Amazing hidden find close to our hotel! Da'Hi Brew is an adorable artisan coffee shop located in the Discovery Bay Center. While the focus seems to be on the coffee, they had some pretty tasty food options available too. Limited options but everything we tried was great. The shop is small so there aren't very many seating options inside but they do have patio seating directly outside the shop. Prices were very reasonable and customer service was excellent! Great escape from the expensive hotel breakfasts while also supporting local businesses, I highly recommend!
Tourist here: I am not down for chains, so found this hole in the wall coffee shop, really no room for sitting in the shop when people come to order, but they do have some seating outside the shop and they will bring your ur orders since its difficulty to wait inside.. now I can only vouch for the Coffee based on our orders, but damn it was sooo good... I tried the Dubai chocolate iced latte which came with whipped cream and chopped pistachios on top... yum.... The food... well it was easy but not standout.. the food did take much longer to come out bc the were busy for such a small place.. for the bagel Sammy and we also had the breakfast burrito.. I was told the burrito had some heat to it... no extra fixings...
We found this place on Yelp last Oct 2025 and came 3 times! The food is fantastic and the presentation makes it all the more tasty! The other and staff are very friendly and accommodating with requests! The avocado toast is so good we ate it each time. Highly recommend this little out of the way place! Best kept secret in Waikiki!
Great breakfast spot! The food came out nice and fresh, the value was excellent, and the waitress was super chill and friendly. Not a lot of seating inside but a good amount of patio seating that's covered. Nothing bad to say, this place was really solid. I'd give them more than a 5 if I could!
Food: The matcha tasted culinary grade, which is good, but was lacking some depth and had some slight grit in the texture. The mocha was fairly standard. Decent espresso for a cafe and a synthetic mocha. Nothing out of the ordinary, but I appreciate that they are open early. Service: For being as busy as they were, they greeted and acknowledged me upon entrance. The pair of ladies were very communicative and upbeat. The speed of service was quite efficient and they were very sincere. Ambiance: for being in a random mall off the Main Street they have a very local vibe. The inside is incredibly small, so only about 4 or 5 people can be in there at a time. The outdoor seating is a nice touch for those that want to sit around and enjoy their coffee.
Came to this coffee shop in Waikiki at breakfast. Da' HI Brew is one of the shops inside the Discovery Bay Center. It probably is the best thing in there. Almost everything else is fast food. The menu isn't big but there's some good basic choices as far as drinking and eating healthy. Breakfast is probably the busiest time to go. It's only got a few seats inside, but there's some more in front of it. The atmosphere is much better inside though. Feels like a dead mall on the outside. Seems coffee is the main thing. It's about $6 for a latte. Offers some non dairy milks including oat. Bagels are the main thing to eat. It's about $6 for a bagel with a spread. Cream cheese is the most popular. There's other toppings including avocado and sprouts. For sure it's a good place to start a morning at. It's located in the Discovery Bay Center at Ala Moana and Hobron. They have options for meat eaters and vegetarians.
I enjoyed my food here! I was staying at a nearby hotel and craving some breakfast food. The Breakfast Crunchwrap caught my eye. I ended up adding avocado and sprouts because my body was begging me for some vegetables haha It was pretty good! I enjoyed the crunch of the toasted tortilla! I wish they had a crunchy tostada layer in there like Taco Bell does with their crunchwraps. And I have a fun suggestion: a hot sauce in there (similar to Taco Bells) would really make the crunchwrap extra delicious. I say that because I happened to have had Taco Bell's mild sauce on me and it was the PERFECT condiment for this crunchwrap! Also some of the menu items are on their online menu, but not on all the in-store menus (like the Crunchwrap). So check the online menu just in case :)
Instead of having an overpriced hotel breakfast again, we decided to walk across the street and find something a little bit more affordable on our last day. We arrived a little after 7:00 on a Monday morning with no wait. The service was fantastic and our food arrived very quickly. Highly recommend in the area for a quick breakfast spot if you have a busy day ahead.
Stopped by just for a chai after watching sunrise over diamond head lookout. Cashier is friendly and welcoming. The decor is very chic and welcoming also. It felt like home. Ordered a large chai tea latte. It is very yummy and just right. They have outside sitting area and indoor sitting also
This was our third breakfast here, and it just keeps getting better. The customer service is top tier; every single time, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel at home. The shop itself has that cozy, homey vibe with awesome music playing in the background that sets the perfect tone. The food is consistently delicious. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito; it's hearty and full of flavor. My iced latte was smooth and refreshing, and my friend ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel that smelled like heaven on earth as it toasted, filling the whole shop with that sweet aroma. I honestly don't know how the negative reviews came to their conclusions, seems like nothing but haters. This place is an absolute must if you're looking for great food, great coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere. After three visits, I can confidently say: this is the spot. And by the way, their salsa music selection was prime.

