Chocolate Mousse Croissant, cream puff and a cream filled croissant

Super cute German Bakery and Deli. Loved the place, they have delicious sweets and in the back they have the deli. I underestimated the chocolate Mousse Croissant, it was Devine, try it you won't be sorry

I was in the area for a wedding and this bakery is the closest to the hotel. My sister went the day before and said the egg and cheese crossing she got was delicious and buttery and there were a wide array of pastry. She got a slice of the Black Forest cake and I thought it was ok. The texture felt mushy and it didn't taste chocolatey. For breakfast I ordered the bratwurst and a croissant. The croissant seemed to been toasted too long and the bratwurst was ok. My sisters said the egg cross isn't sandwich was not nice and buttery like the day before and the egg was overcooked . I tried the tiramisu cake slice and did not get any coffee flavour in the cake Or icing. The caramel macchiato was delicious. The service I received from both the bakery and deli were good. The bakery has all their deserts on display with the title of the item and the ingredients . The deli had pictures of the food that they offered .

This place is absolutely incredible. Everything we had was sooooooo good! The workers were very kind and helpful. The atmosphere was very charming. We will definitely be back to try more!

This is a cute place to visit. A German bakery where all items are made fresh daily. And it gets PACKED! Heard about this place from a coworker and had to go try it out. We had lunch there and then got some baked goods. Overall everything was delicious! They do have a few tables indoors as well as a small patio area for eating your goodies there. Plenty of parking. I think my favorite was the pretzel and the blueberry pie! So delicious! A must try place!

The bakery is really the standout thing here. The chocolate is so good, rich, smooth, and yummy. High quality ingredients. The pretzel roll (we ate it before we even got a picture!) was really good too. Not tons of indoor seating, but plenty of outdoor shaded seating. 5 stars! The deli side is not bad, but nothing noteworthy. The ingredients are quality though. We might have given JUST the deli a 3 star. Mostly, we recommend checking this out for the bakery and sweets. This place was busy at lunchtime and parking was a little busy! Pricing was fair overall. It's in line with the quality of the food.

We were on our way for our annual Memorial Day in Mt. Dora when we passed this curious bakery seemingly in the middle of nowhere. I turned around, found a parking space, and entered an amazing place. I'm sorry, no photos of the displays of lots of pastries and home baked breads. Just so many to chose from. Or course you wait in line, no numbers given, but everyone is so nice. We had some rhubarb creme thing and a poppyseed pastry. Enjoyed eating them in the beer garden. Took home an apple strudel for my husband. Everything was fresh, with fresh ingredients. My only complaints is that I think they are made for American tastes - much too sweet. I imagine there are different types of apple strudel. I'm used to a strudel that is solid apple slices wrapped in flakey dough. This one seemed to be some apple in apple sauce. It was ok, husband enjoyed. All was worth the stop.

Stumbled across this bakery by accident and it was the best detour ever! I ended up driving there the next day as well to try more pastries. Chocolate mousse croissant 10/10 so rich and smooth and i love how the mousse is slightly cold, kinda feels like im eating an ice cream and it's refreshing. Chocolate croissant 10/10! Ham and Cheese croissant is amazing too! 9/10 Oatmeal cookie is pretty decent too, nothing out of this world though. The pecan pie was pretty good. The coffee is also pretty good as well. The girls are super sweet and helpful, definitely very patient as well lol (i had a lot of options) the ambience is perfect too, i love the live music and the patio. everything feels super homey and cozy.

I have a lot of respect for bakeries because it's hard work and it's a true art form. A good friend of mine requested this German bakery to me and I'm really glad he did. We loved the outdoor seating and it was very relaxing. There was a small stage and someone was singing old folk German songs as people enjoy coffee, pastries and sandwiches. The large pretzel with mustards and beer cheese was very good, it took 2 people to finish it. Everything was tasty & freshly baked. The area where u order sandwiches looked like it can be updated a bit as far as aesthetics. The outdoor seating could have been a bit more cleaned up. Maybe we missed breakfast rush ? Other than that we really enjoyed the experience and will be back with more family. Cheers

What a great place off the beaten path. This place has an amazing bakery counter that makes it almost impossible to choose. We got a loaf of their garlic sourdough which has been great for sandwiches. We also tried the almond croissant, peanut butter cup, chocolate chip cookie and Bavarian croissant. Everything was amazing and we can't wait to go back.

