Service good.. ambiance good.. staff very cool.. other patrons very cool. Tucked away so you'd never see it! In fact, I had to help two separate groups of people find it!

Gurl, it's been 10 years later and I still can't get yew out of my mind. That's how I feel about Baby Bar. I try to visit everytime I'm driving through Spokane. (about 0.5 times/yr) It's the ambiance I love here. Sure, it's dark, but many bars are dark. I love how cramped it is. It's not cramped like the college bars of my youth, where everyone is sloshing beers on you and stepping on your toes. It's cramped like the kitchen at a houseparty, where you've ended up shoulder-to-shoulder with a smattering of perfect strangers. I met one of my dearest friends here when I lived in Spokane, and, a few months ago, he rented out Baby Bar for the after-party of his wedding! It seemed really fitting. Also: even though I haven't seen her in 10 years, Patty, the owner, still recognizes me! (by name! I guess this impresses me as someone that is legitimately poor with names.)

Making out is not allowed (there's a sign)

One of my favorite bars ever... kinda hidden, windowless, super cozy (ok, tiny), dive bar swanky (red drapes, booth-lined walls, swivel chairs), all with the eye-burning red glow of a darkroom. They were playing sexy old jazz the late Tuesday night we came in. What brought us in were Yelpers writing about the fresh squeezed juice, which was a good call: having the grapefruit cut and pressed specifically for my drink made for an exceptional Tito's greyhound. (The Moscow mules are excellent as well, thanks to their beerless ginger-beer). After a few you will want to make out with your date, but the sign says you have to go do that in the hallway.

Great vibes and better drinks!! A definite stop when you visit Spokane! Grab a burrito at Neato first and grab a fresh-squeezed juice greyhound!

The greyhound is a great way to start your night and end your night. Fun place for bachelorette parties.

Took me a few tries to realize that there's actually a door at Neato Burrito you can exit out of.

Totally a 'hipster' bar but I love it nonetheless. Very tiny, so seats are limited and it can become crowded quickly into the evenings.

Great bar, and great prices. Can get quite crowded on the weekends though, as it's a very small venue.

Most recently, on a Friday evening around 7 PM, my party was seated near the end of the bar by the restroom area. A server approached me in a confrontational manner and told me to move my chair because it was blocking the walkway. I immediately complied and moved it where he directed. Despite that, he repeatedly pushed and squeezed past the chair in an aggressive way several times afterward and then returned to confront me about it again. The interaction felt hostile, unnecessary, and unprofessional. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident. On a previous visit, a female server was rude and controlling toward our table, and on another occasion when we were unhappy with a menu item, the response was essentially, "You ordered it, you pay for it," with no attempt to address the concern professionally. The atmosphere is great, which is why we've continued to come back. However, after several visits involving rude and confrontational interactions with staff, it feels more like an ongoing culture issue than a one-time bad experience. I don't expect special treatment, but I do expect basic courtesy and respect. Hopefully management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve the customer experience.

I liked how even though the place was small, the mixologist wasn't in our face and he paid attention to what he was doing, taking care with our orders. They have a nicely stocked bar with more options across the board than I would expect. But the reason this gem shines is because of their creative and delicious drink menu. I highly recommend trying it, especially if you enjoy trying drinks you can't get anywhere else that are made with quality ingredients and perfectly mixed flavors. Even if you aren't an adventurous drinker, I think you'll find something that will appeal (although I'm sure they can make a delicious version of your favorite drink). I write this because I'm super basic about the cocktails I like and rarely venture out of my comfort zone, until something sounds good. I don't like brandy, never heard of peacorn (peach and corn) syrup, but the Peacorn Sour called to me, and it was soooo worth it. I also tasted S's cocktail, though I've forgotten the name, and it had bourbon, which I don't like on its own at all, and I thought it was good. Not drink an entire one on my own good, but if I liked bourbon, this would be fantastic! good. (S confirmed the quality.) We'll be going back, and I'll look forward to whatever new delights they have to offer.
