This place is always popping. I can never find a parking spot in the small lot, so it's easier if I go with someone that can wait in the car. I mainly come here for the tamales. They're a little heavy on the corn, but still pretty good. There are 3 different kinds - red, green and mole. Oh wait...I think there is also a jalapeno one. I think they are all chicken, but I'm not sure. I tried asking ones, but there was a language barrier. 6/$5 is a pretty good deal, though. I picked up a couple of cookies and bun, all of which were good. There were so many to choose from! The ones I got were $0.70/each. I don't recommend the $2 cotton candy, though. I gave one a try, and the first bite was good. But then there was this greasy after taste that came with every bite that was pretty strange.

Ordered a cake from here. Was easy to order, and tasted great! Everybody loved it. They had ample options, and the price was reasonable. When I arrived to pick it up, I had to wait a little while, but they were very apologetic about it. I've also tried a couple of the pastries, and they are amazing! I will certainly return.

To say the least, It's the most embarrassing cake order I have ever paid for. Not the quality I would expect from a bakery.

Sorry, I dunno any of these pastry names, but they sure were yummy haha

We came here on a weeknight at around 9, and it was bustling! At least 5-8 customers were there, and there were 3 young ladies working at the counter, not including the employees working in the back. I've only been to one Mexican bakery before, in Elgin (which I absolutely adore), so when my awesome yelp friend Jesse recommended this place to me, I was pretty enticed at the prospect of checking this place out. Even though it was late in the evening, they had a wide selection available, 20+. Pastries, cookies, cupcakes, donuts, bars, Mexican ice cream bars too. We picked 3 varieties - a triangular cheese-filled pastry, a cheesecake cup, and a pink cake sandwich ball (sorry, I'm not sure what the names of these pastries are lol). For these 3, the total came to less than $3! Usually when I go to a bakery, a pastry costs at least $2-3 so I was surprised that these Mexican pastries were less than a buck each. Triangle pastry - 3 stars. Soft outer bread with a not-too-sweet cheese filling. Cheesecake cup - 3 stars. Same or near-same cheese filling as used in the triangle pastry. Pink cake sandwich ball - 3 stars. Tastewise, it was good but nothing outstanding to set it apart from the norm. Really cute though. Inside was an adequate layer of strawberry jam. The cake texture was closer to a light cookie than a soft cake.

Good bakery! A little chaotic and the signage is a little confusing/non-existent, but the service is good.

Awesome bakery. Love their tres leche cakes. Some of the staff (very few) know English. Otherwise I would be lost

I bought an elote and they were so stingy with the corn that they only filled the cup half way, and barely put any powdered chile.

Today I took the initiative to actually give this place a try, instead of continuously passing it by. Moka is a cute and small coffee shop that has a pretty broad menu. I was actually surprised at all the menu options. My experience is strictly pertaining to the drive thru. Unlike a traditional drive thru an employee will come outside and take your order face to face. I always like when establishments do this because it makes the experience more personable- and I feel more comfortable asking about menu items. Today I got a medium iced caramel macchiato and the chorizo breakfast burrito. Both were really really good. The burrito comes with a side of hot sauce, and I feel the portion is super filling. My iced caramel macchiato was very tasty, not watered down, and I liked how I could actually taste the caramel. As far as prices go I paid $13.38, it's similar to what I would pay at Starbucks. It can get a bit pricey. Luckily for me- after doing a bit of research I found that Moka does have an app and a rewards program. I just think they should advertise it a little bit more. But other than that I truly enjoyed my first experience here. I'm glad I have another coffee shop to diversify where I get my coffee. Starbucks now officially has a little competition lol!

Oh I was so excited when I saw this place in North Aurora. Coffee trailers like these are littered…read moreall over the Pacific Northwest, but rarely (never?) have I seen one around here. They can be super convenient, in my case because I don't have to struggle with a toddler and hot beverage at the same time. If I was not risk averse I'd consider it a business opportunity! It seems popular, as there was a steady stream of cars in line, probably at least five when I arrived. One of the employees came out to take our order whilst we were waiting in line a la Portillo's. It did mean that the drink I ordered was ready more quickly, but I wasn't able to study the menu as long. They don't have their full menu on the board, which is annoying. All the drinks are listed (with the exception of any specials they may have, which they may or may not have) and the menu board says to ask about the food they carry but the food isn't listed. There's a digital sandwich board that cycles through some of their items and specials, but you can't always catch everything as the images cycle through. The hot chocolate I ordered was really good. I also ordered a couple of sausage muffins and they were delicious. I haven't tasted something quite like it and I wish I knew where to get them for my own kitchen! They have sausage, cheese, egg (I think) and a bit of maple flavor to them. They don't say this on the description but I think they may be baked in a little bit of pancake mix because there seemed to be a dough that encased all the ingredients. I'm going to have to look for a recipe because I've made egg muffins before too but this is a good way to make sure that they retain their shape well and probably also reheat better. If I'm in the area I'll definitely come back to Moka.
