Ok, so I'm looking for a 16ft fishing boat. See one on fb marketplace @ Huber's. Fair price, just what I want. Huber's is about a 50 mile drive, Saturday afternoon, call it a CV-19 escape! Arrive at the dealer and I get this story... oh, we sold that a couple of weeks ago... we haven't had small fishing boats for a while. Now Is this a bait and switch, to get you into a middle of no where to a dealership, so we can sell you something else? Confront them on this. One of the owners comes out and says, it's not our fault! We don't control or list our fb sales, some one else runs their fb page sales. It is not their fault it hasn't come down yet. What? Did I hear that right? No responsibility... really! Now hell, I've bought and sold stuff on fb, taking it off line, marking items sold, is as easy as marking it sold and poof! It's recorded for all to see. I drive an hour and 15 minutes, to a middle of no where marine dealer, who it appears in order to drive business to their doorstep using a post to bait and switch boat ad's? Folks go else where... We bought a boat from Huber's earlier this year in the beginning of summer. We were initially going to buy a brand new boat, but, we are very Inexperienced boat owners, as we've never owned a boat before. So we decided on a used boat and found a seemingly nice one from Hubers. Our original sales person was Jeff and he was wonderful, the buying process was was easy and we were able to pick up our boat shortly after the 4th of July. We were told that the boat would undergo a thorough maintenance inspection to insure that everything was working properly. The day we picked up the boat we were taken on test ride by Connor. Again, we're very inexperienced boat owners so we were not really sure what we're looking for. But we were told that everything was inspected and in proper working order. Our 1st day out on the water, a few hours in we noticed the bilge pump wasn't working it was tripping a breaker and not pumping water out of the lower compartments. I went into Hubers alone, to see if they could look at it and see what the problem was. I spoke with the older woman in there who was very kind and she directed me to dark haired, middle aged gentlemen with glasses, I didn't catch his name at the time. But, I told him the situation about the bilge pump and he told me to get ahold of Connor [in the garage] and they would get it fixed. I asked him about how much he thought it would cost and he told me, "don't worry about it, we'll cover it. We sold you a boat and we told you everything was working and its not, so we're gonna make it right." We dropped the boat off at the garage and about a week later my girlfriend got a call from Hubers, Adrian, saying our boat was ready to be picked up and it was going to be $71. My girlfriend explained that a dark haired man in the store told me that they were going to cover it. Adrian said said she was going to check with the store to see who said that. She called back and said was Cory and he "doesn't recall saying anything like that." Adrian got snippy with my girlfriend and said, "Well we were nice enough to give you half off." And ultimately hung up on my girlfriend. We had no problem paying for the repairs originally. It was offered to us to cover the charges for repair. So then to flip the script and make it seem like I lied about Cory ever saying that over a measly $71 is incredibly insulting after after just spending almost $20,000 on a boat. They only care about you until they get their money. Like I said, in the future we're looking to buy a brand new boat, but Hubers will never get another dime out of us. read more

Took my boat seat here to get fixed for warranty work. The entire time they acted like I was bothering them. When they said they fixed the seat pedestal, they ended up putting a used on on that looked like it had been a chew toy for dog for weeks. When I questioned it, they said it would take months to get a new one, when they had a few brand new ones in their showroom department. I will never go back there again, and I hope nobody else does. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! I WOULDN'T SEND MY WORST ENEMY HERE! Staff is completely inept. I purchased a brand new boat here and started having problems with how the motor was mounted immediately. I reached out to Huber and they basically did not want to deal with the situation. Have had numerous other issues and when I contact them they basically will NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT!!!! Even if it's under warranty they will fight with you about it! A few of my neighbors have had similar issues with them. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere!!!!!!!! Worst customer service Ever! My latest impression was:NOT RELIABLE. I am a past customer of the above named business. Currently I experienced unusual problem with communication like messages ignored,calls not answered ,etc. Such kind of behavior suggests a problem with operations of the business and is not a good indicator of quality performance. Rented a pontoon boat here a week or 2 ago. There is a small Huber's Marine location right on Pine Lake about a mile from its main location. The boat was nice. It was about $90 for 2 hours which was plenty. There is radio on the boat and we brought our own food/drinks. read more
