At the time he came, I had not driven it in awhile and had some issues with squirrels. But I had it fixed and drove regularly since and confirmed with a local shop. I called wondering if I could have him come out to fix it (I thought labor was covered under warranty). He said it wasn't and started saying that he has never had issues in 10 years and he wouldn't come out because gas was too expensive. I am willing to pay someone (including him) to fix it, but opted not to go with him because he was speaking unkindly and accusing the other mechanic of being wrong. I am disappointed in the service and follow up. I would suggest going to a local shop instead of someone who travels.

I found Sprint Motorsports online and gave them a call. I spoke with James and found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful. We scheduled an appointment for the upcoming Friday. I had purchased the Porsche on Tuesday and was in need of a Smog certificate. Unbeknownst to me, to pass a California smog inspection the inspector needs to look at the top of the engine to inspect for modifications. Problem is, both of the smog shops I went to refused to remove the interior pieces covering the engine due to "liability issues". This was really hanging me out to dry as DMV only allowed me a 1 day registration to drive the car to get it smogged. Since I had spoken with James the day before to schedule my oil change I thought I'd reach out to him and see if he could help me get the car "opened up" for the smog check within my 1 day timeline that was quickly coming to an end. I got James on the phone and he said "bring it over". When I arrived he dropped what he was doing and pulled the interior apart and removed the engine cover. He really got me out of a jam and didn't ask for anything in return. I then got the car smogged went and got my registration handled and I was good to go! All thanks to James! This is the kind of service that is rare to find these days. My appointment on Friday went as smooth as can be and I will make Sprint Motorsports my shop from now on. I got the PPF with Ceramic tint and window tinting. For $4300 and a "Certified Installer" I figured I couldn't go wrong ! WRONG ! It took this man 3 times to get it right , the first time taking over 2 weeks. There were bubbles so I had to go back a second time to have the bubbles corrected.... Another week. Then a THIRD time because there were bubbles again. He offered to come to my house to do it but only because I was going to take him to court for a refund. The third time has been successful, but here is the kicker ... he contacted me a year later and wanted to do a check up on his work, so I agreed and came all the way back he did his check around the car , maybe washed it , I don't recall now, but then tried to charge me for the visit , like $200 I think.
