I'll give you the decent stuff first: -they came back twice…read moreafter the initial install of their system to try to fix water issues we were still having, and did not charge us for these repairs (ie- they honored their contract) -the workers who have come have been nice and worked hard But here's the bad stuff -so far they've had to come back twice to fix water issues which their initial install was supposed to handle. This is especially bad since we can't make our basement livable (putting down flooring, fixing walls, etc) until we know there are no more water issues so we've been without the use of 1/4 of our house for over half a year now and a good chunk of the rest of the house has the basement stuff crowded into it. This has made living difficult- especially with sheltering in place and virtual school! -getting them to come is extremely difficult. Numerous times they've scheduled a time only to cancel last minute. And if having to adjust your family's schedules to accommodate their appointment only to have to adjust again last minute on multiple occasions isn't bad enough, each time it's weeks or even months before they have an opening on their calendar. What should have taken two or three weeks max has taken over six months -their system is extremely expensive- tens of thousands of dollars!

We paid $10,000 for our crawlspace to be encapsulated in 2023. I would think the key aspect of…read morekeeping the crawlspace dry is the dehumidifier. The one this company installed in 2023 quit working in 2024 after the one year warranty expired and I had to pay $1,000 to have another one installed. March 2025 the dehumidifier quit again. I called and they sent a technician out here and he said the company no longer uses those dehumidifiers. He inferred that they are of substandard quality and if I purchased another it would be quite expensive. He checked the dehumidifier and said my electrical outlet had switched it off. So, I paid an electrician to replace the outlet with one that doesn't automatically switch off. The dehumidifier continued to quit working. So, I asked an HVAC company to come and check it out. He said the dehumidifier is fills with water and cuts off because it isn't draining properly. He emptied it out and said it hadn't been correctly installed. He said it needed a condensation pump and the tubing needed to be replaced. I tried to reach someone at Crawlspaces and More and for weeks never received a return call. I finally received an email from Jim and he said he would come out and make sure the dehumidifier was on and charge me $200. I told them to forget it. I called a reputable company and they installed a very nice dehumidifier and replaced the door to my crawlspace. Ours was wood and rotted because it was decades old. They said Crawlspaces and More should have replaced it to thoroughly encapsulate the crawlspace. The new company installed a custom fit door that is air tight and sealed. I would not recommend Crawlspaces and More.
