Decided to check this place out since it's near our home and who doesn't love a sweet treat? So I got a six pack of cupcakes for my friend, a chocolate chip cookies and a brownie. Spent a little over 30 bucks. Wasn't expecting to spend that much. So the cupcakes are 6 for 20 and they are frozen. The cookie was big but 4 bucks and tasted okay. The brownies range in price from 5-6 bucks. This was okay, hard...not moist at all so I was disappointed. I was really hoping to love this place since it's local but I'll have to get my sweet fix at Small Cakes or Sweet Mandy B's. My husband and I were walking around on a nice day and stumbled across this gem. We are both gluten free so it was nice to be able to enjoy dessert out for once. We shared the tuxedo brownie and it was delicious. It was $5 for the brownie but it was a special treat so YOLO! We will come back another time when we would like a special treat. My coworker stopped by here to pick us up some gluten free baked goods for our coffee date. We were both blown away by the variety and how delicious everything was! We tried the chocolate chip coffee cake - very yummy and not overly sweet. Next same the chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting, a cookie on top of that, and then chocolate ganache on top of all that! It was fantastic. Great flavors and consistency throughout! Lastly we tried the french silk pie. People - this is delicious! The crust is so good, and the filling is so smooth and chocolate-y. I would never have guessed these treats were gluten free! No trip to Geneva is complete without a stop at Sweet Natalie's! My 3 kids and I are gluten-free and we have always been pleased with our choices. We have probably eaten one of everything in the store by now! The apple pie bar and the lemon bar are my favorites. As far as pricing goes, I don't see it as being higher than expected. Also, there is the convenience of an entire store where my kids can choose ANYTHING they want! I have always been pleased with the customer service, and they are patient with my children who often struggle to decide which delicious treat they want. My son loves how close SN is to the wonderful library, and there is a excellent park within walking distance as well. Once upon a time I dragged my husband here because I was beyond excited that a gf bakery had opened semi close to where I live. My excitement was short lived. So, so, so sad. I came in on a Saturday after reading about free sample Saturday. Well, there were two pieces of a cookie left to try, if that counts. The bakery was odd as well. I was greeted, but no explanation of what products they had. I went to the display section and there was not a whole bunch of a lot. The associate came over and asked what I wanted. I asked if they had cupcakes and she said no. She then realized there were a couple at the bottom and offered those. Now, these were like little Debbie bite sized muffins... They were also 4.50 each. Whaaaaatttt. The best part? They had a ton of gluten full cookies on display saying 'NOT GF'. Cool, gluten free bakery! Unless one has celiac disease, I just don't believe in the gluten free craze for those of us that don't - like myself. What's taken out in the form of gluten, has to be replaced with something that is sufficiently more sugary and generally much more caloric. That said, the brownies, the cupcakes and gigantic chocolate chip cookies are tasty and the best for gluten free that I've ever tasted, but for moi, you can bring on the gluten, and the dairy and I'll be just fine. Perhaps if they did a salt free or a delicious sugar free, that would catch my attention. Since that's not the case, I'm going to say this place is great, even outrageously delicious for those needing or wanting gluten free, vegan and dairy free. Same for the pasta, breads, etc. At over 9 bucks for a package of gluten free pasta, I'm not tempted to try it. read more

I was so excited when I found this bakery on my find me gluten-free app! It was a little hard to find the first time we visited, but well worth the search. I have tried several items there and all of them were delicious, but I have to say the salted caramel pie is my favorite! At Christmas time I ran in one night and they had a baggie of "pie crust pieces" on the counter so I decided to try them...they were soooo yummy~I wish they would make those a regular item!! As a recently diagnosed celiac I have enjoyed the baked breads, they are tasty and work well with my recipes as I am a home cook. I can enjoy yummy thick french toast with her cinnamon loaf or use the brioche loaf to make this as well. Her decorated Christmas cookies were not only lovely but tasted wonderful. I use her baguette to make crisps and serve it with Halloumi or Bruschetta. I am excited to find fresh baked goods and not being stuck with mass produced celiac products (which some are meh). The owner lets several bakers showcase their wares, so there is always new and exciting products! I decided to check it out while meeting a friend nearby and immediately fell in love! Well, I was excited to find some gluten free bakery near where I live (12 miles) anyway the closest one. I went there Thusday, and I wasn't amazed , it was almost out of products, lady explained I need to come Saturday its the day when store is full, from sweets. You will want to eat everything as soon as you walk in! Everything looks so delicious that you can't even tell it apart from a normal bakery. I love how they have more than the usual chocolate chip and peanut butter flavors that you find in most gluten free dessert options. If I could give it a -0 I would. I am just able to write this review because of my honeymoon. I ordered a mini wedding cake for my wedding. My wedding was a month ago, and I ordered it maybe a month or so before. I spent almost 60 bucks for the driest, overly dyed, ugly cake. I gave this woman a picture, I spoke to her about the description and color and it still came out horrid. When we picked it up I immediately said that's not what I wanted. My wedding was the NEXT day so....it was not the ugliest but I said it's fine, I will take it. My mother even wanted to buy some baked goods from her anyway. Even after the dissatisfaction. She gave us the two items for free, which she did not have to (no one asked). No one was upset until she opened her mouth! She told me if I did not like it, she could sell it to someone else! A cake I ALREADY paid for! No offer to REFUND, just sell my cake because she got in her feelings! She stated that she did not know what I wanted, we don't do fake cakes...I asked her could she do a design (that she did all over the cake) at the bottom like a skirt, and have the rest of the tall cake white. Not rocket science. My mother's presence is the ONLY reason I did not flip after that comment. Back to the dryness....she said she can do dairy-free. I was happy and asked her if she used almond milk or something she said yes. I believed she used water only. Worst ever will never ever be back and I told EVERYONE. I know of four weddings that were happing after mine. They were huge wedding orders, I told them nope, go to this bakery I know in Chicago. I should have just made my own cake.
