Cupcakes are $2 each on Tuesdays, so I stopped by to purchase a few for friends. The guy working behind the counter was very helpful, and I ended up buying more than I had planned. I bought Key Lime, Cinnamon Roll, Chocoholic, Cookies n' Cream, Cookie Butter, and B Original flavors. Note that their website hasn't been updated to show some of these flavors and their cake pops. They actually have a Hennessy cupcake for ages 21+! All were deliciously buttery and rich. My favorite was the Cookie Butter cupcake, and my friends were very excited about having locally-baked treats. I was pleased with the service and the cupcakes tasted amazing. There's not many local brick and mortar bakeries in this side of town, so this place is definitely worth a trip. read more

First time visit: meh. There's fabulous cupcake shop in downtown Dallas TX of which I measure every other cupcake against. I'm not a fan of the cream cheese frostings used here, but the base cake at least tastes good. Ganache frostings would make them superb and worthy of the $3 price tag. $2 Tuesdays are a nice touch as well as the 21+ alcohol infused flavors which I was told are only served on weekends. I've traveled all over and I always stop at a cupcake place in every place that I visit, and I've found nothing that compares to B Cupcakes! They literally taste like mini cakes and the icing flavor is so rich. They are always so moist and fresh. The service is great! They have a rewards program and once you get a certain number of visits you get a free cupcake. I've told all my family and friends about them. We wanted to be whimsical with our wedding cake so we decided to go with a cupcake tower for ours. We have always love B's for cupcakes so we were happy to find out they do wedding cakes too! Our colors were black , white and red so we decided on red velvet cake and cupcakes. White fondant with black frosting details and red velvet cake inside and cream cheese filling. Needless to say both cake and cupcakes were delicious! As for the staff, they are awesome. Always friendly! They provided the tower and delivered just before the reception and set everything for us. Disappointed in the cupcakes. I don't know if it was a Tuesday deal that did it ($2 cupcakes on Tuesdays), or if they just aren't good. I got 7 cupcakes and all 7 had cake that tasted stale. I put one in the microwave a few seconds and that helped a little but then the icing was all melty. I bought these for my stepdads birthday, and I wasn't happy with how they turned out. UGH, SO GOOD. I am an avid cupcake lover, and always on the search for the best cupcake around. I don't even want to admit how many different flavors I've tried or how many times I've had them...just know I would be considered an expert. This most recent time I got mint chocolate (and really almost every time I go I get this one..as in my all time absolute favorite - never disappoints), carrot, and a cookies and cream one - and of course they come in a cute pink bakery box. Okay I am not a cupcake or a sweets eater..but this place off of SEmoran could chase my mind! I have been here twice now and yum yum yum. I ordered the coconut crusted lemon cupcake and it was mmm mmmm good. My girlfriend had the red velvet. Why do I like these better than other sweet places or foods? The cupcakes are made with flavor not sugar! It was not too sweet at all but rich and seasoned just right. There was even a lemon burst oozing out the middle of the cupcake. Service was with a smile on both visits and the shop seems to be clean and cozy! My suggestion to take it to 5 stars would be to have single cupcake containers which really hold the cupcake up. I had to get my single cupcake gift in a 2 cupcake box and it spilled over. No bueno especially when spending $3 per cupcake or it may be $2 on $2 Tuesday ( not applicable for all flavors though). Yay for a cupcake place in Apopka! After seeing reviews on Yelp I searched out B Cupcakes, which is located on 436 near Hunt Club in the same shopping center as Lifestyle Fitness and Gators Dockside. The shop is bright and clean and reminds me of one of the fro-yo places. They had an impressive assortment of cupcakes behind the glass (see picture). I thought they were a little pricey at $3 a pop, but they were slightly bigger than other cupcake shops. I chose three: classic buttercream (pick for breast cancer awareness month), red raspberry and red velvet. My favorite was the raspberry. It had a luscious icing piled high with a cake with streaks of tart raspberry sauce. Yum. The classic was good too. The cake part tastes like a cross between angel food cake and pound cake- they are lighter than a regular cupcake but still moist. Nicely done B Cupcakes! read more

My mom did what grandmas do best- spoil their grandchildren ... my little guy got his first full cupcake and OMG he instantly fell in love. She gave him the coconut cupcake. It was a vanilla cake with a coconut rum frosting. He death gripped it and shoveled the whole thing in his mouth in 30 seconds flat it seemed. The little bit that he shared was unbelievable. The cake was a perfect consistency. It was so moist and the perfect weight. It wasn't too dense or too crumbly. It was light and delicious. The frosting was so spectacular. It was a wonderful balance of sweetness and rum so that it wasn't overkill on top of a sweet vanilla cake. The chocolate baileys cake was really good! My brother fell into it. He only had good things to say. Unfortunately the white chocolate raspberry was the one I was looking forward to the most- that is my two favorites combined and it was a let down. When they gave me the cake it was covered with plastic flowers and a picture of the design I gave them. They told me that was the cake. Oh how I love B Cupcakes. There really isn't a better cupcake in the Orlando area. This place is the best by a mile. I was trying to think of someplace with fabulous cakes for my husbands birthday. I knew that B Cupcakes also do whole cakes and my husbands favorite cupcake here is the Baileys. You have to try their over 21 cupcake line. Lucky for me they will do an entire baileys cake. Everybody raved about this cake. The chocolate cake was rich and moist and obviously fresh. So much better then your average grocery store cake. The frosting is a rich butter cream that has a distinct buttery flavor with a hint of baileys Irish cream. I'm on a pretty strict diet right now but couldn't deny myself a small slice. It was so worth it. I may love their cakes even more then their cupcakes now. My only suggestion would be to make sure those answering the phone are professions and trained. When I placed the order by phone I didn't hang up with much confidence that there would be a cake waiting for me to pick up. I called the day before to confirm and everything seemed to be in order. So you can only imagine my disappointment this past week when my daughter surprised me and got me 2 dozen to enjoy. unfortunately the cupcakes were dry, overcooked and tasted as though they were cooked the day before. I did call and was told they ( the girl on the phone who called the owner) would either give me $30 store credit for future orders or refund a dozen $48 back to my daughters card. The cupcakes are not cheap and should taste much better than I received . seeing I don't plan to go back I asked for the credit card refund. That didn't happen and was only refunded $30.
