The lake is pretty clean and has several places to anchor to play in the water or relax with friends. We decided to take our kids tubing, and it was really fun. The lake is large enough to feel safe while motoring, but small enough to get around quickly. Id definitely recommend getting a coverer boat with parial shade, it was hot in the sun when you arent motoring. Overall this was a fantastic experience and we would do it again anytime.

Active small craft advisory, heavy rain, thunderstorms, but the mullet man behind the counter says it's fine to take a boat out with small children. Pretty convenient that he can't answer policy questions when asked what the actual definition of unsafe weather conditions are according to their policy. Won't even allow for a rain check. Go there if you want terrible customer service and a horrible experience.
