Fast forward to now and I take it in for service and the kid behind the counter tells me tough luck we don't deal with Can-Am anymore. Clearly the sales rep was pushing the Can-Am bc they were trying to get rid of them and she had no concern for what I was telling her at the time. Now I have to drive 50 miles for the closest servicing. Kid could've cared less, like I was annoying him being there. So their website says they have Can-Am and the sign out front says BRP, but don't believe it. And if you buy anything there remember they may very well not stand behind it a couple years later. Probably won't matter anyway since their showroom is so empty it looks like they are about to go out of business. Will never go back.

I also wanted a second set of eyes to check all my work and inspect everything once in a while, so I dropped my bike off at Fairfax Cycles. The main service I requested was to replace the front fork and exchange the fork and brake oils. I bought the Ohlins fork from Partszilla and dropped it off at the shop. I was missing some other small parts needed, and they were able to order it for me. I had a budget I wanted to stick to, and they were able to work with me to meet my budget and the services I needed. They were very flexible. For the amount of work done on my bike, I'd say the price was fair. The place is very busy all year round, though. Please set your expectations. You'll likely have to wait to get serviced. You'll also need to pick up ASAP. I felt good about all the services performed on the bike. The installed Ohlins fork makes the bike so much better. Will I come back, a definite yes.

I was a bit intimidated to walk in as I dont look like a stereotypical motorcyclist but the gentlemen was super friendly and fast with helping me. I brought in a broken clutch lever that I didnt have the right tools to fix it myself. He was super quick to fix it for me and didnt even charge me for the quick fix! I called and relay (interpreter) heard a rude guy, he said "I'm not going deal with him", obviously they aren't Deaf friendly. My community not pleased and they wouldn't doing a business with this store. I spoke with the HQ about this situation and they not pleased how the store treats me. The HQ referred me to other store which is more Deaf friendly. It's all good. So I wouldn't recommend this store.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP. In April I brought a 2005 S50 from them the bike looks great and ran well…read moreuntil it had a coolant leak last Friday. But lets go back to before I brought the bike I was very clear with the sales lady Jennifer of my intentions to do some modifications to it by adding bags that lock and speakers. She said for me to speak with parts the guy in parts could not find bags I wanted but he gave me a website and said to speak with service about the installation. I spoke with the guys in service told them the year/make/model of the bike and what i was looking to do to it. I was told yeah that won't be a problem I was even told I could have the items shipped to the shop I just needed to let them know before I ship. Ok great I paid a deposit on the bike to secure it and get the paperwork rolling. However now I have the bike and have found speakers and bags I want when I called the shop to get those items shipped I was stopped in my tracks with service stating they only work on bikes that are 10 years or newer no one said any of that when I was inquiring about that bike. Had I been informed of that possibly I would have still done business with this shop just with a different newer bike. Instead this very important information was withheld from me just to make a sale. How can they sell old bikes but then refuse to work on them thats makes no sense at all. So for anyone in the market that is thinking about one of the older bikes this shop has take my advice and keep looking. I don't recommend this motorcycle shop for your needs at all.
