Wavy green crib and really cute pink swivel nursing chair

Beautiful store with really beautiful baby furniture. They have a wide selection of different cribs, dressers, and chairs - it is so nice to be able to see all these styles that I have seen online in person. We saw the Hudson, Lolly, Yuzu and Gelato cribs, they also had some other styles I wasn't as familiar with but were really pretty. I sat in the Kiwi and Sigi recliners, which was so helpful to know which one was going to be more comfortable for me and my partner! The sales team was great, they were able to let me take home some fabric and wood samples and we're not at all pushy about me buying later which I really appreciate. They have white glove delivery and assembly, which was pretty affordable, so I'm going to purchase later when we get closer to the due date! The store entrance was right on Melrose and parking was really easy- they said they had spots in the back but were able to just parked on the street right in front. Overall I really recommend for anyone pregnant to start their shopping at Babyletto!

    Ask the Community - Babyletto

Is this just a showroom to see items in person, place an order, and wait for delivery or can we leave the store with an actual crib and/or nursery chair?

Hi Chelsea! Thank you for reaching out. We currently have bedding and mattresses to take home. But, stay tuned, the retail store will soon have furniture added to our same day selection.

Let me start by saying that I could move into the Joneses and hang out there for the better part of…read morea year and be totally happy. The space and curation itself is THAT awesome and comfy. You'll be inspired to switch up your whole decor aesthetic after just one visit! A friend recommended we check them out when we moved into a new house and our beloved couch that we'd literally had for decades... like while we were just dating... was not working in our new space. We needed a custom size and wanted the L shape to create a scenario where our family of four could curl up together and make key memories before the kids head off to college in a few years. We had never designed a couch before but definitely had some thoughts and ideas. The staff were there for it and vibed with us on it over multiple visits, calls, and emails. It was a BIG step for us and they held our hands the whole way. We must have sat on every couch there over the course of 3 visits and in the end, designed with them the PERFECT couch. Everyone was completely lovely. But here's where it gets really good. My husband wanted a low, deep, lounge style but I felt like I needed a little more stucture so we combined the styles of two couches, keeping it low and loungey but adding a second row of cushions so you or a guest can choose if you want to be laid back or more upright. It's the best of wboth worlds and completely flexible for older guests who would be swallowed up in a couch this deep. It's gorgeous... we sat down with them (on that couch!) and plotted it all out, with the L facing the right way in our house to make sense and bring the space to life. Mady hand-sketched it all up right then and there. The delivery team was so nice and lovingly unpacked the whole thing and were so sweet when I had a major brain fog moment and freaked out that they had made a mistake and designed the L facing the WRONG WAY! In quite a panic, I called the shop and reached Noa, who calmly dealt with my extreme freak out. The delivery team patiently waited for the whole thing and consoled me as I shed a few tears. Noa offered to come take a look at it IN MY HOME to assess the situation. A few days later, I'm walking through my home with them (Noa and her mom, the owner!) and we are all chatting about how it actually looks awesome in the orientation that it's in. I still had sworn that I didn't design it that way but agreed that it actually felt like I should have. They were calm, poised, creative, open, and completely invested in making sure their handmade piece felt perfect in my space. They were not aggressive nor accusatory... just there to see how best to resolve the issue, knowing that it was a custom-built piece. And they were lovely humans as well. We talked about art and design, building a business from the ground up, and the challenges with keeping a small business afloat during economic downturns and worldwide pandemics. Months later, I realized that no one made any mistakes and we actually designed it just like this, and it's been my absolute favorite thing in my home ever since. I think about this experience often, and I'm so grateful for their graceful reaction and approach. The couch itself is a standout in the space and sets the tone for the rest of our decor. It's comfortable beyond belief. It's easy to maintain, has held its shape for years now, and is easy to clean. We got it in a cream fabric, so that was a worry, but they taught us how to care for it easily! Not only does it hold our whole family, but a lot more people when the kids have friends over. It has helped shape not only our space from a design perspective but in how we interact within the space and with each other. And we get so many compliments on it. The quality and craftsmanship are unmatched. We couldn't be happier. THANK YOU! But what really stands out is that in this age of faster, cheaper, AI, and automation, this company is a family business of artisans that care deeply for the products they craft and the impact on their customers and clients. They want you to love the pieces you bring home, and they care to work with you until you do. They love art and design, so definitely take their suggestions!! Their pieces show that love and care and offer you a heightened level of quality and comfort. They are well worth the price, and I hope that you will pop your head in the shop and judge for yourself. You may just bring home a new piece that feels like an extension of your own family. You won't regret it!! I recommend them to all my friends and anyone looking for new furniture. They are the BEST!

