that I wish they had cleaned up a bit more after themselves as their was some gutter debris on my patio and in my lawn/garden when I got home. But it was not a big amount, so I am not taking that big of a deduction off my review. Also, I want to give a big thanks to Christy who made sure the job got done on time. I had forgotten to unlock my back gate when I left for work, and she said it was no problem...they could use their ladder to get over my fence. We have just used B&B to clean our windows and gutters for the third time. They do a good job. This time while working on our windows they accidentally put a hole in one of our window screens. When we informed them of this they came buy and repaired and replaced the screen. Anyone business can make a mistake so I judge a company on how they react when they do so. My experience with this company was outstanding. Eduardo and his crew were very professional and they thoroughly cleaned my clogged gutters, downspouts and roof. And they also did a great job of cleaning up after themselves! I have used B and B Window and Gutter cleaning since 2017. The debris had always been placed in plastic bags in order to protect the plantings below the gutters. This year, the debris was blown out of the gutters onto the ground and my plants. Begrudgingly, the men blew the yard debris into a pile including all the mulch, leaving the ground bare. When I observed what they were doing, I asked them to stop. They in turn told their employer that they were cleaning up as I requested, and I asked them to stop. Of course I did, I wanted to preserve as much of the mulch as possible. The company sent me a bill, told me that they had no notes stating how I wanted the debris removed. (No one asked when I made the appt. and for years they had cleaned the gutters by hand into a bag. BEWARE. When you call, Ask how they planned to do the work. While the workers were good the office staff was deceptive with the bid as they quoted me one price verbally and then did not honor that verbal price. They were unwilling to change the price to their verbal commitment when I confronted them with this. The accountability was absent. We have many choices with window cleaning services. I have had a terrible time in the last 5 years of finding a great window washer for the house. I always go over the detail of please be careful NOT to injure "this one" or "those two" plants. Every time, I would lose the entire plant due to them crushing it with WALKING or their Ladder. I think priorities are in the windows getting done but can't I protect my rare fragile plants too? So I let my house go a year or two and decided to give these guys a try... 2 very chill and friendly guys came and it all got done and no plants injured or killed. Yay! And...it was so good I think I'll use these guys 2x year. Stressless=Happy! I have a 3 level-ish house..lots of glass plus, solar panels and some power washing of steps and sides of the house! Just asked these guys who were cleaning our neighbor across the street's gutters. They didn't have time to do it that day but I phoned the office and the person there was really professional and good. They came out a few days later and did a great job, cleaned up nicely after themselves, pointed out some suspect things that we need to have taken care of, even power-washed down a few wasps nests that were accumulating, and seemed very reasonably priced. We had contacted them a couple of weeks ago after seeing the positive reviews on Yelp. They came over to do an estimate, sussed out the situation, gave us a fair price and the game was on! To be honest, our house is kind of quirky and not the easiest place to work with. Since it's built on a hill, the front is two stories and the back is three stories, plus we've got eaves and some other weird shit going on. I honestly don't know how they did some of the windows without scaffolding, but they managed, and did a fabulous job. The windows are actually sparkling! Really impressive from start to finish. I contacted them on email for a quote (along with another highly rated company). Nicole responded quickly with an affordable price once - apparently the used Google Street View or something similar to figure out a bit about the house (smart). They were booked out several weeks because of the busy season (fall) but scheduling it was easy. The arrived at the scheduled time, were super friendly and nice..... and they ended up charging less than what was quoted as the job went faster than they anticipated. WOW. It's a good idea to confirm and reconfirm any scheduling you do with this company. I made a reservation weeks ago. They sent me a confirmation, but then I called and asked for the following week. We switched he date and time. B and B did not record it. Meanwhile, I took the day off for window cleaning, and then they did not show. I called; Nicole said that they had no record of my reservation. It's very frustrating to rely on poor recording and then their denial that the reservation was not even there. What a great company! From my first interaction with Nicole in the office to schedule our appointment, to getting our gutters cleaned today, I was so impressed by B&B! The initial price that Nicole quoted me was a little more than another company I was researching, but B&B's price included downspout clearing, which we desperately needed, and the other quote did not. On top of it, it was so easy to communicate with their office and she had great advice for me and was so personable...I decided to go with B&B despite the extra $$ I was able to get an appointment within a week or so, and they showed up when they said they would. I believe the person that did the work was Ben - He was really friendly and answered all of my very elementary questions. He even humored my request to trim a couple of low-hanging palm branches from our neighbor's tree - certainly above and beyond, and much appreciated! They ended up charging me less than the amount they quoted, based on the work that was involved, which was a true testament to their commitment to customer service. We had been putting off having our windows cleaned for 4 years ... Each time about October my husband and I would say- "we really need to get these windows washed....which was then always followed with "but it's October...it will be raining soon..and why pay $200+ and then they all dirty again".. A very friendly guy named Jeremy came right on the dot of 8:30am [the arrival time we were given].. and all we can say.. is that he did a Fantastic Job!! We live in Montclair [Oakland Hills] with lots of trees around us..and we kept saying all day.."Wow !!..we didn't realize that they [the windows] were SO DIRTY- We can actually see the trees- like we have the windows open !! These guys know how to clean a good window and can work in a multitude of conditions (i.e. sloping yard, private street, nearly-glued-on windows, multi-stair 3-story unit with private entryways). Worked together over a series of email with Nicole to set an appointment and to get all our logistical questions from on-the-day-of to payment questions answered. If you're looking for window/gutter cleaners, I would highly recommend these guys. I got a coupon via Amazon (like a Living Social or Groupon kind of thing). It was $50 for $100 worth of cleaning, on the first story only. I really have no windows at a first story level -- 90% of my windows need to be accessed with a ladder, and I have a lot of them, so I knew I would be paying extra. They came last week and cleaned every window, inside & out, plus all my screens and they checked & cleared my gutters. Two guys. The total cost was $265, so I basically paid $215, in addition to the coupon voucher I had already purchased. They did excellent work, were fast and thorough. They have such a competitive price, that I have referred to them as "the single best home improvement value" out there. Luis came a few minutes early (much better than late!) and very politely and clearly explained what he was going to do and how he was going to do it.
