He then said that before proceeding he would have to inspect the vehicle because it was over 20 years old and asked for my address, so I gave it to him. Four days later he tells me he can't do it because it wasn't a running vehicle. Funny enough I was driving the vehicle back from the store when I got the text. It has been 5 days of run around and poor communication and now I am back to square one to find someone to replace my cracked window. Chips mobile Glass Repair was a giant waste of my time. REPLY to his response: I contacted you about a 2001 Lexus. I gave you my phone number! My most charitable guess is that you came to my house when I wasn't home, without contacting me first, and saw a 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser project sitting by my shop and somehow could not tell the difference between the two cars and still wouldn't call or ask any questions. If you answered your phone or called anyone back this could have been sorted out in 2 minutes! This has been a ridiculously frustrating experience and very unprofessional behavior. I called him to sort it out and he cussed and yelled at me and wouldn't listen to a thing I said. This was shockingly horrible behavior.

She was able to understand our needs and walk us through sharing our location. (We had a coolant leak in our pickup about 10 miles west of Sisters.) She found a driver that could be there in 3-4 hours. In about two hours, she called to say the driver was on his way and would be there in about an hour. Russell arrived as expected, was very friendly, conscientious, and thorough. Kept us informed about the steps he was taking and delivered us and our pickup and fifth wheel to the dealership. He even dropped us off to pick up our rental vehicle. They made an unfortunate situation as positive as they could! Thank you both!

It was probably the shortest tow job he ever did (5 feet) but I would have been late to the campsite if I hadn't come across Casey and Cascade Heavy Rescue. Thank you for saving the day. He pulled the van forward, I climbed in and activated the battery boost button (jumps the chassis battery with the rv house battery), started the van and re-parked it a couple feet from the fence. A terrific company! First used them a few years ago when my 1966 Mustang had a couple of balky window lifters. B&D did a great job - turned out that the windows only needed some old-age cleaning and lubrication. Next job was the driver-side door control cluster (windows, mirrors, etc.) on my Outback. They were so speedy I was able to wait for the service without making a second trip back if I'd left the car. Same car caught a rock and needed a new windshield - my insurance company suggested SafeLite, but they were booked WAY out. B&D did the job later that same week. They saved me once again this week when a DIY project (Mustang) to tighten the door lock cylinder went awry. My main man - Greg - is a great guy and always ready to go the extra mile to help out. They're right across from Robberson Ford on Third. Give 'em a try! read more

Side slider window out of whack with possible need for regulator or motor replacement. They ordered the regulator in advance, just in case it needed to be replaced at my appointment time. Toyota wanted $90 just for the diagnostic, and another $200 just to do the same. B+D quoted $125 out the door. Turns out that it was just a loose bolt in the window components. He tightened it and also checked and tightened the other side, then sent me on my way without charge, only requesting that I keep them in mind if I ever need window repairs or replacement done. The window operates like new. Now that is outstanding business on a level that I have not seen in 20 years. Kudos to B+D, you have a loyal customer for life! read more

Andrew said they couldn't figure the issue out and blamed it on the wiring. I only drove the truck 200 miles in this 7 months because I was convinced it had a real issue. I took the truck to another diesel shop in Bend and they found the issue in less than 5 minutes in the parking lot. My truck needed a simple $60 boost relief valve. Fixed the full throttle check engine light and loss of power that I'd spent thousands to repair. A 1999 Ford 7.3 Powerstroke is basic enough I didn't expect a shop with their "reputation" to be so reckless recommending repairs that turned out to be expensive guesses. I would not recommend House of Power to do any diesel work. I can't believe what they were able to talk me into and hopefully this review will help others avoid the nightmare I experienced