But, the whole experience turns out to be dishonest and frankly, exhausting. If you love buying cars from used car salesmen, you'll love this place . Otherwise, there is no joy in Joybrid on Melrose. Commission-starved sales team use deceptive, slimy sales practices where they tack on hidden fees into your order without telling you and then will not take no for an answer when you try to cancel the order. Plus they don't give you a paper receipt and the online receipt they send is not itemized so you don't know until it's too late about all the extra fees. Very sketchy. It's all about trying to upsell you a more expensive product and being very aggressive about selling you a furniture protection plan that you neither need nor want that they sneak into your invoice without your approval. They use the used car salesman ploy, "I just talked to my manager and I can get you this deal instead" which turns out to be B.S. Stay far away from this place if you value your sanity. Plenty of other furniture stores with less predatory sales people who are honest and don't work on commision or sneak fees into your invoice.

The purchases included over ten beds sofas two dining tables and additional home accessories. The website looks great the designs are nice and prices are always presented as discounted. However the actual quality of the products is average at best and in some cases below average. Within less than two years two Charm beds completely collapsed to the floor. One dining table broke. The sofas while still looking fine visually lost all structural support and now sink badly. I recently contacted the company for help because several beds literally broke. To my surprise Valyou Furniture refused to help stating that their warranty is only one year and my purchase was just two months outside the warranty period so they would not offer any support. A piece of furniture meant for daily use especially at this price point offering only a one year warranty raises serious questions. What does that say about the companys confidence in its own products. Very disappointing experience. Nice design but poor durability and disappointing customer service.

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had…read more The first mattress support was delivered broken. It took nearly two weeks of back-and-forth communication before the issue was finally addressed and a replacement was provided. Now, less than six months later, the replacement mattress support has failed as well. Instead of honoring what was represented to me as a one-year warranty, the company is trying to shift the responsibility onto me and discuss protection plans rather than address the fact that the same component has now failed twice. What makes this even more frustrating is that this was not the only quality issue with the furniture. One of the nightstands arrived uneven and was not properly painted in several areas. At the time, I chose to overlook those defects and did not file a complaint because I considered them minor issues. Looking back, that was clearly a mistake. The most concerning part is that nobody seems willing to clearly state, in writing, whether the company is refusing warranty coverage. I have repeatedly asked for a written explanation and still have not received one. A manufacturing defect can happen. A second failure of the exact same component within six months is a quality-control problem. When that is combined with other defects in the furniture and an apparent unwillingness to stand behind the product, it starts to look like a pattern rather than an isolated incident. If you are considering purchasing furniture from this company, be aware that when something goes wrong, you may spend weeks trying to get a resolution while the company looks for reasons not to take responsibility. Extremely disappointing experience. I cannot recommend this company to anyone who expects quality furniture and reliable customer service after the sale. One more thing that I completely forgot to mention. The mattress support system displayed in the showroom is not the same product that was actually delivered. As I later discovered, none of the mattress support systems shown in the store are apparently what customers receive. Instead, a much cheaper alternative support system is delivered with the bed. That would already be questionable on its own, but what makes the situation even worse is that the cheaper replacement component has now failed twice within six months, and the company is unwilling to take responsibility for it. Customers make purchasing decisions based on what they see in the showroom. If the support system displayed in the store is not the support system being delivered, that is something customers should be clearly informed about before making a purchase. At this point, I am dealing with the second failure of the same component, while the company appears more interested in avoiding responsibility than resolving the problem.

But when LUIS, one of the family owners, got word and took over... I could not be happier with the outcome. As a business owner I KNOW beyond ALL DOUBT that you CANNOT have a flawless experience every time NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WANT IT. The truth of a great business is HOW you handle the bad experiences and make good on your commitment. Not everyone can be made happy but the important part is that you know you did what was right. They DID WHAT WAS RIGHT and THEN SOME MORE and for that they get all the respect and appreciation I can share with another business owner. Short version of the long story IF you are still reading. They sent me a GLORIOUS art piece for my office. It ended up TOO BIG to get down the hall despite all my planning (entirely my fault) so I had to hire a contractor to take a window out, get it through the window and reinstall. That took weeks after delivery. BUT a few weeks later I am sitting on my couch and my friend declares "shit, it's already torn!". Not quite right, it had an unseen seam, hidden in the pleat. Every time you sat on it, it spread and showed the batting. For WEEKS I fought with staff about it being addressed. They offered solutions then retracted them as not being achievable. Each time we discussed one thing the employee ghosted me for weeks. When the owner took over, he accepted no excuses, owned the problem and dealt with the employee. Then he arranges to ENTIRELY REMAKE the couch to an EVEN BETTER OUTCOME (and I am sure at some significant expense). I had to hire a contractor again to get the old one out (my expense agreeably because THAT was my error not theirs), but he covered all the return shipping, REDESIGNED the entire couch to better specs both for my own staure (made it a bit shorter and a bit less deep, NOT and easy redesign for a mid-century piece like this), made the fusion removable to ensure heirloom longevity and the ability to reupholster in the future, gave me a batting/fill upgrade, changed out the leather to an upgrade, AND stayed on top of communication with me the whole time. 100% satisfied and then some. Many thanks guys. In terms of spending money with a company... I would do it again for sure when I am ready.
