I love this coffee shop! This shop is located in Wayfinder Hotel along Kanekakapolei Street. The menu has quite a few options to choose from, and if you're hungry, they offer pastries and cookies as well! The baristas are super friendly if you have questions, and there's plenty of counter seating available as well as comfortable seats in the lobby waiting area. It doesn't take very long for the baristas to prepare drinks; usually if I'm the only one waiting, it may only take 1-2 minutes. I typically love ordering the Vietnamese coffee here, as it's the right balance of strong/bitter and sweet. The drink is a lil expensive but to be expected as the shop is located in Waikiki. Currently B-side is one of my go-to shops to get my caffeine fix! Definitely will try other drinks here! read more

I've seen mixed reviews about the customer service, but I had a pleasant experience. The two baristas were friendly and quick! I ordered an iced horchata latte. I didn't request non-dairy, but I believe the drink is pre-made with dairy. Delicious, reminiscent of a dirty chai. About a 1-1.5: The B-Side Coffee Bar can be found by the entrance of the Wayfinder - I ordered one of their signature drinks, the Coconut Golden Milk Latte. Unfortunately, the coffee didn't come out extra hot as requested, and the beverage itself was super watered down and tasteless. Really disappointing, considering the rave reviews on this place. Cute little coffee bar! We stayed in the Wayfinder and came down here twice for coffee. First day we made the mistake of coming at about 7:30am and most of the pastries were already sold out/not available. I ordered a Coconut Golden Milk Latte and my husband ordered an an Iced Americano. The drinks were pretty good and the bagels we ended up getting were also good. Service was quick considering there was only 1 barista. Second day instead of getting an Iced Americano we received it hot. No big deal, was still good. I tried a Horchata Latte this time (delicious) and getting some muffins which were pretty good. Good option for this area if you don't want to walk too far for coffee. Gotta say I was blown away by this coffee! It's located inside the Wayfinder Hotel, which is where we stayed, and honestly I just assumed the coffee in the hotel wouldn't be very good... I was so wrong. I am so glad we gave it a shot. The service is top notch. So much aloha plus great & honest recommendations. We got the Fall Special which was the Ulu Spiced Latte with ice. YUMMM! I'd say this was the second best coffee we had on the Island (we tried 8 coffee shops). Really really great stuff! They also have cocktails, beer, pastries, sandwiches, etc etc if you so desire. The theme is super cute & retro, and there's also a cute little merch section :) If you aren't staying at the hotel, parking is street or valet so I would recommend walking or just know it'll take you a bit to find a spot. B-Nice is what's this place is... You can't miss this place as it's just the first thing you see as you head up the ramp at the Wayfinder Hotel, taking up a great amount of the entrance this lovely coffee bar is simple giving off a kind of modern retro vibe does sound strange but is the best I can come up with lol! Coffee Bar is appropriate as it's a huge counter with a display case right in the middle filled with yummies which majority seems to be a grab and go items though since I did come later in the day it was all they had, and being open from 6am with food delivered at around 8ish it has been there for quite some time so I passed on a snack. This coffee bar has all the usual coffee, cold brew, espresso drinks, teas and blended drinks. What makes them special is they also have alcohol here as well. Wines, draft beers, and a few signature cocktails hmmm it's always noon somewhere right!? Since in Waikiki I decided on a Signature Proof-Free drink "Wake Up Slow" which is Orange and Pineapple Juice with Hibiscus...how cool is that, very cool in fact it looked like stunning sunset. Sitting at the open-air super long counter taking in the traffic view I noticed that they have some outlet to keep your electronics alive was a nice touch and decided to take advantage of that and enjoyed my sip while I fed my phone. While I waited for my drink I browsed their merchandise section at the end of the bar which is decently extensive and has some pretty lovely items from stickers, mugs, cooler bag and water bottles all are great items for visitors and locals to enjoy. B-Side Coffee Bar at the Wayfinder Hotel is a hidden gem in Waikiki! I opted for their Coconut Golden Milk Latte (which features olena/turmeric, honey, and coconut milk). With two shots of espresso it was just the right start to my day. The flavors are complex-not what my palate is used to when