The owner passed away several years ago and the store was torn down. This business no longer exists.

Ray (the dad) and Brandon (the son) are honest and transparent and willing to teach us how to care for it. We went back in October to get the winterization and their friendliness and service was just as genuine. A very high recommend!

My husband is familiar with towing and trailers, but I was new (except for watching a lot of Youtube videos for newbies!), and Ray spent several hours explaining everything and answering my questions when we picked it up. Brandon set up the hitch on our SUV that day, everything is perfectly balanced, it uses newer bluetooth technology to connect the braking system, and he was also patient with my questions. Ray has great insights, is an honest businessperson, loves and has extensive knowledge about the RV industry, gets things done by the date we need (adding accessories like better entry steps, winterizing, de-winterizing, etc. -- it's a small family business so we try to give enough notice and keep our requests reasonable), and wants his customers to enjoy their leisure time with the RV (instead of just buying and having it sit). Ray, his son Brandon, and his wife are a joy to talk with and get ideas about RVing from.

This company deserves LESS than one star. We bought a brand new Isata 3 in 2017. We love our coach,…read morebut about 2 years ago the dinette benches start cracking and peeling. When we reached out to the company we were told that they were aware of the faulty material used and in "good faith" we were told we could purchase a new dinette at their cost. Here is the actual response from Forest River: "I can absolutely help you with getting this dinette replaced, however it will not be the same style or color as what you currently have which means it will not match any of the rest of the upholstery in your unit. To place this order through us, you also must have a commercial address to have this shipped to as it will be shipped on a freight truck and will need a forklift to unload. I have listed the 3 color options in the attachment of this email, and the price for the dinette booth is listed below. The price for this booth is OUR cost, which is our "special" for the peeling furniture. I have included a picture below of the new dinette booth style. Please note, it's not a wrap around style like you currently have. The price for the 3 different colors is the same. The two options we offer for ordering this would be for you to provide your address and credit card information via email or filling out the attached order form. These are the only two options we offer for ordering. You are also welcome to order directly from Lippert. F100626595 : DINETTE BOOTH, 42" ETNA STORM 2025.5 (MILANO DECOR) $1,220.85 + tax and freight shipping ($250-$350)" Sara Benner, Mark Benner, Bryan Knight and Dynamax will NEVER see $1.00 from us again. They knew there was a problem and chose to do nothing about it! Hope this saves someone else shopping for a coach. Run from Dynamax and Forest River. There are too many other companies that will treat you as a valued customer."

Review of General RV in Wayland, Michigan…read more We recently had the pleasure of working with General RV in Wayland, Michigan, and overall, it was a very positive experience. Here's a detailed breakdown of what stood out and a few areas where there's room for improvement. What Stood Out Wide Range of Options: General RV offers an impressive variety of choices, from their "Keep You Camping" program - considered an "industry differentiator" because it prioritizes your ability to use your RV during peak camping season and educates owners on what truly needs immediate attention versus what can wait - to various extended warranties. Their willingness to work with customers and tailor options to individual needs really sets them apart. Exceptional Team Members * Marcus (Salesperson Extraordinaire): Marcus was fantastic. He patiently answered all our questions and helped us secure a great price. His expertise and knowledge of the industry as a whole, honesty and friendly approach made the buying process smooth and enjoyable. We appreciated all of his tips and tricks while test driving and found his insight and attention to detail refreshing! * Justin (Financier and "Cliff Talker Offer"): Justin was incredibly patient with all our questions, especially when we raised concerns about General RV's service department Yelp rating. He walked us through the financing options clearly and helped us understand everything thoroughly. * Aaron (Parts Specialist): Aaron was straightforward and helpful, providing a clear list of must-have, nice-to-have, and cool items for our RV. His no-nonsense attitude was refreshing and very useful. I love that he did not try to sell us things we didn't need and answered lots of questions about water systems and electricity! * Jim (Walk-Through Expert): Jim gave us a thorough walk-through of the RV and explained all the features in detail, ensuring we felt confident with our purchase. * Andrew (Insurance Specialist): Andrew was amazing at finding the best insurance coverage and deductible combination within our budget. His expertise made a complicated process much easier. * Front Desk Team: The ladies at the front desk were attentive and helpful throughout. Even though they initially spelled our name incorrectly, they quickly fixed it and kept the atmosphere light with some friendly teasing. Areas for Improvement While the overall experience was great, the cleanliness and attention to detail inside the RV could use some work. There were small issues like the time wasn't set on the clock, dried chunky caulking around the outside lights and smeared on a window, and a receptacle so dusty that I initially thought its color was off. Improving these small details would elevate the customer experience significantly. Final Thoughts General RV in Wayland offers excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff, and a variety of helpful programs that make RV ownership easier and more enjoyable - especially for a first time buyer. With a bit more focus on the finishing touches and cleanliness, they would be absolutely top-notch. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the market for an RV.

I do not recommend this dealership…read more First, the coating package is a complete scam. They advertise one price, but once all the additional fees are added, you end up paying almost double. Save your money and don't buy it. The sales process was also very disappointing. The salesperson kept adding extra products and services, making the final price much higher than expected. I felt pressured into purchasing things I didn't really need. The biggest issue was that the salesperson assured me my current truck was capable of towing the camper. After I took delivery, I found out that wasn't true. I ended up having to replace my truck just to tow the camper I had purchased. I feel like I was misled, and that was extremely frustrating. To make matters worse, the very first time I used the camper, my vacation was ruined. The fresh water system appeared to be contaminated, with what looked like bug eggs in the water tanks, and the water coming out of the faucets had a terrible smell. I had to spend a good part of my trip on the phone with customer service trying to get help. Unfortunately, the customer service experience was just as disappointing. The representative I spoke with was rude and unhelpful, and the woman at the front desk treated customers with very little respect. It felt like they didn't care about resolving the issues after the sale. Overall, this has been one of the worst purchasing experiences I've had. I would not recommend doing business with this dealership. I hope my review helps others avoid the same headaches, unexpected expenses, and poor customer service that I experienced.
