They installed a new unit in our attic. It was installed improperly from the very beginning . It also had a leak in the freon line and never cooled . They kept saying it was just the smart thermostat adjusting .. We asked for anew thermostat 4 months later . A Freon leak was discovered. A few months later it flooded my attic from poor insulation and bad back flow switch. They would not stand behind the purchase or installation. It also had faulty coils in the first few months and yet again less than a year later . Never heard from them . I called the city and they never had the unit and installation permitted .. NEGATIVE Zero 0 stars.. I bought an entire air conditioning system from them just over a year ago.. inside and out.. the unit has been a problem ever since it was installed. Noisy, which required new parts to repair.. numerous visits.. which was resolved just about 3 months ago.. then now a new problem developed where the unit doesn't cool lower than 79°. I reached out to them about this and now they wanted to charge an outrageous service fee they claim because now the 1 year service warranty has expired,.... NEVER buy an AC system from them. I am giving this company 5 stars because it is well deserved. The company installed a new Ameristar unit for me. One gentleman came to jy house and measured the rather tight space for the unit and answered all my questions. I had the feeling that he was the right guy to tell you the truth....just the way it is. The install team were 3 techs and worked remarkably fast and clean. This team was professional, again answered all of my questions and cautious about Corona. I spoke with two different ladies from the office, Tiffany and another lady, and both were absolutely nice, accomodative for the install appointment, they returned my call and mailed me a warranty for the unit. We called yesterday to request service due to an issue with our heat. They called to confirm the appointment time around 2pm yesterday and gave us an estimated arrival of between 9-11am. At 8 a.m. this morning the office called to get more details to ensure they were prepared and had the proper equipment/parts. They requested the model number which I appreciated so they were sure they had everything they needed. About 50 min later the technician sent me a text letting me know he would be here at 9:15/9:30. He took time upon arrival to understand our issue and tested the system several times prior to recommending we replace specific pieces. I really appreciated his promptness, knowledge and trying several options prior to replacing specific parts. I highly recommend Ace!! read more

It's a roll of the dice when you try to find a repair person to come into your home and get your appliance back up and running. Ace was awesome. Would have come the same day I called, but I scheduled it for the next. They charge $79 for the call, then they figure out the problem and give you a quote. If you agree to have them fix it, then there is no $79 charge. I wasn't home, so my wife had to meet the guy. Unfortunately, I don't know his name, but he was awesome. He showed her what the problem was and how she could fix it. He talked to her about brands that he thought were the best, Whirlpool. And he preferred the older simpler ones as opposed to the newer, more expensive and fancier ones. Those older ones tend to be more reliable, easier to fix and thus cheaper to fix. Also suggested that when we buy a home, always look for where the dryer vent is. You want it on or near the ground. If it comes out on the roof and there is an issue, then someone, maybe you, has to go up on the roof. Anyhow, you get the picture. I chose them based on a Yelp review so I felt I had to do my part. I put in a call right as they opened this morning and someone was out to my house within an hour! The service both on the phone and in person was exemplary. Troy was excellent and most importantly honest. While we're not sure we're out of the woods yet with needing a new AC unit he has provided troubleshooting service throughout the day to make sure all other possible are explored before we bite the bullet on a new unit. The front desk Lady at Ace tested my equipment to help narrow down the issue and supplied me with the right component to get ol' Mildred back up and running (named after my grandmother who brought great warmth to my life). Went shopping for a range top radiant element, try several part stores, they wanted over 200.00 dollars and 3 to 7 business day for delivery, told then I could all most buy a new range, to for get it. Went to Ace Air Conditioning and parts, walk in and was treaded with respect and professionalism as a Veteran form the company employees, told them the part I needed, they look it up quick and order it for me, and Half the prices from other stores and would be their the next day, all within five minutes. walk out with a smile on my face and extra money in my wallet. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I show them a picture of my contactor and the girl didn't know what it was. Then they sold me the wrong one saying it would work for my unit. It didn't. If I could give zero stars I would. This company and it's owner Troy are unprofessional and I do not recommend anyone let their employees into your home. Their employee Garrett came into my home to install a dishwasher, and to cut corners he pushed my counter top up about an inch to shove it under the counter! This pulled all the caulking out from under our entire counter around the sink area! We called and let Ace know what had happened, and they told us someone would be back out. When Garrett arrived, he told us we needed to cut our wood floors to install the dishwasher properly. We then paid an additional $100 to have a handy man come out and fix the floor. When Garrett came back again, he was clearly upset as he said the "F" word over 30 times in front of my baby. He then proceeded to attempt to charge us for installing the dishwasher again (even though we had already paid him to do so), did not offer to pay for damages, and called my husband an a**hole when he told him he wasn't going to pay again. The company offered us a full refund when they found out what happened, however a few days later we realized the entire island the counter is on had been improperly drilled into and was now dislodged from the dishwasher and counter. We called back to let them know what had happened, and Troy the owner called my husband to let him know we didn't have any "evidence" they had done the damage and we could take him to court if we wanted our kitchen fixed! I am blown away this is how the owner of a company would handle business. Our kitchen is now damaged, thanks to these fine folks. My advice, stay FAR away unless you want to pay out of your own pocket for any damages their lazy employees might make to your home! When I posted this as a review, the owner Troy accused my husband, who just had lung surgery and has weight lifting restrictions of no more than 10 lbs., of being the one that adjusted the dishwasher after his employee had left our home and pushed the countertop up. Why would we go behind someone we had just paid over $100 to have the dishwasher installed and mess with their work? His story is fabricated, not sure if the owner thought it up or the shady tech that came to our home. read more

This place will gouge you hard and will not show any remorse. I had just purchased a condensor fan motor for over $150, after a 10% discount. They are under $90, with no discount, all day long at supply houses across the country, including Grainger. Extremely high markup, even for licensed contractors, like myself. Lesson learned the hard way. Only reason I went there was they were open on Saturday. They smugly stated - "The price is the price". read more

Called because AC, although set on 78, kept flipping over to 83. Repairman came out, identified the problem and reset it in 10 minutes. Then, called the office ... and obtained permission to screw me. He ripped me off for $299 for purportedly recharging Freon in a 3 year old (brand new) Trane sealed unit e.g. no freon required.