it comes to coffee, but an enjoyable experience nonetheless. Wife and I visited Waikiki for the first time and found an Airbnb right across the street. This spot is open to the public and has open air seating to enjoy the canal view. Coffee is great and they serve hot breakfast sandwiches/treats similar to Starbucks. Vibe is great and employees were super nice. We typically ordered a latte and they do have milk substitutes available. The ambiance matched the overall theme of the hotel and it was a good island vibe. Yesterday, 01/17/25, my coffee was excellent, just what I needed for a morning pick-me-up. Today, 01/18/26, I walked in and noticed two young ladies chatting. No big deal. I stood there, clearly ready to order coffee and a pastry, while looking at the menu. When their conversation ended, two women customers approached from behind me, and the cashier bypassed me, asking for their order instead. It was quite embarrassing not to be acknowledged. I'm visiting from California as a guest of the Polynesian Bowl and staying at the Aloha Surf across the street, who recommended this place. Had an unpleasant experience here that I ultimately walked off and took my business elsewhere. At around 10am yesterday, I made a visit to this coffee bar. It was not busy at all but the cashier was chatting with a customer so I waited patiently in line. As i was waiting in line, a lady behind me tries to yell her order to the baristas, who instructed her she needs to order at the register. As I go up to the register, next in line and ready to order, the cashier completely ignores me and helps the lady behind me... as I was standing right in front of her. No smile, no "hello, good morning". Paying $7 for a latte should get me a smile and a friendly "Hello". It's going to be difficult for this place to survive only on hotel guess, especially when non-hotel guests like me decide to go back to coffee places that are friendly to their customers. Nestled in the heart of Waikiki on the Ala Wai, B-side is a sight for the weary traveler. Open from 6am-5pm daily, B-side's menu consists of the typical coffee options, sandwiches, salads and smoothies. Also offered is a limited liquor selection, which includes cocktails and wine. PROS: Food- The food selection, while limited, is exceptional for a "grab and go" concept, rivaling even the likes of Starbucks. A must try is the Chicken, Pesto and Salami Sandwich. Slices of roasted pepper complement the ciabatta sandwich (which I highly suggest you ask the baristas to toast it). It's great for a quick bite on the go or to take back to your office. Also good to grab on a hot day is the iced Horchata latte. The creamy cinnamon concoction balances out the bitterness from the espresso, making it an ideal companion on a hot day Service- The staff at B-Side is exceptional, giving some of the friendliest customer service I have ever seen. During my visits, the baristas are chatty but aren't overbearing. It reminds me that there is still hope that food & beverage employees work to please the guest, not just collect a paycheck. Ambiance- B-Side is located in the lobby of the hotel and follows the same decor style of the hotel. Merchandise litters the wall facing the coffee shop and reminds one of being in a vinyl store (think 70's vibe but modern). WORKS IN PROGRESS Parking- While there is parking at the hotel, it is only valet. The other alternative is to park on the street. We visited on a Saturday at 12:30 pm and the barista told me she didn't have brew coffee. How can B-Side call themselves a coffee bar when they have no coffee? I could understand if it was right before closing, but it was still early in the day. Went to ABC instead and got a brew coffee for only $1.59 that hit the spot. read more

The manager Kelsey was very condescending and kind of rude. They won't make you a mimosa, even though they serve cocktails and have the ingredients. They charge for ice, depending on the day or who is working. Coffee was average, food is bland and overpriced. Not a great experience. read more

New Coffee Shop + Bar in the main lobby of the Wayfinder hotel (used to be Sand Villa) . All their spirits highlighting Hawaii's offerings as well as coffee beans sourced from Social Hour Maui... They also make avocado toast in house and offer pastries salads and sandwiches in their grab and go options if you're looking for something even quicker. The coffee is so good and definitely have to try the horchata latte, cold brew, and in house drip coffee. I personally like getting an oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon as I find that it pairs well with the espresso, but I like their other unique syrup flavors they have to offer such as the macadamia orgeot, chicory syrup, and sea salted caramel.
