As usual crowded on St Patrick's but we had a reservation to avoid the huge wait. Ordered some beers and an Irish Coffee (contains Whiskey) for the table. Ended up ordering the Irish Coffee since there weren't cocktails available. On the whole, it was a good experience. Loved the music too.

Happy hour prices are solid, and the fried pickles we shared were decent. I also had a watermelon cocktail that was refreshing and perfectly fine, if not particularly memorable. Service was a bit inconsistent. The bartender wasn't very warm or welcoming to us initially, though that changed once our friend--who is a regular--arrived. Overall, it's a comfortable spot to meet friends and hang out for a few hours, especially on a weekday like Thursday. That said, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return, but I can see why it works well as a local neighborhood hang.

It's built for a different kind of hang: elbow your way to a table, keep your hands busy, let the noise do the rest. Despite the drinks and despite the crappy service on the second visit, we will likely come back the next time we're in town in hopes of finding a bartender who understands the job. It's near other stuff we like, and the music and vibes were that good on the first night. And if it sucks again, there's like a thousand other places in walking distance.

The only place I've ever been physically assaulted at the door. My partner and I had already purchased tickets to a party here on Saturday 3/19. We were waiting outside the door to talk to the manager as security wasn't letting anyone in at 10:30pm even though the party started at 10pm and few people were already inside. While we were waiting, one of the security guards pushed my partner up against the door with her arm pressed against my partner's neck while saying "I will punch the f*ck out of you" because we were waiting OUTSIDE for the manager in the empty line area and didn't leave to go elsewhere in the pouring rain. I got between them and the security guard ran inside. I talked to the manager at Baby's All Right about this event and he did nothing. He asked me what I would do if I were in his position and I gave him multiple examples of steps he could take to ensure the physical safety of people at his bar, after which he said "Well you're not the manager and I am, so it's my decision." And again, he proceeded to do nothing. The security guard was watching our conversation from the back of the bar and laughing. Both are shown in pictures here. A different security guard who was outside tried to justify the physical violence that occurred. Baby's All Right, be better to do the bare minimum of providing physical safety for people on your premises and especially from your own staff who resort to physical violence. I have since tried to contact the bar about this event and have not received any communication back. I am leaving this review so people are aware of the staff and attitudes they encounter when coming to this bar. read more

2/21/14 Went last night for Dre Day... Celebrating 20 years of the Chronic!!! Seriously, so much fun. The venue is cool, plus $5 gin & juice. The main disappointment was the LACK of marijuana. I mean, there was not even a stint of weed in the entire place. I don't smoke, but that would have made the experience 20x better. Overall, the crowd was a good size, the dj was cool, even the white girls dancing off beat and stepping all over my toes didn't annoy me... Great night! ohhhhh but if anyone found a gold wallet with cash, credit cards, and a drivers license, please contact me... it belongs to me! I went to Baby's All Right on a Saturday with a large group. The food was decent, as were the drinks, however, this establishment suffers from one issue; horrendous service. While the "bottomless brunch" was advertised, there was a glass ceiling. Our waitron in a 45 minute span came to our table twice. In a bottomless situation, the expectation is that services will be rendered at LEAST every 15 minutes. Furthermore, on numerous occasions, our server gave us serious attitude. She was, for lack of a better term, being quite unsavory. I felt like I was completing an Olympic time trial with my waitron giving me the time hack every time she passed our table. Finally, the bill could not be split amongst the table. This was a concept I failed to understand. At a brunch with 11 people, where everyone had the same $38 brunch combo, why couldn't this be split? I felt it was quite apparent this wasn't a situation where one individual was treating the group. I took my daughter and her friends to this venue for a concert, they waited outside from 1:00 AM to 6:00 PM and even numbered EVERYONE on line in the order they arrived so there was no cutting and still people who got there at 4:00 PM got in before them. I was told by the security guard outside that my daughter and her friends would be the first ones in and when they were inside my daughter called to tell me that they weren't first and people who just got there were in front of some of her group. When mentioned to the security guard outside he told me very rudely "that is not my problem" this is one of the worst venues i have EVER been to I have never heard a security guard curse so much at the fans and parents, even after the show he was outside cursing at everyone. I will never come back to this venue nor will I ever recommend it. This place needs to look into better security because the current security makes the place look bad. read more

Didn't try the food, so I can't say anything about that. Protip: go in the right-hand side door through that bar to the music area. Voila, free entry. I'm pissed I paid ten bucks. Sound quality was not great, and painfully loud. Music played during interludes between sets made absolutely no sense ... reggaeton before Pharmakon?? Awkward ... way to kill my vibe. This place is for the clueless and the seriously drunk. Hipster try-hards. The relentlessly-trendies. I want to give this place one star just because I paid money for their "coat check," which was not even monitored. Literally a waiter stepped into the booth to take money from me and my friend and hang up my coat. Did anyone actually WATCH the coats? No. At the end of the show we returned to find anyone and everyone inside the booth rifling through each other's coats in the dark. I want my fuckin money back, I'm pissed. read more

Something other places struggle with. I can only speak to the cocktail I had and it was wonderful: Professional Widow ( Tequila + Lemon + Ginger + Cardamom + Blackberry Balsamic). I had a few of those and they were all made to perfection. My friends ordered other drinks but they said everything was to their liking. The DJ - For Future's Sake: Just wanted to drop a quick additional note about the DJ, For Future's Sake. Each time I hear his sets I become more and more impressed. His ability to mix top 40 hits with obscure and niche dance and EDM tracks together is unmatched. Shoutout to him for keeping the vibes pretty epic last night.

First they weren't keeping to the same musical theme as the previous visit, which in itself is not terrible except that the music was so loud it was deafening - my ears are still ringing. Second they claim to only serve good people yet they were serving rif raf with zero respect for their fellow patrons. The bartenders could clearly see how one guy was behaving and they ignored it and just served him his drinks. I thought this might be a cool go-to place, but it's actually worse than nearly every other establishment I've been to NYC. At least the patrons at the other places have reasonable decency, and if they don't the bartender/bouncer does something about it.

We sat in a room that was like a sleepaway camp room, a room that was like a campsite and a room made of wood? Kinda fun to walk around with a drink and explore different areas. The bartenders were super friendly and the place was definitely a cool vibe. They seem to have some kind of bao truck / food stand inside that seems cool, but didn't get a chance to try it. If towards the front by the stage be prepared for pushing and moving around many people if you need to go to the back area (where bar and bathrooms are at). Their bar has a decent selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. There are some food options as well. Bathrooms are a reasonable size, but can get messy depending on the event and people in attendance. Overall it's a good venue and will definitely be back for any future events held here!
