We visited from out of state last week and were glad to have had this place recommended to us by my cousin. What a unique, thoughtful, and calm space! Our four-top chatted over our fun & delish drinks, as well as, our simply delicious dishes. Each bar back or server was smiling and genuinely seemed happy to be there! I hop to travel from Wisconsin back here soon and definitely share this speak-easy-esque with others going that way. Get the ramen! Try the drinks {both alcoholic and nonalcoholic (pictured)}. You won't be disappointed here. Thanks for being an inclusive & elevated restaurant.

On a quiet street, with an unassuming door, and with an even more mysterious white door to your right as you enter, you come across steps that lead down to where you will find some incredible food. Yes, it does say whiskey in their name, but since I don't drink, we shall focus on the food. The Okonomiyaki Tater Tots were the best tater tots ever. The crisp of the outside was perfect and it was simply ono (that means delicious in Hawaiian), the chicken wings were piping hot and the homemade sauces were a great compliment. Now onto the ramen. The broth was clean and not too salty and had a small hint of truffle. The pork was soft and had a hint of smokiness. I wished I could have spoken to the chef because I wanted to give him an idea for a new appetizer item......pork baos. This is when you put this type of pork into a pillowy white bun often seen in Chinese restaurants. Add a dollop of mustard and a lettuce leaf and BOOM. You have a pork belly bao. If they added this to their menu, they would make a ton of $$$. Just a thought. I also want to comment on Erin. Great attitude and busting her okole (ass) covering the entire floor. Smiling all the way and putting up with unruly customers that left the bar in a huff. She was great. Next time, and there will be a next time before we leave Spokane, I am getting the burger. Several other tables had them and as they got served, all I can think of was our next visit. And I might, just might, also take a shot of one of their expansive line of whiskeys I saw on their shelf. If I was a whiskey fan, this would be a place to visit.

I came to Hogwash just for the Ramen. They had the best looking ramen in my Yelp search. There is a parking lot with cctv surveillance. From the parking lot Hogwash is street facing in the middle of the building. Once in their entrance is the white door on the right. I had the absolute pleasure to meet the chef behind Hogwash's featured ramen. This is a self researched and taught build. 1 1/1 years in the making and it presents well. In Japanese tradition it is light on toppings and features the broth and noodles. Noodles are hand made. The broth is packed with flavor and the dashi comes through. To help master his dish he has traveled Japan and even enjoyed ramen in one of the ramen hubs - Fukuoka City. If you are a ramen enthusiast like myself you must stop by and enjoy a bowl.

Smash burgers, spicy crunch, and tater bombs? Say less. Hogwash Whiskey Den 304 W Pacific Ave, Spokane What We Ordered at Hogwash: * Hogwash Burger Double smashed patties, caramelized onions, and house BBQ all stacked under a glossy brioche bun. Cheesy, messy, and downright dreamy. * Spicy Chicken Sandwich (Nashville Hot) my fav This beast delivers serious crunch and heat. The fried chicken is THICK and the pickles punch back. Addicting. * Okonomiyaki Tater Tots Straight-up umami bomb--drizzled in hoisin, kewpie, sesame, scallions, and furikake. Must-order if you love bold. * Cauliflower "Wings" Crispy AF. Three dipping sauces, no meat needed. * Thick-Cut Bacon Side Smoky, sweet, and perfect for sharing... or not.

If y'all haven't been to Hogwash Whiskey Den..... ya need to! Truly the best ramen I've ever had (and we used to live in Portland where there is ramen galore!). The pork literally melted in my mouth. The tots.... Yeah, I will be dreaming about these tater tots for the foreseeable future. We got a few other dishes that were also phenomenal. Last but not least, the was perfect. It was the perfect date night spot and we can't wait to go back!

Came into town for work. Read about this being one of the cool spots in the city. Cool speakeasy vibes and huge selection of whiskey. Noah, the bartender was great. Solid recommendations! If he's working you'll get good options for sure. The food we ordered was surprisingly better than we expected. The Ramen was good, good for Spokane. Cool atmosphere, good drinks. If in town, check out this spot.

This if hands down the BEST RAMEN IN TOWN! I cannot rave about it enough! The broth is so flavorful, the pork like falls apart with your chopsticks it's so tender! The soft boil marinaded egg is out of this world! There cocktails were also amazing! Food came out super quickly! Severs were kind and again so fast! The dim lighting makes it a creat spot for date nights! It's underground too which gives it prohibition bar vibes!

What an outstanding dive with a speakeasy entrance! Great selection of brown booze, skilled & friendly bartenders, who are renting to own. Their homemade shoyu ramen bowl was one of the best I have ever tasted. I will hit this jawn every time I visit Spokompton!

What a cool place. I almost hate to write a review because I don't want a lot of people to end up going there. They have a long bar as well as a long community table that probably sits maybe 20 people which is pretty cool. They don't have a lot of places for large groups unless you sit at the community bar which was fun we did that there was 11 of us. The food was very good and the drinks were amazing. The staff is very friendly and on top of everything checking to make sure that you have everything. They have awesome, tater tots and taquitos.

Had a wonderful experience at Hogwash. My friend and I shared the cauliflower wings, taquitos, and okonomiyaki tater tots. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I really liked the buffalo sauce that came with the wings. My friend and I both ordered cocktails (and mocktails) and loved the unique flavors. Our server was very attentive and was able to help us decide what we wanted to order. I also ordered the ramen to go - highly recommend!! I loved the flavor. I can't wait to go back!

On my first night, I sat at the bar and ordered a Grapefruit Drop before getting a burger to go. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and the drink was excellent. Bright, citrusy, and well balanced. The Table 13 Burger was fantastic, cooked just right with fresh toppings and crispy fries. I brought it back to my room and enjoyed it while catching up on email, and it hit the spot. The next night, I went back and ordered the same Grapefruit Drop again because I liked it so much. I tried the Fish and Chips this time, and it was delicious with crisp batter and tender fish. The slaw was crisp but mild, kind of the vanilla of slaws. It added texture but not much flavor. I finished with the Huckleberry River Cake, a creamy and tangy dessert with a rich berry sauce that was absolutely scrumptious. The atmosphere was relaxed. I was there on a work trip traveling solo and felt comfortable sitting at the bar. There were plenty of other guests talking and enjoying themselves, but it wasn't overly loud. Service was great both nights, and the location off the main lobby is convenient. The food was excellent, and the experience was consistently good. I would gladly eat here again.

Ambiance is nice, I didn't ear there but it has plenty of seating and decor was nice.

I wish the experience I had was better to report. First off, my friend and I arrived with ample time before our reservation, and were unhappy to find out that there was some sort of children's tea being hosted this afternoon. While it's an adorable idea, it was not the environment I was looking for on my birthday, and had it been advertised ANYWHERE on the business's website, we would have chosen to have gone elsewhere from the start. Because it wasn't, we weren't aware it was happening until we got to the restaurant and were already excited to try the place out. We asked to be sat away from the table with kids that was already there, and as there were two tables about to open up and a table that was already open, we didn't think it would be an issue. The couple that had gotten there before us (but told us they didn't have a reservation) was seated first and very far away from the table with children. We, on the other hand, were seated directly next to the two women who were entirely focused on their mimosas and were thus allowing their children to play loudly with toys at the table. I understand a business being busy, and maybe this place just isn't for me, but I was so excited for it, and we didn't even stay long enough to order. If you're going to be holding a special event, post about it, especially if it's themed. Otherwise, you're just going to have unhappy (would be) customers.
