His customer service is beyond everything he is knowledgeable not pushy understanding helpful . I will say his collection of clothes unbelievable. You can find sportswear dresses casual street wear and the price point really really good . Tried to return a product shortly after buying it -- was told they only do exchanges or store credit, and that policy was only written on the receipt, nowhere visible in the store. We looked around and didn't like anything, so we're now stuck with a product we don't want. Most items had no price tags, some jeans looked used or washed, and prices come from a notebook, not the clothing itself. The "receipt" is just a paper slip with no item details or barcode -- nothing legit. Overall, the setup feels shady and unprofessional. Won't be coming back. read more

What can i say about Splendid for kids???? Just spectacular collection and great soft fabric of children clothing from infant to 6 years old great funky, fun and stylish collection . They also sell shoes, hats and baby accessories. You need to expect to pay 54,00 dollars for a child shorts but it's worth. Great Store period. read more

Sunset Kids is THE BEST. Thankfully it's the only place I ever need to go to get gifts for my diverse set of nieces and nephews. It's hard for me because they each have their own style and tastes, but Jonathon takes care of all of that. He makes me the greatest Aunt in the world! And he makes me laugh. Sunset Kids is a great little boutique located in the Sunset Plaza area. It's not large, but is packed full of wonderful clothing and accessories for children. There is some infant clothing, but most of the offerings seem to be more in the 2T/3T sizes. This is definitely a place to shop if you're looking for something interesting, different and trendy. There are designer jeans, rocker t-shirts, embellished tank tops, unique shoes and all sorts of cool items that are sure to get your kiddo noticed on the streets of L.A. The downsides would be that the prices are typical boutique prices (expensive) and that the selection is not as large or traditionally "kiddie" as some other store. This is like grown up clothing made in smaller sizes. Some folks like that, some don't. Service is very friendly- the guy behind the counter when I visited was helpful and outgoing. They saved my day! I'm a horrible procrastinator, was in town for my best friends baby shower and too lazy to carry a package, justified that truth with the ol' "it's going to get smashed" So, I came into town empty handed and no time to spare. Being the baby was my bff's first, I couldn't go with the mass market goods. I asked the concierge for shopping ideas and they directed me to Sunset Kids. SCORE!!! With only 2 hours to spare and beyond frantic, Johnathon - I think hes the owner- eased my painfully inept skills of decision making and helped me find the most amazing and unique gift; AND, he wrapped it for me!! I don't know who works here but this is the 4th time I've come during their open store hours on different days and no one is there or reachable. They keep missing out on business so bad on them but when I asked the neighboring stores what's up with that they all reply this is an ongoing issue with customers always asking them. I don't even know why I try. Don't go out of your way because they are completely mismanaged and never open....there's even mail all over the floor from what I can assume is days of neglect. I LOVE Sunset Kids! Without fail, each time my son wears an outfit from this store we get huge compliments. One of my favorites for not only my son, but for gifts as well. They have everything from rocker tees and jeans, to outfits for more special occasions. I've always had great friendly service. I have no idea who actually runs this place because I live in the area and they never seem to be open. I had to get a gift for a one year olds birthday party, they said they are open at 10:30 but they couldn't open until noon apparently and even then when I stopped by around 1:00 they had some sign up saying "back in 10 minutes" and they never came back! I later called complaining about how they wasted my time and the person working there had this awful defensive attitude and refused to acknowledge any issues. What a joke of a business, don't waste your time going to this store that is never open when it should be. read more

Store owner Jonathan West is the nicest guy and extremely knowledgeable about his great products. When i tell him the age of the kids I'm shopping for and my basic idea (casual, formal, etc), he immediately lays out 4-5 choices and I am done shopping in minutes flat. He has great taste.
