Just came by to take a pic. of the taco man inside the market. I mentioned him in my previous review before the update. Hopefully you'll be able to view all the pics. from B&N. I have tried his burritos since then and he's the real deal. He makes tacos and burritos out of the marinated chicken and asada meat prepared from this market. He also has carnitas and can customize your order. He's only here Sat. & Sun.

Their produce is not the best. It's always wilted. HOWEVER they have the best ground beef. I only get it there

Tried their marinated ranchera this past weekend and it is absolutely the best I have ever had.

The produce and fruit selection is a little limited, but the quality is usually good. My main issue is the pricing on essentials, which can feel high, especially when a lot of the shelf items are generic or off-brand products I usually pass on. For things like paper goods, I'd still rather shop at Costco for better quality and value. The bakery is worth it for pan dulce, but I'm not a big fan of the cakes since the frosting feels more like whipped topping and decoration than flavor. The deli and ready-to-eat food are a strong point though--tasty, solid portions, and fairly priced. Service has always been friendly, and I've never had a problem here. The ambiance is what you'd expect from a typical Hispanic market: busy, familiar, and sometimes crowded. Overall, not my first pick for a full grocery run, but still a good stop for prepared food, bakery items, and a few basics.

That being said I have been to a ALDI in a nearby city and this was my first time at this establishment. The store has the basic signature set up. As we walked in there was security at the entrance okay to that. Store looked clean and well kept Pretty busy I went looking for some soft foods for me. Prices were pretty decent. Found Salmon for a great price looks very fresh also found some dry soups that would be great to make. One of the stocking staff I past was working like a well oiled machine stocking and organizing the shelving. Now understand this market isn't like major chains. They carry off brands that still are as good. I found a lot of good things I would not found at other establishments. Now I could have dropped a star for this situation but the other staff at this establishment were customer service. Noting the time which was around a little before 5 pm. I ask the current cashier for the code for the restroom. I have a lisp because of a dental procedure. I ask her for the code I got "What"? Like what do you need now attitude I repeated it she said oh as if annoyed. She called on the walkie. The next encounter was when I was checking out, like she was on a race to get people out no hello just started scanning and tossing things into the basket. She told me my total and to proceed foe payments. Then she ask my wife something and my wife told her we were together paying separately. As my wife was pulling forward she kind of pulled the basket away from her? My wife was holding on to the basket for support. Then she explained to my with she was going to use the basket for the next customer. Then my wife noticed she didn't give me my receipt. My wife got it for me. I was going to address a manager about it. But I let it fly. The establishments price and product are good even the stock staff was friendly but the important part is the cashier when you're leaving they are the reflection on your return

Aldi - Pico Rivera (1/5)…read moreThe store itself is kept pretty clean and is usually well-stocked. I like some of the products, which is the only reason I've kept coming back. The staff, however, are a complete mess. From management down, the vast majority are rude, unfriendly, and condescending. There are maybe one or two exceptions who are actually decent, but overall the attitude is ridiculous. I've had multiple terrible experiences. One cashier charged me twice for a single item; when I pointed it out she rolled her eyes and walked away, leaving me standing there embarrassed until a different (friendly) cashier finally helped me. Another time a cashier aggressively threw a bottle of wine into my cart so hard it broke, then just kept going like nothing happened--even though there was no one behind me in line. She was rushing as if her life depended on it. I've also had a cashier completely melt down because I didn't have my own cart and was bagging from the one next to her register. She started shaking and was nearly in tears because I was "taking too long." I'm done. I now drive all the way to the Downey location instead. The staff there are far friendlier, and the better experience is worth the extra trip. This Pico Rivera store is a mess.
