Do not use this company, these people are conniving scumbags. I had an a/c installed by this company. After all was said and done, I find out a few days later that my dryer does not work. I didn't immediately blame the company because I was not sure what happened. I mentioned it to the guy that came to do the inspection a week after installation, he checked out my circuit breaker box and my dryer and says "it's some other problem, I don't know". Later I get an electrician to come check it out, and I find out that these aholes removed my dryer from the circuit breaker box and hid the cables, then lied about it when I brought it up. The funny thing is that if they had told me when they did, I would have been perfectly fine with it. I mentioned this to them after they texted me reminding me on my yearly inspection, and they say "I will run this by our people", a month later still nothing. Really hate posting negative reviews ss it's quite rare for me but beware of their schedulng cadence. They set up an 8am appt (first call of the day) but their intent was to show up at 9 or later. Their explanation was a dismissive "traffic can be tough and tricky". I am typically pretty flexible but it honestly looks like they don't care at all whether they have your business or not, especially when I talked to them about rescheduling - the lady was nice but just stated in tone as that was just how they operate. Decided to cancel the reschedule for next week due to this ultra casual sense of handling. I was actually looking for a potential recurring maintenance plan but It's hard to trust companies that aren't professional about appt times and act indifferently about being so late....as their first call of the day - maybe they are having just a bad day. People work and just don't have the time to deal with this type of handling. read more

Normally, I'm not a fan of writing reviews, but B-Cool definitely deserves one; and a good one at that! This is the first time I've used them, and they were fantastic! To start, the receptionist on the phone was really friendly and nice. She really put me at ease during a stressful time! A technician was able to come to the house the same day that we called. We were experiencing freezing rain and the overnight temperature had dropped to 30°F! The next night was going to be similar conditions and we needed someone quick! The technician was very polite and extremely knowledgeable of both of our units and thermostats. He was able to fix the problems and also did an entire assessment of our two units. He recorded all the measurements and observations of our units on a tablet computer with photos included. At the end of his visit, we sat down and he went through everything he did. He showed me the photos of the unit, pressure readings, voltage, etc., and then gave recommendations for future maintenance and such. The price of the visit was very reasonable! Overall a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this company! read more

The previous company I contacted canceled the day of the appointment and they couldn't send someone out until the next day. After contacting B-cool they were able to send someone to my home within 4 hours. Our technician Sean was able to diagnose and fix the issue immediately, and even helped me install my new nest thermostat. A reliable and prompt company is what I want especially when it comes to servicing my AC. read more

I called a week ago to make an appointment and requested the same tech/repair person to return as I liked the way they did the maintenance on my A/C unit the year prior. Their attention to detail was amazing! I was called today after they had called the day prior to confirm the appointment with the tech/repair person that they would not be able to send that particular tech/repair person. They offered me to either change the date which was not an option or use another tech. I informed them that if I was not satisfied with the job their tech would do that I would not pay for the service. They said that that was not an option. I guess they do not have confidence in their tech person to do a great job. I chose to find another company who values their customers time and also attention to detail that one tech/repair person has over another. read more

