Avoid! B & U lost our clothes, informed us that another customer had accidently picked up our clothes and we gave them a month to retrieve. No updates throughout the whole month and once we went back to ask them, they got upset with us! Fortunately, they reimbursed for the lost clothes, but at a half of what was spent on them. I went here to have my bridesmaids dress hemmed and steamed and they insured me they would have it ready by the date i needed it. I gave them 1.5 weeks to get it done. On Wednesday 11/9 i called them to see if it was ready and they told me it was. So my husband went to pick up the dress the next day for me. The wedding was on 11/11 and i had no time to check to make sure the dress was done correctly and i just trusted that it had been since I've used them for these services before. Well While at the wedding i kept stepping on my dress because it was too long and i looked and the dressed had not been touched. So i called and spoke with the manager and an employee and they told me they will not be giving my money back ($54.00) and it's my fault that i didn't check the dress before. The manager hung up on me because i kept asking that they return my money and what they are doing is wrong. I did not sign any kind of waiver saying that if it's not done right then i am responsible. I did not sign anything saying that there is a time frame of 24 hrs or after the event is done and i wore the dress then there is nothing they can do. No one in this store ever mentioned this to me one time. Never told me to check and make sure the work had been done. This is what we call stealing. Pretending that you did a service, charging $54 for it and when the customer realized you did no work - you argue with the customer and don't return any money. So rude! I hate to do this, but I've given B&U Cleaners 5 months to make it right.... I take my clothes to them weekly for dry cleaning, however 5 months ago they lost (2) of my expensive shirts ($100+ ea). They have given me the runaround and simply will not cover the cost. I have heard nearly every single excuse as to why they have not, that also includes them telling me at one point that I never even brought them the shirts..... In January, I spoke with the manager (Ali) and he agreed to cover 1 of the shirts - we are now in the end of march and after leaving SEVERAL messages for him to call me, absolutely NOTHING has been done. Jimmy Uy is apparently the owner and he has made himself scarce (if he even still owns it) I have no other choice but to find another reputable cleaner and also to spread the word that the lack of management and customer service @ B&U Cleaners clearly shows they do not guarantee that you will get all of your clothes back and they WILL NOT reimburse you for any lost items. New owners are absolutely horrible. I have been using this cleaners for several years. New owners took over recently. I took a brand new sports coat, never worn, to get cleaned and pressed. The jacket was not ready on time with the rest of my order. Went back the next day to pick it up as told and the jacket was not pressed and it had 2 tears in the sleeve. Tried to tell me it was torn when I brought it in. Not true. Literally removed price tag to take to the cleaners that morning. New owner arguing about old receipt. I went and bought the exact jacket that day for $103. (On sale marked down from $295) Took the new jacket and New receipt by to show them. They took pics of both. New owners only want old receipt. Most people don't save receipts for clothes purchases. I spend over $400 a month, about $5000 a year on average with that business. NO LONGER. Losing 5K worth of business over $103 is a great business model. read more

I reviewed the internet for reviews and then called around to get prices. Not only did B&U have the best prices, but the Hughes score on yelp and google reviews, and I now know why. This morning I gave myself 30 minutes to travel 4.5 miles to B&U to make it there by 9 for in and out same same service, but there was a huge wreck (apparently in front of their store). I called to say that I wasn't going to make it by 9 and the staff was so kind and said they understood and would still get my clothes in today. They were also able to fix a jacket that needed the lining mended same day for only $5. Overall my 11 laundered shirts and 2 dry cleaned pants + jacket was $30. This is by far the BEST dry cleaners that I've found in The Woodlands. The owners and staff go above and beyond to help the customers and are always polite and professional every time I stop by. For example, today I was caught in traffic after an accident right off the 1488 exit that caused me to be late to pick up my dry cleaning. Normally I would just cut my losses and go home but, I reeeeally needed clean work clothes. I arrived at B & U five minutes after they closed and the owner was nice enough to let me in. He insisted that I not worry about being late and even carried my clothes out to my car for me. If you haven't found a good dry cleaners, or if you're tired of rude employees and stretched out or ruined clothes, this is the place for you. I dropped my clothes off for the first time due to my current cleaners was closed from the storm. 1 week later I returned and most of my clothes was lost by the cleaners. They had no excuse other than they were sorry. They claimed the may know who they may have given my clothes to however the refuse to call them. I'm out 6 pairs of slacks and a suit. Hands down the best service we have ever received at a dry cleaners! We use to live right next to them so it was easy to take our clothes in, now we live in Oklahoma City. We come back to The Woodlands once a month to see out family, and we save our clothes throughout the month just so they can service them! We tried so many different places in the OKC area and nothing was even close to how great B & U cleaners are! I highly recommend them. They have fast service, we've never had a problem while using them over the past year and they take care of your clothes. This place discriminates/accuses customers without any reason! During my last visit, the customer associate told me that they can't take any clothing from me because of a note in their computer system. My previous visit was almost 2 years ago. I did not have any issues/concerns or arguments at that time or previously. All of a sudden, I came to know they flagged my name. When I requested an explanation they did not have any. I was humiliated in front of other customers w/o any justification. I was told I was going to get a call but never received one. Best Review. I put in my clothes on a Wednesday for an upcoming trip. On Saturday night (around 10pm) I realized I forgot about them. I panicked, and immediately went to their Facebook page, messaged it, with an unknown expectation yet hopes of a good outcome.
