My husband wanted to give this a try and I was ordered our usual. My red curry was okay, I appreciate that the spice level goes from no spice to OMG. Thai mom's cooking for me makes me go with mild/med and it's usually too spicy for me. This was mild, and the meat for me seemed a bit tough for both my and my husband's meals. I actually had to check and make sure my husband didn't order pork. My husband was also disappointed that he didn't get any lettuce included with his beef salad/yum nua entree. My daughter didn't comment on her meal, and a few days later it's still in the fridge. I didn't even try the satay, but it was pretty pricy for the amount you get. I'm glad lots of people are enjoying their restaurant, and I'm glad we got to try it. I think I'll still with my regular Thai restaurant or make it at home.

We came again since we loved it so much the first time we were here. This time around the service was awful! It took forever to get take home boxes and our check. She was too busy yelling in the back room at employees or something. Then I noticed at the register that it said free chocolate cake on Valentines Day. So when she came back out and I asked about the cake and she had an attitude with me saying we have to have the cake there and usually don't let people take it home. But she said this time she would do it for us. Wow! Sorry to put you out lady! Also the chocolate cake was store bought cake which took her 15 minutes to cut a slice and put it in a to go container. Which by the way.:: the picture of the chocolate cake with chocolate frosting is misleading because you think your getting the slice that's in the picture but instead your getting the store chocolate cake with vanilla frosting in it. I attached the picture of what we got. Rather than the picture they had at the bar by the register. Definitely false advertising for sure! Also it was said lunch specials on the menu but said nothing about it being only during the week and not the weekends. Because she told us it was a dinner price for the meals even though we were there at 11:30am on a Saturday. Which is around $10 more for the dinner price. The food is great but we won't be back because of her rudeness! Not to mention the misrepresentation of the cake we thought we were getting a piece of. We will NOT be coming back!! You need to treat your customers better than this!!

Cute cozy little restaurant we arrived at about 3 PM on a Sunday and there were a few other guest. The service was fast and prompt and our waitress was very nice. We got the honey chicken wings as an appetizer that were amazing and I got the drunken noodles which I didn't love... the drunken noodles taste just like lo mein just a different texture noodle so I just wasn't blown away. My niece got a curry that was amazing though. Would return just would get something else.

Second visit. I was going to leave a check-in for my fellow Yelpers but decided to update my review so that all can read. I had a fantastic lunch today wirh great service. I started with a cup of a very good coconut milk rich cup of Tom Kha Gai, followed by a lunch dine-in complimentary spring roll. I then followed that up with a fantastic Mango Salad with Catfish and a lunch portion of Pork Prik Khing. The catfish was perfectly fried and paired very well with the fresh mango, green onion and red onion. Some of the best Thai catfish preparation that I have ever ate. And the prik khing had a fantastic somewhat sweet sauce with tender pork and fresh green beans and green pepper. This place is immaculately clean too. Easy to get to off of I-94 and Belleville Road.

Been here about three times and I have to say that this is definitely a nice little surprise for this town. Be cautious though because hot is extremely hot and I do like hot but mild is plenty for most.

One visit and done, free Soup Yuk. Fresh Spring Roll a small sliver of Chicken and gummy. Small portion Chicken Satay, terrible Tom Kha Soup. Best thing the Pork Sticks Moo Ping and service . Hayley did a fantastic job . Just terrible from the dozens of places in Metro Detroit, a 2 star experience. #thaifood #notgoodfood #bellevillemi #sosad @baanphadthai48111 #mooping

Ypsi used to have really good Asian food, but recently they haven't been the same. I heard about Baan Phad Thai on Nextdoor and I'm glad I ventured out. The online ordering was fast and accurate and the food is delicious! This will be my go to from now on!

Recently ordered food from this establishment as my family does regularly since they opened but this experience wasn't good. We ordered chicken pad thai, chicken fried rice, and crispy rolls. The crispy rolls were a bit burnt and tasted weird. We have ordered these rolls in the past and never had this issue. We called to share our disappointment with this specific food item. The person we spoke to was "Derrick". He tried to tell us that how the food comes out the kitchen is how we should accept it. He wanted us to come back to the establishment to prove that the food wasn't good. We told him we stay across town and the roads are too bad and that we didn't feel comfortable coming back out (it's currently slick outside, 20 degrees, and a mix of rain/snow). Instead of having empathy, Derrick told us we were lying about our location and used it as an excuse to not come to the establishment. He never said sorry and for the 5 mins of being on the phone with him, he continued to make excuses and be defensive. We told him it was not nice to accuse us of such and that we would instead just appreciate a refund of $8 for the rolls (not the other items). He refused, told us people call in everyday complaining about the rolls, and that we are complaining about nothing. We told him that we have lived in the community for over 20 years and are disappointed at the customer service he is providing now. Unfortunately nothing was handled and we told him we would be submitting a review. He didn't care and because he didn't try to help us we will no longer patronize this business and will instead go to our regular establishment in Allen Park. SMH.

