Quite an improvement over the restaurant that was previously here. We ordered Pad Thai (mandatory to try), the Spice of Thai Platter (appetizers), and beef noodle soup. Everything was fantastic. All the appetizers surprised and delighted the family, the pad thai was solid, and the beef noodle soup was excellent. All four of us were completely stuffed from that order, but I wish I had ordered Gang Gai or Panang Curry just to try more of their delicious food! We also got a $3 bag of shrimp chips - which I HIGHLY recommend even if you're not going to eat them with your meal! They were perfect and an excellent snack even the next day. This will be one of my favorite go-to takeout places going forward, and I recommend you try it as well! I'll come back and let you know once I try their curry and fried rice dishes, but I am quite optimistic based on this past meal. read more

First visit here was for carryout and I ordered Drunken Noodles - which maybe some of the best I've had. Hubby tried it too and really liked it. We enjoyed the fresh basil and fresh veggies plus the flavor was good and medium spice was perfect. They have many flavors of fried rice and I'd like to try them all! I told the employee that that they need a fried rice sampler plate. I'm anxious to go back and eat at the restaurant. It was very nicely decorated and clean. Satay, Chicken PadThai, Chicken Crisps Roll, Crab Rangoon's, Chefs Choice Assorted Peanut Nut Dish, Almond Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Egg Rolls, Chicken Fried Rice, White Rice and Amazing Sauces. Peanut Sauce, NungTung Cucumber Sauce, Sweet Sauce, Sweet Spicy Chili Sauce was all very well put together. We ordered with the Son, the Mother and Father cooked while the Son also helped cook & prepare. Couldn't ask for better service. Close to my home, I will be back many many times. This food was just OK to me. Had the pad Thai curry and there was too much sauce also had fried rice that was very mushy. There wasn't much flavor either as I ordered medium and it wasn't spicy at all. Service was slow, but the lady was very nice. I had a pick up, but the restaurant was very clean. read more

The atmosphere is nice and cozy. The hosts are very friendly. The soup is excellent The food is mediocre. Food was lukewarm and much lower on the spice level than what we are used to at Thai restaurants. The medium spice request was more like a mild level elsewhere. Menu said pork dumplings but when food came it was vegetarian dumplings and host said menu had an error. (But didn't mention it while taking the order) read more

New owner/operators from their old location on Ann Arbor Rd. In Plymouth. Downsizing and took control of Mali Thai which had trouble from day one after opening 2020 comes the pandemic. Started like fine dining, then Canton Ctr Road being repaired. Now after all the challenges, they only accept cash only. Finally, they decided to close and hand over to new operators. Foods have not change, except the pricing is now higher than they were opened 4 years ago. Inflation and high rental rates in Canton, cause so much failure by restaurant industry. Anyway, food is good, but majority of customers are takeout only, I guess they are avoiding the tip as suggested by their portable receipt printer. Ouch! read more

I have found my Thai food restaurant!! We ordered yellow curry, peanut curry, thai fried rice and pad thai and all were all delicious, very flavorful! They gave us free orders of spring rolls with each main dish and everyone was raving about them. They are fairly new and a replacement for the previous thai restaurant that was in this location. This is a new Thai restaurant, having opened in the same location as a previous Thai restaurant. I got carry out last night, still under the impression that this was the restaurant that had been here for 4-5 years. The give away was pulling up in front and seeing "new ownership" and a new name! I was so impressed with my carry out that I returned tonight to eat at the restaurant. The food was great again! There is a lot of flavor, not a lot of oil. The ingredients are top quality and very fresh. They serve Halal chicken, and though it's not important to me personally, I appreciate the good taste and quality of the chicken! Spring rolls were crisp and tasty. The Pad Thai was full of flavor and served with a good quantity of fresh bean sprouts and chopped peanuts. The restaurant is on the small side; perhaps a dozen tables. I'm pretty sure they'll need to start taking reservations soon!! Staff is attentive and friendly. Just got back from lunch at Spice of Thai, and it was the most delicious Thai food I've ever had! The lunch specials included the best hot and sour soup I've ever tasted, a crunchy spring roll in addition to the main entrée. spice of Thai will certainly become my go to Thai restaurant, and I will be recommending it to family and friends alike. read more
