Can you image sit in a van for 7 days and under every seat, they put water supply under the seat, not just the seat super small , I can't even stretch my leg at all. Air condition even worse. After 2nd day, I just pay, I can't eat any of that food anymore. They choice the Chinese restaurant alone in the plaza, so I can't go other nearby restaurant to eat at all. The last day we need to combine w other tour bus to go back ( finally we can sit in the real bus), tour guy ask us to pay $65 each for tip before we move to other bus. After we pay the tip, he basically just throw us out the van, don't care about us at all. No one tell us where to seat , no help for moving the luggage . We went to the bus, don't know where to sit, but get yell by the people already in the bus , says " go to the back. You can't sit in the front " who knows, the seat was empty.... wth.... Very unprofessional, I don't care they might be cheaper( I never compare) but if you're in business, need to have right conscience to serve your customer . Bad bad choice to go with this agent . I had asked for us to be kept busy, which we were - booked onto many tours that the hotels apparently bundle for agents. My biggest complaint is regarding the hotel in Paris, which we were told was in Montmartre, but which was actually right by Gare du Nord station - and in fact, if you look up our hotel it is listed as being in Gare du Nord; an apparently notoriously shady area with tons of pick-pockets. After 5 nights, 1 stolen wallet, and 1 stolen cell phone, we requested to be relocated by our agent. Within an hour, she told us it was impossible. Perhaps she checked every hotel in Paris in less than an hour, and truly there were no options, but she never should have put us there to begin with. Her advice was to take a cab from then on in order to be safer, avoid the graffiti-ridden, shady-looking character littered streets, and nearby metro (adding a great unplanned expense to our trip). When the cab we ordered didn't come in time to take us to a scheduled tour, and I tried to reach her for help, much too late, she said we should have ordered the cab 48 hours in advance (we didn't even have 48 hours notice that we couldn't move hotels) - that since I spent some time in Paris with my daughter 20 years ago, I should have known that. Every single person who found out where we were staying gasped, and said it was a terrible and unsafe location, no surprise we were robbed...twice - restaurant owners, the police, our friend who lives in the countryside in France, fellow travelers on tours. So, why would our travel agent not know? I wouldn't use this agency again, because I feel if an agent is unfamiliar with an area, they owe it to clients to insure their safety by finding out which areas are best, and which are dangerous. That seems basic to me.
