The owner of Cabrera Landscaping personally came out to take a look at my job and give his suggestions and an honest quote. This gave me confidence that they are taking every project seriously from small to large. The quality of work I had seen from other projects and the quote coming back at an affordable price point made my choice to move forward with Cabrera a no brainer. Once I signed a contract and got a deposit work started almost right away and was completed in an efficient amount of time. At the end of the job there were a few punch list items that needed to be resolved and the team at Cabrera jumped in to make everything right as soon as possible to make sure I was happy. We are now enjoying our new patio right in time for the fall season. If you are needing a quote or ready to pull the trigger in your next landscaping project definitely give Cabrera Landscaping a call they are very professional and communicate throughout the project to make sure you are up to speed on the project. I have an acre, and much of the backyard surrounding the pool and walkways was done in travertine stone, altogether a couple of thousand square feet. I had extensive flood damage to the stone in the last 2 years. Much of the stone had to be removed and reset or replaced, of course with a completely new stone bed and mortar. In addition I had a broken area of my driveway that needed to be redone with concrete pavers. The masons finished their job about a week ago and I was just amazed at how meticulous they were. I have done complete remodels, including extensive landscaping, on six different houses, and the paving work done by Cabrera was so far superior to any other crew I have hired that there is really no second best. They were head and shoulders above all the others. They were absolute perfectionists, and did not rush at all. What was originally thought to take 3 days or so turned into a 5-day job for a three man crew, but there was not a bit of complaining from anyone. They did not try to increase the charge because of the unanticipated extra labor. The owner of the company was always available and always responsive to any question. What I have today is a hardscape that is far superior to the original installation done 10 years ago. This is a company, family owned, that I will keep on my list for any landscaping needs in the future.

On August 30th - I asked if they would move this week because my yard had not been mowed since the first service. I had signed up for weekly service. I was told yes. On Tuesday - the 4th - I asked again. I was told they would be out in the next few days. On Friday - I said I really, really needed my yard mowed. I understand we have had a lot of rain - but the yard services for my neighbors have all been completed. By Saturday - my yard is now horrible. I was told that I had been called by one of his employees and told him everything was ok... I did not speak to anyone. Someone representing themselves as a competitor did call to offer to mow for a higher price - turns out this was his employee. At the end - I was told to find another service. Today - I will be mowing with my reel mower and finding a new service.

I also had a 3-day trip planned a few days later and didn't have time to cut the grass. They came a day later then they said they would. I didn't mind that, as long as it was cut right. It wasn't. I just got home a few days later. There are clumps of grass everywhere. The yard is uneven in multiple spots. Lastly, they didn't weed eat around the sides. This is, by far, the worst lawn service experience I've ever had.

McCord Landscaping and Design did an amazing job transforming our yard. Neal was incredibly quick and prompt throughout the entire process. He gave us a quote, and within just one week, he was out here immediately doing the installation. He updated five of our existing landscaping beds, removed 4 trees and made huge improvements in each one. He also installed beautiful landscaping lighting around both the front and back of our house.