Purchased a house about 6 months ago and there was a B Cool sticker on the outside unit that meant that they had probably been out to this house at sometime in the past. I had them out after we moved in asking them to service the heating and air systems which they said they did and we paid for. About a month ago, the house started getting very hot and we could not get the cooling side of the system to work correctly. They sent a tech out on a Monday and he said that the condensate line was backed up, so he cleaned it out and everything worked fine.......until Friday when it started to behave the same way it did before they came out. As it was after hours, we suffered with the house getting up into the 90's almost 24 hours a day. First thing, Monday AM called them and they sent the same tech out he did exactly the same thing as the first time, declared the system fixed and took off. Same story as the first time....during the weekend, the cooling system stopped working and the we suffered all weekend with the house in the 90's. Again on Monday AM, called and spoke with Jennifer at the front office and asked that she send a different technician out and she said that she would send Sean/Shawn (not sure of spelling out). I asked that the tech call me before he started work so that we could review what was going to be done. Later in the day I spoke with a Sean/Shaun (not sure of spelling) as he was either heading to or was at the house (I was not at the house). I asked if I could speak with him about the prior work that had been done, and he immediately took a rude and abrasive attitude and told me that I was wasting HIS time talking to him as he knew what he was going to do and it didn't matter what I said. He also mentioned that he was going to do the same work as had been done the prior 2 visits. I asked him if he had looked at the prior service order notes or had spoken with the other tech and he said he had not. I told him that there were 2 things I didn't expect from B Cool and that was 1) A technician with an attitude or 2) for them to be fixing the same thing over and over again. At that point, Mr. Sean hung up on me and I never did hear from him again. I spoke with my wife a few minutes later only to find that Sean/Shaun had walked off the job apparently telling his office that I called him ignorant. Let me set the record straight.....I never called this man ignorant or any other names, and I was nothing but very pleasant to him until he became very rude to me, and then yes, I did say that I would not tolerate any attitude from a vendor. Bottom line........I was driving through the neighborhood about 30 minutes later and saw a Thigpen Heating and Air truck a few doors down, called them, and they were actually out to my house within an hour and had the system up and running within another hour. Footnote.......2 times during my last conversations with the office and with Sean, I tried to get the owners name, and neither of them would give me that information. I still don't know who the owner is, but it doesn't matter anymore, because his appointed representatives have lost a customer. read more

Our A/C went out a few nights ago. I'm pretty good at troubleshooting our A/C units but was a bit stumped. A friend of mine had used B-Cool in the past and was very impressed with there service. I called them the following morning and Matt was at our home within a few hours. Matt was very personal and had repaired my A/C in about an hour. He also took extra steps to ensure that our system (which is 14 years old) is in good working condition. I would use B-Cool again and would highly recommend them!!! I used B COOL to do a check-up on my air conditioner and two weeks later had to call a different company to fix my Air conditions. The Tech from B-cool was professional; however, I feel he could have caught the issue that later would cause my A/C to go down. All employees except the service manager were professional. I told her my issues, and she wanted to tell me all their credentials, trying to make me believe they are not entitled to make mistakes. She was very rude and unprofessional, then threatened by saying she would make it a point never to service my address again as she was being obnoxious. I do not recommend her at all. The company could be used, but ensure they are checking everything. read more

They were the least expensive quote we could find at the time we bought our unit, courteous and a good experience. Fast forward a year and we have a leak from the unit that damaged our ceiling (it's in the attic). They fixed it for free but the leak was caused from it being installed at an incorrect angle. The shut off switch from the water flow pan wasn't triggered because of this, thus the leak. B-cool wouldn't repair the damage it caused from their mistake. Fine. The humidity in our house rose to 60-80% after this repair call, and we have had to constantly clean off mold on our windows due to the condensation. Three years later and the AC unit isn't working. A tech came out and explained it was the thermostat setting, and he "fixed" it. The air it blew after this was luke-warm, and by the next day it wasn't blowing at all again. The compressor isn't turning on though the thermostat says it's working. This unit is only 4 years old at this point. We've called a different company for service and won't be using B-cool again. They are nice, inexpensive, and otherwise not bad to deal with--they just clearly don't know what they're doing and I've been disappointed too many times. read more

They collected from me hundreds of dollars for cleaning my small business A/C unit, but they never did the job. I had to call a different A/C company and pay again to get the job done. When si confronted them with the photos of the job they did not do, they denied not having done it. So how come it wasn't done B-Cool? Or more like B-Crooks read more

I have an older house that had extremely warm areas and the other end was really cold. Their ductless ac/heating unit is awesome!! No more hot and cold spots. Best investment I have made. It runs so quiet also. Mark was great in explaining how it worked and gave me estimates on different options available and not pushy at all. It was install quickly and efficiently by a great crew. I would recommend them to any one looking for ac additions. Don't let the distance stop you from calling them if you are on east side either. read more