Surprisingly enough I ended up getting the papaya boat which was delicious! You can tell this place does everything with care. My husbands iced americano was rich in flavor and he enjoyed the breakfast burrito. Would recommend if you want something not so touristy that tastes delicious. Price was decent as well. Would recommend and would come back when in this part of Waikiki!

Stayed at the Ramada next door to this plaza and discovered Da' HI Brew. Picked up some iced cold brew and instantly became a hit for me! Their cold brew has a sweet coconut, cacao like flavor to it and was smooth to the sip. They have a breakfast menu as well. Did not get to try it but based on the cold brew alone, I would probably say it's just as good. Came back here again on this trip because the cold brew was that good! Definitely go check this spot out and support the local ohana! read more

This place is great. Had a short moment to grab breakfast and decided to come here rather than the McDonalds down the hall. I'm really happy with that choice. The food was really good. It all tasted fresh and cooked well. The ladies working were very nice and were quick. If I were a local, I would be a regular here without a doubt. read more

When I tell you this is some of the smoothest espresso and smoothest latte in Honolulu, I am telling you this is the smoothest latte in Honolulu. Additionally, the people working there were so kind and engaging, and they had fabulous books to read while you waited for your ordered items. If you want to visit a tiny little shop with excellent products, stop here. It is worth the slight incline at the front of the building! read more

Great little place to get morning coffee and breakfast for a decent price near Waikiki beach. The chai latte had a bit too much milk in it which lost the "chai" taste but otherwise was fine for the big size. Friendly staff and clean environment. Seating area was fine except for pigeons everywhere. read more

I like escaping the confines of the corporate resorts for local joints. This was my second find on this trip. Grabbed a sammy and coffee. Ate the sammy before the photo. Bold espresso blend that I wasn't expecting but really enjoyed. Support local businesses when you visit anywhere! read more

This wonderful coffee shop is tucked away within walking distance of the major resorts in west Waikīkī. The coffee is the delicious and while our toast took a while, it was well worth it! They usually only have two people working, so when it is busy...just plan to wait. For us, we weren't in a hurry and enjoyed sipping on our coffee at the outside tables while we waited. read more

Such a sweet little hidden gem! They're located in a tucked away hallway and we found them on our way to Enterprise (few doors down). Their coffee was so yummy that we went twice and I had their caramel macchiato both times. My husband got the cold brew twice and he said he really liked that it had a cinnamon flavor to it. We also had bagels the second time (mine was a parm bagel with regular cream cheese and my husband had a breakfast sandwhich bagel). The owner and staff were friendly. The menu was large, so you would def. find something yummy and they had avocado toast, bagels and other light pastries and muffins. read more

It was our first day in Honolulu and we wanted to venture away from our hotel for some morning coffee. Da' HI Brew popped up on my search so off we were. It's located inside a quaint shopping center and a bit hidden from the street. You have to go inside the building next to the McDonalds and walk down the long hallway. You walk up to their menu board on the wall near the entrance door, and be sure to scope out the latest specials menu outside by the tables. I ordered a waffle for the kids, fruit was very fresh, and coffee was absolutely amazing. Staff was extremely friendly handing us additional utensils, plates and water cups as needed. My cold brew was excellent too. I strongly recommend taking a stroll off the resort and taking a small adventure to this hidden gem! read more