I truly don't understand why this place is so popular. My Wife and I had lunch at the attached deli. Both had 1/2 sandwich and a cup of soup. Our sandwiches were uninspired and almost tasteless. Never again. Our meals seemed like what you'd eat at a prison cafeteria. Wife's onion soup was inedible. She complained, the bread was soaked and there was no cheese on the top. She tossed it in the trash. The lighting inside consists of harsh fluorescent like you find in a doctor's waiting room. The young man taking orders at the walk up counter didn't look like he was enjoying his job. This will be my last visit to this German bakery.

Yahala Bakery Unfortunately this past Sunday we stopped by your place for the first time. After visiting the inlaws nearby walked in and behind the counter you had all your sourdough breads I ask the girl behind the counter I was taking a chocolate sourdough located on your top row I watched her grab it place it in the bag I paid and the drove home 1 hour drive to Oviedo FL. to then find out after I slice it that it wasn't a chocolate sourdough bread but some sort of berrys and nut bread. Super disappointed as my wife cant have any nuts being allergic. I have been enjoying by my self but I post so this wont happen to any other customer in the near future. Also if your buying sourdough or any bread have them slice it that way you make sure you're getting the correct thing. I opted not to slice it as I could do so at home and got burned mever again.

We found parking easily and were greeted immediately inside the restaurant. The restaurant was busy, lively, and felt cozy. There was happy hour specials($5 appetizers and beer) going on when we arrived so we decided to order off that menu. To do so, you do have to order at the bar so keep that in mind. We were led to the bar room and it was spacious and alot more quiet than the main dining area. Our server was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. We had the following: Pretzel with mustard and cheese: 7.5/10 - it was a bit salty but combined with the sweet mustard was delicious! Since it was the smaller version of their giant pretzel, it was only $5 and worth every penny! It was a pretty good size and enough to share between the both of us. I liked the cheese spread too but it was bit rich for me. The mustard was definitely our favorite dip! Potato pancakes with applesauce and sour cream: 9/10 - this was by far my favorite appetizer. The potato pancakes were fried perfectly and the crispy edges were delightful! I didn't think I would enjoy apple sauce and sour cream together but it worked so well with the fried pancake. It cuts through the grease and adds a little sweetness. The portion size was hefty too for $5! Bratwurst with hot mustard: 8/10 - There were a variety of flavors we could choose from and I chose cajun since I love spicy flavors. The bratwurst was cooked perfectly and it was also cut into pieces for easy eating. For $5 you get a big bratwurst and some mustard. I wish it was a little spicier but nonetheless, it was juicy, flavorful, and had that signature snap of a great bratwurst. Jaeger schnitzel: 9/10 - my husband chose the veal and he said it's one of the best schnitzels he's ever eaten. I could see the joy in his face in each and every single bite. It came with warm, pickled cabbage and spaetzle. The schnitzel and spaetzle were covered in this absolutely delightful gravy. I had a bite of everything and it was divine! My husband has lived in Germany and he said it was very reminiscence of his time there. It was a pretty hefty portion too and I knew he loved it when he cleaned his plate completely haha Apple streusel: 9/10 - The apples combined with the flakiness of the pastry and hints of cinnamon was like a warm, cozy hug on a winter day. I cannot explain to you how yummy this was. The pastry itself was light, airy, and each bite made us smile. Definitely try this dessert out! German beer: 9/10 - Husband enjoyed his beer very much and I took a sip. It tasted pretty light and not too heavy. Overall, we will definitely be coming back if we're in the area. Service and food were absolutely great! Prices were reasonable for the portion size too! It's located in a really cute historic area that was perfect for a mid day date or to walk around and explore. They also have their own German cafe/market that you can snacks, cookies, cakes, candies, meats, cheeses, etc. from too!