The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, the ambience was delightful. I look forward to returning to try other inspiring dishes on the exclusive menu. It was beautiful on the plate as you can see on the plate. What a wonderful surprise. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because of price.

It was hard for me to decide how many stars to give this place. I decided on 3 for a couple of reasons. I did thoroughly enjoy the soup. It was excellent and I wish I had just gotten a big bowl of that instead of my main entree. It would be worth going back just for the soup. The spring rolls on the other hand were good, but not exceptional. Just sort of run of the mill. I had high hopes for the drunken noodles but was a bit disappointed with them as well. Broccoli was over cooked and the vegetables in general were sort of skimpy. It seemed very salty without a whole lot of depth of flavor. I think the kicker for me was when a guy who seemed like possibly the manager asked me if I wanted a box within just a few minutes of me getting my main entree. I was no where near done with anything. That was quite odd to me. They weren't busy, and it wasn't near closing time. My server seemed new and a bit unsure of menu options but she was very sweet. Location was convenient and very near to the hotel we were staying in. Free parking on road directly in front of the building. Everything seemed clean.

Asked for fried rice w cashews and I got a lukewarm dish, no cashews so the brought out a condiment cup of cashews I had to crush and add myself.I used to love thos place. Sadly disappointed.

Super yummy. I got my food to go but it was fresh and I could tell it was made worh love. Also, I have never seen crab Rangoon made like an empanada but it was so good! Having them stuffed like that allows for a meatier bite and it's slowly becoming one of my favorite types. This Thai restaurant will be in heavy rotation for me.

You can't park behind their building (it's their loading space or something). But you can park across at the Credit Union (we came after bank hours). The food is good though and they have plenty of seating! The servers are friendly too. We tried the OG (minced meat and veggies and it was delicious with the spice) and the chicken wings and mango sticky rice. The chicken wings had a good flavor and come with wet wipes! The mango sticky rice had great rice texture (it was chewy like mochi) but the mango was out of season so it wasn't very tasty. The coconut sauce was also very mild and didn't complement well. I would not get it again.

Couldn't agree on a spot between the two of us, so we decided on a new spot. AMBIANCE - located right across the street from EMU (literally), the place doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that deter you. The inside is dark wood, with seating for about 40-50. I don't know if I'd take a large group here, but plenty of space for a lunch or dinner date. SERVICE - So you order your food in the front and then they bring your food out to you. They take a team approach to taking care of you, with multiple people checking on you throughout the menu. The lady that took our order also checked up on us as we were eating. She was a sassy one, trying to charge me extra for a to go box. I dug it. Other than that, her and the rest of the people there were very nice, and willing to help with any menu questions that we had. MENU - to order, you scan a QR code posted on the wall to pull up the menu. They have a rotating menu, which may explain why the menu itself seemed somewhat limited. Probably the most extensive section of the menu were the appetizers. There were only 2 curry dishes (masaman and a noodle dish) and only 1 type of fried rice. They had other standard items such as pad thai and pad see ewe, and they serve alcohol as well. All the dishes are priced without meat. You can add protein to any of the dishes for an extra fee. FOOD - my friend ended up trying the garlic fried rice with chicken (medium heat), and I ended up getting the masaman curry with chicken (medium as well). The garlic fried rice was neither too garlicky or that hot, but my friend enjoyed it all the same. The masaman curry had a nice curry flavor. Again, not that spicy, but good all the same. I also got a thai iced tea which really hit the spot. OVERALL - pretty solid joint. I normally try a few dishes when I check out a Thai joint, but my friend wasn't feeling too adventurous. I would definitely be willing to check this place out again. CELEBRITY RATING - Ed Helms

So I felt, what do I have to loose!? We both ordered a bowl of "Hearty Noodle Soup" with beef, chicken and shrimp. I asked them to serve it mild, and the chef complied with my request. This soup uses beef stock, and is ideal to keep your insides warm in the winter months, when it's very cold and snowy outside. Likewise, the egg wheat noodles were made earlier by the chef that I have found to be very delicious. We also ordered crispy rolls, which were very good, and I ended up taking my leftover rolls home with me. Bangkok 2, is a small restaurant that does a lot of carry-out business, so seating maybe an issue for large groups, and it would be advisable to call first to see if they can accommodate your gathering. However, if you're looking for a cozy spot to have dinner for two, then this restaurant might be what you're looking for. One of my friends of Chiang Mai, in the Northern Highlands of Thailand, says the food they serve here tastes closer to what she grew up with at home, and has a different flavor profile than what you will find in Bangkok. With that being said, if you're looking for an inexpensive Thai Restaurant, which has fast service, then Bangkok 2 offers wide menu to choose from.
