She did it again! I needed cupcakes for my friend's 50th birthday party and she did not disappoint. The cupcakes were perfect! They were moist and packed with flavor and the perfect size for a stand up party. She made almond cupcakes with vanilla buttercream and strawberry filling. Everyone raved about the cupcakes and asked who made them! Victoria is also really great to work with. We emailed back and forth to get the order right while I was traveling. She made it so easy for me to plan this order, and I was also able to pay through an online invoice system. It made it much easier when I arrived to pick them up to have them paid. read more

This was a great find for getting my daughter a gluten free cake for her 5th birthday party. After my main cake last decided to take a break I needed to find someone who can make a Felicia, flavorful, spanish cake they way my mother likes them. Although it's not the Spanish way (usually a little denser) I found that Victoria cakes passes the test of my mother's picky palette. To be honest with you her cakes ARE DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!. EVERY 3 months or so I get a call for me to order my mom her cake. Every inspiration I have provided she has executed without using fondant. Ok, I have been seeing people talk about this place for awhile. I went buy once before and they were sold out for the day, but today was my lucky day. I tried the Lime bundt and the peanut butter with chocolate cake. The both were really moist and fresh. I tasted the lime and it was just was hoping for. The peanut butter may have been even better. This bakery seemed to open either right before or during the pandemic and seem to have survived with a great product. They website shows plenty of great items you can order. Good place but they usually don't have much left went I visited on a the weekend. Our first experience was out of this world amazing- the Bundt cakes and cookies were beyond good and the lady that helped us was sweet. The second time we got a large bundt and ate it the next day but I guess we should have refrigerated it as it was firm. We didn't get much assistance this time and they were pretty sold out so the second experience was very different. That being said we will try again one day because of our first experience and because it is so wonderful to have a homemade bundt cake option semi-nearby and we like to support local. read more

My husband and I Went to Sanford for the Asian Lanterns (Also awesome) and visited Simply Homemade 1913 because we always travel the roads less traveled. Nestled on a side street and a quant "Bakery" sign with a welcoming bench outside; We knew it would be special. Special? Simply AMAZING is what we would rename it! Our first visit was enchanted; Because of Victoria (Owner) and her passion and how she treats her employees and visitors. We bought only 1 Blueberry Bundt cake; to "try" we left after a very nice conversation and sat by the water to "try" it...Here is where the AMAZING comes...Before that, I want you to know I am a foodie, used to work for the airlines/Government and have traveled extensively...This Bundt cake was unbelievable! After walking the whole Bundt cake off (and only giving my husband a bite) I told him that I would not go home without returning to the bakery and buying more and expressing my thoughts to Victoria! We did just that. A local, hardworking lady, giving more of herself every day; and the community plus, those that visit...try her baked goods as you will benefit from her giving. Thank you!