Next, we had chicken schnitzel and jaeger schnitzel covered in mushroom gravy with spaetzle and sauerkraut or red cabbage served warm with a hint of cinnamon. Portion sizes were good to excellent. Service was SLOW. Our table was the first seated just before 6 pm. First out was a slice of banana bread cut into four strips followed by a basket of delicious and slightly sweet bread. Over the two hour meal, there were only 3 tables of diners in the restaurant, 4 staff including the twins and chef, yet things took a very long time to come out to the table. Service was very slow by American standards so be prepared for that. We overheard another table asking about substituting and the server always had to go ask - it doesn't seem that substitutions are encouraged or welcome. Sides are set by the chef and you can choose your soup du jour or salad (side or cucumber). Buyer beware that soda refills DO cost 99 cents ‍

The place had some outdoor seating, but at 52 degrees outside, we needed to sit at one of the 5 indoor tables. Victoria, our server showed us the limited menu for the night. They appeared to be regulars since they asked about the two for one drink special that was part of their prior attendance and Victoria said it was still available. Well, we then jumped on that, since she did not tell us about it. I ordered Jaeger Schnitzel with red cabbage and mashed potatoes. My wife had the bourbon chicken with rice. Photos show what we had. The food was ok, the chicken dish had a kind of curry flavor, and ample chicken pieces, but no vegetables, just a dinner roll. My dinner had limited mushroom gravy on the breaded pork cutlet and on the mashed potatoes. When the bill was presented, I noticed an extra $1.00 charge for the red cabbage. And the entry was priced $2.00 more than the website price was on their site. My fault for not asking. Supply shortages cause changes, but it would have been beneficial to ask the prices. The service was prompt, food good, but not exceptional and the place has potential. Just needs more customers to get the kinks out.

I was a bit early for my pickup, and while I waited I was even offered a water. It smells so incredible in here that I was already so excited for my meal. I ordered the Polish plate, because it's my first experience trying Polish cuisine. I wanted an opportunity to try many different dishes, and this plate included Golabki, Potato & Cheese Pierogis, Potato Pancakes, and one Polish Sausage. A friend of mine raved about his mother's golabki for years, so naturally I started my meal with that. Wow, it was incredible! It almost reminded me of a spaghetti dish with its vivid tomato flavor. I really love that the roll holds together well when you're eating it with a knife and fork. I'm going to ask my friend for a recipe because it seems like it would be a good go to meal. I think my next favorite item was the polish sausage. I do enjoy eating sausages, but sometimes I'm just not a fan of how some are seasoned. That wasn't a problem with this polish sausage, because it was delicious and flavored just to my liking. Now pierogis I have tried before, and I'm not sure if they are polish origin or a neighboring country, but I have always enjoyed them. These cheese and potato pierogis were exactly as I expected them. They were cooked well and stuffed with filling. I shared a few with my nephew who is a bit picky, and to our surprise he was enjoying them. I would definitely give another flavor option a try! The final item was the potato pancakes and I think they were cooked well, but I think I would have preferred a little more salt to bring out the flavor. I plan to research Polish food after this visit and see how each dish is usually eaten. There were 3 condiments that accompanied my meal, but I didn't use them. For the most part, each dish was delicious all on its own. The Polish plate is definitely enough to share between 2 people, and you'd probably have just enough room for dessert as well. I know the pistachio cheesecake will definitely see me, if I find myself in the Daytona beach area again! Thank you Dill Schnitzel & Pierogi House for an amazing first experience with Polish cuisine!

Loved the European decor! I was there on a Tuesday night and there were only 2 other tables sat so pretty dead at the time. Server was lovely, cheerful, and helpful! They don't have a full bar but do serve beer and wine so was able to get a glass of vino. I really wanted schnitzel and pierogies but unfortunately you can only get the pierogies by the dozen (unless you get the big combo meal which comes with 6 rogis and a shit ton of other food). Problem was, I had a 6am flight the next morning so no way I would be able to eat any leftovers. I asked if there was ANY way I could just get like 2 rogis and she unfortunately said no (I totally get it, but maybe add smaller options in the future!). So I went with a cup of borscht soup and the pork schnitzel. The soup was served hot (I've only ever had it cold) and was very good! The schnitzel was legit the biggest schnitzel I've ever seen in my life and it's a GOOD THING I didn't get rogis in addition to it lol. I immediately cut it in half and was only able to eat that much. I got the mushroom sauce too and that was so yummy with the schnitzel! The potatoes and slaw were very good too, loved how refreshing the slaw was!! You would never think to look for this kind of food in Daytona of all places, but it's definitely worth a stop! If I had anyone dining with me, I could see getting a few dishes to split because of how large the schnitzel was. Wonderful place with great service and delicious food, just wish I was able to try those rogis!
