Good boba tea shop in Edmond. Price is equivalent to other boba tea shop. Oklaboba offers 20% discount on the first drink with Yelp check-in which is nice. Doesn't have fresh milk tea though. The closest available drink is the Thai milk tea which tasted just like any other Thai tea. It doesn't have a standout drink for me. It offers appetizers and food as well which may be appealing for some people. Well staffed with 3 workers working in the shop. We stopped by to try their bubble tea. Then added the spam Musubi to try. We loved both so much we came back a week later for the poke bowls. All was great! You build the poke bowls just as you want them. The edamame has already been removed from the pods so it's easy to eat. The more protein you add impacts the cost. Overall great value. What a fun experience! We went for supper on July 17, 2024. We had seen a review for them on TikTok and wanted to try them. We were not disappointed. We had gyoza (shared), the chicken katsu, spicy garlic katsu curry w/ udon, and Spam Lover bowl. Portions are nice sized, my son couldn't finish the spam bowl. We also got 2 taro milk tea (one 30% sweet and one 50%) and a pineapple slushee (full sugar). All 3 were delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful. What a cute little spot! My friend and I went by here for lunch because our usual poke spot was closed, but we were very happy with what we found! I usually start off with the food - but I'll start this one off with the service. I didn't get her name, but the girl at the counter was the absolute sweetest. She checked up on us to make sure we loved what we had and was very helpful in general! Service is 5 stars for sure. Food wise - the poke was pretty good! Huuuuge cubes of very fresh fish, tons of toppings to choose from, and very generous amounts of everything you choose. My friend and I both got the bowl with two protein toppings, and it filled me up real good. Everything was delicious as well! As for the Boba here, I love that you can choose your sweetness level and ice level here. I chose the lowest sweetness level, and the girl at the counter was nice enough to even offer a replacement if it didn't turn out to my liking. Overall a wonderful experience. I have only been to this place once so I probably need to go a couple more times to give a better review. I always get some type of basic milk tea when I visit a new boba shop. I thought it was mediocre when compared to other places like Gong Cha or ShareTea. Their menu isn't too extensive which i appreciate. The inside is huge and clean. While I pass by this place often, I had no idea they had poke bowls in addition to the Boba in their store name. We are big poke bowl fans and poke bowls are hard to come by in this area. Oklaboba's poke bowls definitely did not disappoint! Lots of options for protein and add-ins for optimum customization and it was all super fresh and served in these beautiful blue and white pottery dishes. Many boba places tend to be EXTRA EXTRA sweet which I'm not a fan of. Their drinks are pretty easy to drink. I would say their milk tea is more milky vs tea-ish flavor. This place was absolutely amazing you walk in, and it has a beautiful modern design. It reminded me of a model home. It had marble and amazing lighting. I literally screamed. It was the best boba I've ever had , and I've had boba in Asia. You can also adjust the sweetness and ice level. I also love the design of the cups as well. It has a design for the classic boba straw but if you do not want to risk a spill in the car their is a section for sipping. Their is a plug for it so it doesn't spill and a holder for the plug. The interior is so, so adorable and spacious, and the drinks are incredible. Lots of toppings choices, and plenty of drink flavors. I plan to try their punch lime next!
