Best tea and service in OKC! Like so many others, I lost power for a week due to the ice apocalypse of 2020. I work from home, and frantically searched for a cafe with electricity and functioning WiFi. I have an autoimmune disease, and I have only been to 1 restaurant since coronavirus hit. I was nervous about hanging out in the cafe, but had no alternative. I was so happy to discover EVERY employee wearing a mask, and each seating area 6' apart. As soon as a customer left, the staff wiped down the surfaces, and even sprayed the seats. I ordered the coconut milk tea (delicious as always) and popcorn chicken with seasoned fries. The food was so fresh, flavorful, and super crispy I forgot to take pictures. I took up residence in the cosy back corner, and tied up a couch for 5 hrs. I didn't get any dirty looks or attempts to run me off. They were gracious and kind in ways no Starbucks barista has ever been. Review is strictly for the ice cream waffle dessert: first time at Babble - The ice cream comes on a "bubble waffle" (delicious - like a fortune cookie except less sweet) - you get to choose 2 scoops of ice cream and up to 4 toppings. I ordered cappuccino chunk and chocolate ice cream (but they ended up making it with double cappuccino chunk) with chocolate drizzle, strawberries, Oreos, and whipped cream. Husband ordered butter pecan(?) ice cream with Butterfinger topping. 2 ice cream waffle desserts, with a little over 20% tip came to just over $17. For ice cream. Argh. And then we waited - That seems to be the story of my life of late. I don't know if they only have 1 waffle maker or only 1 was in service, but OMG - seriously - I timed it. 16 minutes. For ice cream. My husband got his delivered at around the 9-10 min mark, so I got to watch him enjoy his dessert while I grew crankier and crankier.. When mine was finally delivered, I thoroughly enjoyed it. But wowsers.. So if you're a family of 4 and you all order ice cream waffle desserts, that's gonna be around $35 with generous tip, and about 30-40 minutes of your life - (with each dessert coming out in 7-10 min intervals). Yikes. The ice cream dessert is good, which is why I'm giving 3 stars, but maybe invest in another waffle maker? read more

I got a gift card for Christmas and have yet to use it, I like to explore new things but I am usually pretty healthy. I went there hoping for a fresh smoothie and they only have fruit flavored syrup. So I still have my gift card if someone wants it because there's nothing there I will drink or eat! This place is pretty great. You get to try samples for free, the staff is amazing! The place is PERFECT for studying, hanging out, laughing and talking, etc. There are games provides like board games and card games and you and your friends can just have a fun time while drinking or eating! Their tea is amazing, especially with boba. I would recommend Thai tea with Boba, or you could build your own boba drink which is probably the best option. read more

I really do love their drinks-but they are SO slow. I called in an order at 5:40, and they told me it would be 10-15 minutes until they were ready. It's now been 25 minutes and they haven't even started the drinks yet. A single time of this happening wouldn't be a big deal but it seems to take this long every time! Really cool concept to have self serve boba. The process of making it was fun and they have lots of topping options. I also tried the aloe and citron green teas. Aloe was a little on the sweet side so I would recommend asking for less sweetener. Citron is also really delicious. I'm not a tapioca person really so I couldn't tell you how the boba taste here. I usually go for the teas but if I was in the mood for a latte I would get the cereal latte again. I asked for it with less sugar and it was just right for me. Some of the BEST MILK TEA I've ever had! I'm serious. I think their set up is pretty cool and definitely unique when you compare to other coffee/tea shops in the area. The owners and employees there are super helpful, especially if it's your first time and explain how you can grab samples, make your own drink, or just order something off their menu. For me, I've only been twice and each time I've done the DIY drink. I would recommend the Almond Milk Tea or the Oolong Milk Tea - they are both so yummy! This is a very cute little place. They actually have several different places to sit and they also have a corner that has some games. The Boba was really delicious. I got a caramel latte that was very good. And the Babble waffle was amazing. They were very helpful to explain to you how it all worked, The build your own Boba wall. The only reason I gave it a four and not a five is because one of the staff members was very adamant about getting the stand back from my Babble waffle and that was kind of how I was eating it. read more
